Ripple is one of the least trusted currencies on the market. Bitcoin and Ripple will not be the future of either. And I'm holding on to Bitcoin.
i bought Ripple in jan 2018 at 2.5$ but still i am holding it in loss. is there any chance to pump again. i bought this ripple when i entered in crypto. it makes me worried when i see the portfolio.

Ripple is a geninune platform so if you like to hold this platform it will make profit but many peoples are said it is banking platform so totally against in Bitcoin platform may be it will dump also in future. My suggestion is this is right time to exchange in some other platform so as soon as possible move Bitcoin your investment is safe in future. HODL or sell?

We all know that all GOOD or WORKING crypto are just in a hibernation period, it will recover in the right time. The only problem is that you bought Ripple when the market reach its highest peak that is why you have a lots of losses. If you have bought couple of months before that, it won't hurt you that much. Don't worry buddy, Ripple has already proven itself to be a contender of bitcoin, it is the top 3 coin in the market see https://coinmarketcap.com/. Just hodl the coin until the market recovers or might hit an all time high again.
It seems to me that the ripple will react slower than all to the growth of the market. Now there are fewer and fewer hamsters in the crypto. There is no one to buy ripple.
Ripple is one of potential Altcoin and they have a strong develope team and support funds behind them. If you determine that you will hold it for long-term, you'd not better be panic and sell it at this moment
Indeed, this year is a confusing year for the current crypto industry, when Selling, Buy or Hold becomes a dilemma. My opinion is better to Hold, because if we sell now at a low price rather than buy, we will regret it. There may be little doubt if the ripple price is getting lower, but I still optimistic in Altcoin (Ripple) will rise again. 
You should never sell with these losses. Many investors are expecting a rise series. I think you can do the best if you wait

there is no a chance to pump it agian. They hype of ripple has already ended and you must not expect a lot from there. If you have bought ripple and it's the worst mistake i have ever seen. it's complete shit scam coin because the developer is only care to generate more and more profit for themself. I think the XRP price is hard to come back to $2.5. The market now has no signs of recovery. So if you continue to hold, you have to wait quite long.
It's possible but of course uncertain.
That's why it's always best to cut loss or must really trust the project you are invested in.

Ripple price will surely go up again, but I don't know when. Ripple has a lot of strong backers and institutional parnership. The main issue that I have with Ripple is the centralisation arguement but we all know this could be a positive thing for the price, because what mostof these institutional projects want is control of their network which Ripple offers
Yes, the centralized coin is also very worth investing, but you must insist that it may take 1-2 years, you have to endure loneliness, and only then will you not lose money.

You've held it this far, and maybe you will not regret it. I'm sure the odds of getting back to your purchase price are much greater than the likelihood you're getting a bigger loss. HODL or sell?
You must have thought $2.5 was the bottom of ripple, I get it because there are lots of you expecting to profit from buying cheap coins and the least you expect was that its going to drop to cents. There are lots of speculation of the next bullrun coming its just unclear when it would happen though, I'm not going to say its coming this year, the best thing to do is just keep you xrp and trade other coins.
I do not think that now you can talk about pumps. Now there is not that excitement and demand that in December 2017
I heard not very good news about the ripple, it seems in California filed another lawsuit against the crypto-startup Ripple Labs, CEO of Brad Garlinghouse and its financial services division XRP II LLC. Plaintiff David Okoner demands to recognize the crypto currency XRP as a securities. Perhaps after such news and there will be sharp price jumps, time will tell.

Why does all the newcomers when they come to the market first of all buy Ripple EXPENSIVE? Even my friends who do not understand anything in the crypto want to buy Ripple. It's really fun. All you have to do is wait for the next big wave of growth, when the whole market will grow strongly and ripple too.
I am quite confident Ripple will surely pump again, but it seems very unlikely this year due to the prolonged bear market although you never know what can happen in the future in this extremely volatile market. Selling now at a loss would be seriously dumb and something which I do not recommend at all. I recommend HODLING your Ripple since this coin has a bright future ahead of it due to its tremendous potential. Have patience and wait for the market to rally like crazy.

Ripple is doing all it can to make the brand a success that is not limited to a single field or use.
They are even trying to diverse the company expanding from their token only identity.
It would surely pump again but with that large marketcap, the rise in price would be slight.
You cannot expect it to rise a x10 or something but upto a x2 rise can be possible if they announce any new good partnership, probably with a renowned bank.
