Printed very large in the first post of this thread, with only slight modifications for emphasis on some things a heck of a lot of people have somehow been overlooking this week (specifically, that 750 - 189 = a buttload of sticks left for sale; take a note of that, four people who have messaged me since yesterday):

SECOND RUN QUEUE: 189 sticks paid (0 shipped)

Sales for the second run of Compacs is now open. I will be assembling using pulled chips, but every Compac will still have the same testing requirements and warranty. Delivery should start in the middle of February. Total batch size about 750 sticks.

...

here's the official process:

1. Calculate the total cost of your order:
1a - $25 for every stick desired.
1b - US Domestic Priority Shipping: 1-5 sticks $6; 4-20 sticks $10
1c - International shipping, 1-10 sticks: $15 first-class (2-3 week); $25 Priority (6-10 days)
2. If you bought one of those t-shirts (and can prove it) knock off $5 from the total.
3a. Bitcoin payment: Convert this US dollar value to bitcoin and send it (from an address you control) to our for-this-project sandwich address 1BURGERAXHH6Yi6LRybRJK7ybEm5m5HwTr
3b. PayPal payment: The above-calculated dollar value can be sent to [email protected]
4. Sign a message (maybe something about sandwiches) with the sent-from address and send the message, TXID, quantity purchased and your shipping address to me in a PM, or in an email to [email protected]

BTW check out USPS prices...they just hiked everything this week. I just realized this shipping some of my sticks. (priority international flat rate box went from 26-34 for example).

PCBs and heatsinks should be here within a week; most components should be in next week and I can get started on manufacture. Looking good so far.

How can I get in on batch 2?  I was hoping there would still be 6-8 cards available.

Hey if I list my 13  that I have left and get 80 each  after expenses 60 each  I would net 780 usd.  Not bad.

 Grin   Just kidding. Grin

I paid 500 usd for the 20 I purchased.
And I think I had 2 tester sticks. For free

So far I sold 5 batch 1's at  a 2 dollar loss for 123  to buysolar.

I gave away 2 sticks on the stick club for contests.

I gave away the 2 test sticks for promo's on the diff spec thread.

I  paid for 13  so far.. Can't wait to get them.

No, but we can at least complain about stolen pictures and inaccurate listings.

Yes we can Smiley

Sadly he sold out... so no amount of complaining will do much at this point as they cant pull an auction that is done.   So guess he won can't believe he made so much off of it.  Crazy though.

Yes, you can still buy - but Run 2 is in progress so an order placed now won't be delivered until the middle of February.

There's nothing you can do about people reselling the sticks unfortunately, let's just ignore it.

Are these still worth it where can we buy?

Yes they are available, PM sidekick. They are worth it if you want a the best USB miner on the market today to play with! Smiley

Even if he bought from a reseller like CrazyGuy, and after adding in shipping and a Y adapter and eBay fees, he's probably still making about twice the profit that I am.

I would have not sold to him if I would have known he was going to do that.   He sit on the 3 i sold him since before batch 2 was shipping. Guess he had a long term idea on sale.

I guess I can't control other people.   But 80 dollars... that is crazy + his listing ... add another reason I don't like ebay.  I think they are all stolen pictures just with a boarder on them.  I can't find them but I could have swore the ones on table are my own.

*Edit yea only last 60 day's can I see on auction.   I can't see on the 3 he bought from me as it's been months if he stole pictures off table, but I'm pretty sure those were my photos.

Ebay listing number 291654581974 ? I'm not sure whose listing that is. I didn't have any big batches ship to a guy in Virginia.

Also there are several untruths present in the listing. No Compac has yet been made with salvage chips; all of mine and MacEntyre's were made with new ASICs purchased directly from Bitmain. Nobody has reported hashing at 36GH/s with a Compac; that would require being able to run at 650MHz and I don't know of a stick that's yet hit 500MHz - not even Max. Also the entire paragraph "This means you can mine with MORE HASHING POWER than any AntMiner widely available as ENERGY USAGE is factored into account.  This means you can mine silently and profitable for long after those big Mining Rigs shut down because of their huge electricity bills" is somewhere between misleading and outright lying. "Homemade" is also a bit of an insult. Also, to get 16-21GH by definition requires tweaking and overclocking - unless this seller is doling them out preset at a ridiculously high voltage, which kills any efficiency claim or ability to run on stock USB power.

With that much markup, it's probably a reseller from a reseller. Course that does include shipping and, apparently, a Y adapter.

When I sold batch 1's thinking I could get more money and buy more batch 2's that guy who listed that bought from me.   I think I sold him 3 (if I remember right).  He was wanting more then I had so he might have went to other sellers to.   But if he get's that 80 dolllar.... he made far more then me.  Are people paying 80? Really?

Sodium hypochlorite, acetone, ethanol
was also on some russian site (i cant read all that)

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:A10Tgn0rhB8J:sendle.ru/kupit/Bitcoin%2BMiner%2BAnt%2Bminer%2BUSB.html%3Fid_category%3D16145+&cd=2&hl=nl&ct=clnk&gl=nl

now looking at the pictures, i was wondering, wouldnt it be better for airflow if the heat sink is rotated 90 degrees, when the fan is aimed at it from the side?
