The information needed for Level 1 KYC isnt something that someone could really bother on and in fact there are people who do make use of fake details which could solved out the problem

Im one of those people that submitted fake details for the lvl 1 KYC Roll Eyes. Do not attempt to try this for anyone reading this, I mainly play with small amount of money in Roobet therefore I know that there wont be any problem regarding my account whenever I want to withdraw. I used to use my real identity for the lvl 1 KYC but I tried to change it before and Roobet wasnt even asking further verification about that so yeah staying anon with the fake details for now
Even myself does have this kind of behavior not only limited on gambling sites but also in other services as well which i do see that it isnt really  that much needed to input honest or real information

unless if you are dealing with exchange then this is where real KYC or information is a must if you dont like problems but for gambling then it wont really be that necessary.
Its never been recommended but its up to you whether you do take risk or not and you know on what are the probabilities.

It's especially important if your account has already gone through KYC. Because as casinos in the internet become better in detecting fake identity/information details and fraud, the value of accounts that are validated with real ID/information details behind it go up. I believe there's a growing black market/dark market for hacked accounts with KYC, which should make your casino do extra measures to secure it.
In fact, that's certainly the case, yes. You also have to be careful who you give your KYC data to. Especially in the ICO bubble in 2017/2018, there were projects that demanded KYC for airdrops and then sold the KYC data (scanned passports, etc.) on the darknet.

Of course, I do not have such concerns with reputable casinos like Roobet, but one should always keep in mind.
Many people are hesitant to comply on KYC requirement because of their worries that it might get compromise. But just like what you have said, we should be careful on where to give our data. Im not really comfortable if a particular casino has a KYC requirement since we have a choice if we're going to comply or not because many existing casinos are not requiring their players to undergo KYC. However for me, it depends on the reputation and your trust, thats why I didnt hesitate after Roobet ask for a level 1 kyc because I want to continue playing on their site.

suggestable or recommended because it would really be pain in the ass once you do encounter some problems which do require some verification thats why do it on your own risk
if ever you do input false information and also there are lots of choices or options considering the number of casinos online as of this moment.

There's no need to be upset
Just saying about VPN usage since it is still being talked about above. Roobet VPN usage terms are crystal clear. You shouldn't use VPN if you did not have written consent and if your countries are blocked.

have you heard of AIDA?
Yea, that is what I talking about, although I don't have experience with gambling-related marketing. Mostly even in many aspects of business categories, the way of customer journey won't differ too much and it can be specified and adhered to the marketing funnel.

great point on checking the ToS for VPN usage

and yes, I agree that concepts of marketing funnel are probably similar on all industries, even if some industries have a wider top of the funnel
audience retention and stickiness product varies, but many of the marketing concepts can be applied on many different companies.

So are you facing any issue with password and logging into Roobet ?
Roobet is one of my favorite gambling platform and i often play there along with few other gambling sites.

Yes only the first time I login after a few months of leaving this site I just found out this is their attempt to keep user accounts safe.

I suspect this will happen if we don't log in for some time to ensure that we are the owner of the account security code will be sent to email.

If we don't enable 2FA, this will be very helpful hackers are not easy to take over accounts.

If you are fine with the KYC norms then you should be submitting the original documents because there are two sided problems with fake ones like if the casino detects something suspicious they will freeze your account and deny you of any withdrawal and secondary what if that person denies you of your winnings? So if you are not comfortable with KYC simple is choose some other casino that don't ask for it.

It actually easy to spot the ToS about VPN usage, just visit https://roobet.com/termsandconditions, and search on your browser based on "VPN" keyword.
It is not a 100% set in stone thing about the VPN usage even when you find something in the rules. However, it is about "hiding your IP", so if you own an IP for the VPN, then we shouldn't be considering that as illegal since it belongs only to you.

I believe that we should still contact roobet if we are about to do something like this, or at the very least, check the list of nations that are not allowed to play and if we are from those nations just stay away. I have seen plenty of people from the USA who are not allowed to gamble in most major casinos who all end up still playing via VPN, not sure how healthy that decision is.
Why battle with the rules? I mean is there a possibility that you could be find if you find a good loophole or anything like that? Yes of course, but that doesn't mean that we should be fighting against it. I personally would feel like there is a good case to be made about the hardcore rule bending may end up screwing us over if we keep doing that all the time.

I know that it is not going to be something quickly getting us in trouble and we could be doing fine for a while. But, why take that risk? We should be focusing on how easier we could get our gambling and not harder and that means that we should be not doing anything that is risky at all.

It's fine if you won't believe me. I participated on their bonus hunt before, which was held in the Games and Round board, I am not able to access some slots that's why I asked if I can use VPN to access those games. They granted it, for all promotion participants. But yeah, that could be different for a casual play.

King Roo is one of my favorite features here at some moments i take place there and never last long because Roobet has a lot of whale players
I tried joining also there before, but I backed out eventually since the minimum bet is $1. Can't afford it that time, may be even now it's still a high bet for me.

This could be a good security, Roobet is protecting the user and if you didn’t activate those security feauture, Roobet will still require you to do do. I didn’t experience this one since I open my account from time to time though I rarely playing but still my account is safe and intact. Also, basic KYC will require as far as I know if you haven’t done any, so check it and try to submit the needed information so you can now access your account.

The safety of your account is made up of Roobet security system and your account protection. If you can not keep your account information safely, Roobet will hardly to save you. Exchanges can not protect you even they have detection on suspicious activities. Sometimes their protection works, sometimes does not work perfectly as expected by design.

Therefore, you as a user are the one will have to protect your account and money first and in the end.

I believe that these are really good measures and even if as an user one may feel that it’s not good, they should see the bigger picture and understand that Roobet is trying to take extra steps to protect them. Furthermore this will also end the claims of my account was hacked, and all their user’s should support this initiative to protect their accounts.

Great to see Roobet Rock N Roll competition started up with 10k each raffle winnings for top 10. Last time I had more than 900 tickets but as universal rule I never won anything out of it. Lolz. Fun!!
However still gonna try my luck this time. Might just move around 100 tickets only since this is also will need around thousand dollar in wager and that’s a lot for me. How you guys see these raffles?
Do you play aggressively and collect lot of tickets or do you just collect small amount of tickets and depend on luck!

By registering on Roobet that is mean you are agreed to any term requirements that Roobet has. Not obligating those terms means if there is any dispute you are inherently accepting whatever is mentioned on the ToS.

Even if you own the VPN, I believe that still technically hiding your default IP, which it was mentioned that it is not allowed if there is no such allowance from the team.

To be on the safe side, better to obey what is written in the terms and conditions mentioned for roobet to avoid any misunderstanding later.

Apart from topic regarding VPN...
King Roo will be ending in 2 hours, are there any BTT members here that contents to be a King?  Cool

King Roo is one of my favorite features here at some moments i take place there and never last long because Roobet has a lot of whale players
Since the last 3-4 months I have not been active here because I have found a new place today I tried to login and get my password has expired
The system asks me to change a new password there seems to be a major update. I'm checking out what can make me come back to playing here.

Correct, and anything under the Terms and Condition is absolute.
But they allow users sometimes to use VPN once you ask one of their representative. And mostly users from bitcointalk that participates on their promotions. But all of these are non-sense if you came from a country which should be unable to access Roobet's site.

I dont believe about requesting on using VPN even if its clearly stated on their TOS unless if there would be some exemptions but most of the time they would really be sticking on their terms

and as a player who do reside on a banned or restricted country and if you dont like on putting yourself into possible trouble then its better not to make yourself get involved

and much better to find for another site which doesnt restrict you on playing on but if you do insist then its your choice.
