I would not sell any coin in loss because i think that if the project is live, it can always go up. Also, I don’t think it can get lower than it is now as the market is calmed down by now, so you’ll still be able to sell at least at this price weeks later HODL or sell?
I believe that Ripple will pump up again within a very short time. The market is down now and it is down since many days. But I believe that the market of ripple will rise up like BTC and I also believe that the total price will recover within the end of 2018.
Ripple always pump intermittently! Ripple's price action is squarely in the hand of it's CEO and it's interest group. The reason I will not buy ripple is because is centralized and control by group. Ripple will never be in the hand of the people rather it will be continually manipulated!

I guess yes, but it will take time. at this point all altcoin down almost lost from half its value. and this is a great opportunity in every crypto purchase. but the market is still very difficult to guess, especially to wait for the market to be pumped

Personally, I don't like that coin but if you're about to sell now are you ready for the loss that you'll get? do you accept defeat with your first investment in crypto and learn from it? That's a good way of countering your emotion if you're in loss and that is by thinking that it can be a lesson for you of not investing during all time high's. But if that doesn't matter to you and you just want to make your first crypto investment with Ripple profitable, hold and wait until it reaches again that price. HODL or sell?

according to me you should hold. the market now is not the time you sell. Please hold and if it was money idle sulk let's hold to the end of the year, It will help you earn 1 big amount.
Crypto related affairs st such a time that we are now are such that requires serious patience, perseverance. A good observer/investor will definitely know selling his lots now will actually resort to deficit; which may lead to bankruptcy if care is not taken.
Ripple is steadily pumped a couple times a year. If you have these coins, just wait...
Ripple will grow only if the big players decide that it has any useful technology. But it most likely will not, since Ripple has recently been caught lying.
