The purpose of Bitcoin and Ripple is totally different.I don’t know ripple will replace BTC or not but it’s value and utility are now getting recognised by bank, as more banks will come one board it’s value will increase.
ripple is a good coin as it ranks among top 5 coins in cryptomarket and also have a good record in the market . On other hand bitcoin the king coin once again have leveled up and now ETF and BITCOIN are all set to rock the cryptocurrency world. I believe, that Ripple can compete with Litecoin, Monero, etc. Even Ethereum cannot be calm in the face of Ripple, but Bitcoin is really unreachable for the Ripple to go with. I do not think it makes sense if ripple replaces bitcoin, we know that the ripple always decreases and people say that the ripple can not grow anymore. ripple is at its peak and can not rise again.
Since Opencoin is an American company, it will accept any government intervention if It wants to keep its investment and this is the only point of failure for the distributed currency scheme
Ripple is very good coin as compared to ripple but the main advantage of bitcoin is now the ETF which will be soon applied on the bitcoin. It will be soon accepted everywhere. That is the main reason ripple will be set back again.

No way. Not possible at all. Bitcoin is a king of cryptocoin. No other coin can replace bitcoin. Ripple is good for investment but this cannot reach bitcoin price. Ripple total supply is very high.
For this altcoin I am more interested in Bitcoin. Although bitcoin is sometimes very dangerous when we want to invest. Because we know for ourselves, Bitcoin is very dangerous in the price suddenly dropped dramatically. That's what we're afraid of bitcoin. For my own ripple I have never seen the development.

If bitcoin becomes quite common before Ripple ever knows it, then what would be an incentive to use Ripple to exchange dollars with bitcoin, when can you do this directly with your siblings or your neighbors without having to deal with credit relationships?
Bitcoin is far better then ripple although bitcoin has higher transaction fees but it is way more better then xrp and also xrp is centralised so I will always choose btc over xrp.

I do not think there will be any coins capable of replacing Bitcoin, although both are very valuable. Bitcoin has more long-term investment value. Developers are already working with major banks and will receive bank support in the future, this will make bitcoin harder to stop.
XRP is not a type of electronic money except it is clearly not handled. About the potential I still believe in Bitcoin
bitcoin will be always better than anything cause it has more chance to increase and it has bigger potential to stay on market with a big price for longer time than for example 1/2/3 months.
Ripple is raising and BTC is the most reliable cryptocurrency. I consider that the choice depends on your aim. Use Ripple for trading and BTC for holding.

From my perception it's a wrong comparison sir, because BTC is the king of the crypto world and its regulate the all crypto currency, so for now no one can't beat it. And XRP that means RIPPLE is one of my favorite coins and I have faith on XRP, it is the most popular centralized coin so its future is obviously good, but it can't replace BTC. Although Ripple has a good position in the crypto currency market, my choice is still bitcoin. Stability and reliability are important for me, therefore bitcoin.
I am more interested in Ripple, because why I am so confident with the coin even though the price is small but this coin is ranked 3 in CoinMarketCap. and Ripple is famous until now and his project is always evolving

Bitcoin is the best coin and has been leading the market for years so I think the best option remains on Bitcoin, Ripple I think is also a good coin but if compared to BTC, Ripple is still far behind BTC.
