This idea extremely wrong thought, Ripple is now top 2 coin and Ethereum is now 3 coin but possible Ethereum will be second but Ripple is good and will not die.

Yes, ripple will die just because of centralized model! Stay tuned, this centralization will never bring you something valuable.
Crypto was originally created to suggest decentralized world

For the purist crypto enthusiast, XRP will get a lot of hate. Specially the way it goes against the decentralization nature of crypto. But for those speculators who loves to make money out of this market, then XRP is the pump-and-dump coins for them.

Just imagine at the beginning of this year how XRP was pump and now overtaking Ethereum and now the second coin, I don't think it will just die down like that.

Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/deleted-2876521) that are person to person and small business to small business
I certainly do not like ripple , but I certainly doubt that this coin will die , it has a future and it will exist in this market

I don't agree with the author's opinion and I don't understand why Ripple should die. With the same statement we can talk about almost any coin on the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple will not die because there is a great company behind it that continues to promote the coin on the new markets.

Ripple is a coin that has a very strong defense. The strong impact of the market did not make the ripple continue to run until it succeeded in shifting the position of ethereum. In addition, the development of ripple is not so intense in its marketing. The weakness makes ripple not a priority for investors to invest. Even so, the ripple has a longer chance of life even with a low value.

I don't think Ripple's gonna die. I understand that this coin is pumped and it is centralized, which means that at any moment it can pump even more.

For how long you are going to pump this coin? Eventually someone would realize that the fundamentals are weak and the crash will start.

I think the Ripple will not die. I think Ripple will make us surprised at the beginning of this year. We'll see what will happen. I still believe investing in Ripple.

As long as the crypto currency community exists. and they trade the crypto currency will not die including Ripple (XRP). they will not die if the trade circulation is still running
Everyone understands this. Especially if you understand that today many rich people are starting to invest serious money in cryptocurrency, I think that today cryptocurrency is a very profitable business. Today we need to try to invest faster.

Why does Bitcoin exist in to begin with?
One of the reasons, people are sick and tired of getting there wealth diluted every year by 1-2% or even more.
Ripple apply the same  old fiat style system, 1-2% new XRP every year, no differed than printing new fiat.
Bitcoin coin emission rate halves every 4 years and 83% on the marked so far. Next haling about May 2020.
Deflation will kill Inflationary system in long the run, only a matter of time.

I agree with you, but I also agree with the first reply on your topic, that says Ripple will not die because of pump/dumps.
If you believe that Ripple haves potential to grow, or prefer its other and decentralized alternatives, I'd suggest you the CoinBundle platform.
The most risky bundles contains Ripple (as it is one of the top 20 coins), but there are also other bundles that doesn't includes XRP.
Please say the coins you most like on the platform, and why. Instead of choosing coins to build a portfolio, you buy a portfolio (bundle).
Try the platform and share your thoughts. Hope CoinBundle gets Kora and other truly decentralized coins (as they haves SiaCoin instead of Storj)

I fail to understand why XRP has the second highest valuation of all crypto projects. Personally, I don't see the value of a blockchain used like that when it seems to be so centralised.

This is really difficult to judge. As a loyal investor of cryptocurrency, I am against ripples. The concentrated coin violates the principle of cryptocurrency. In fact, it is not a real cryptocurrency, it is just a blockchain token. But the government may prefer such coins.

I think the dream of the creators of Ripple, to sell to the big capital in the face of world bankers, but they are very greedy to give ordinary people money.

They don't care about people they only care about making money for the company. Ripple is not a group of devs that wrote a white paper. It's a company that wants to sell a product and will do anything to succeed and stay solvent. People who invest in it should realize that when Ripple Labs goes under so will their coin. It won't be like when a dev abandons a project and a coin lives on within the community.

I'm pretty sure banks can't just steal intellectual property from Ripple. And they're so slow to develop their own stuff, they might decide to stick with Ripple.
Ironically, the larger the bank, the worse the inner bureaucracy is.
I'm not that pessimistic

I agree with the creator of the topic. Decentralization is not an option for the banking system. It should be controlled by state bodies and never the state will not decentralize this sphere.
