I think that investing in altcoins is dangerous due to the fact that many of them are not stable in the market

Personally, I don't like that coin but if you're about to sell now are you ready for the loss that you'll get? do you accept defeat with your first investment in crypto and learn from it? That's a good way of countering your emotion if you're in loss and that is by thinking that it can be a lesson for you of not investing during all time high's. But if that doesn't matter to you and you just want to make your first crypto investment with Ripple profitable, hold and wait until it reaches again that price. HODL or sell?

according to me you should hold. the market now is not the time you sell. Please hold and if it was money idle sulk let's hold to the end of the year, It will help you earn 1 big amount.
Crypto related affairs st such a time that we are now are such that requires serious patience, perseverance. A good observer/investor will definitely know selling his lots now will actually resort to deficit; which may lead to bankruptcy if care is not taken.

It means when you started crypto the market was in good condition but it is now facing worst condition so let me suggest you if you have no issues of money and dont need this money on urgent basis so hold your ripples.
Base on the market graph and statistics, all the coins are on progressing upward and rising once again from being crashed and one of that altcoins is the ripples. In my own opinion, ripple will once again rises and pump very high as the before the end of the year because the last quarter of the year is the green period to all the cryptocurrencies. Just have a little bit more patience in waiting.
