SECOND RUN QUEUE: 597 sticks paid (156 shipped)

Sales for the second run of Compacs is now open. I will be assembling using pulled chips, but every Compac will still have the same testing requirements and warranty. Delivery should start in the middle of February. Total batch size about 750 sticks.

This is taken from the first post, which is continuously updated when more sticks are sold or shipped. I'll have probably at least 90 more going out Friday; the next order after that is 100 so it kinda holds up the line.

Sorry I definitely need to learn to read. Thanks for the quick reply.

Got more sticks hitting the post office. I'll have tracking numbers sometime tomorrow.

Pulled-chip sticks start with serial number 2200. So if you get a stick with serial number less than 2200 (in this batch, 2001-2138) are the last of my new ASICs and 2200 on are the pulled chips.

Don't mean to pry or imply that I am impatient, more curious than anything, how many have been shipped?

So each stick runs are 8GH/s, but can be overclocked to 23 Gh/s?

To get to 23Gh/s or over you need a fan pointed at it or upgrade the heat sink. I took an old bfl heat sink and mounted it with the fan. It never thought about getting hot, if I turned off the fan the heat sink would be very slightly warm to the touch after a few hours.

The default depends on what software you're running. If it's a stock cgminer that enumerates them as U3, it defaults to 225MHz (I think). I believe BFG defaults around there also. I don't know offhand what cgminer-gekko defaults to, but probably 150 or 200MHz. 150MHz and around 600-620mV should be able to run 8GH off a stock (500mA) USB port.

By the by, all this is discussed in the support thread, a massive and conspicuous link for which can be found in the first post of this sales thread.

I should be getting my 53 soon.   Depends on your HUB Hub.   Cgminer will try to max out to highest it can.

Some get 12gh without doing anything cgminer does that default.

I had the same issue with U2 USB miners.   Cgminer ran them 250 default...   they are  1.6gh but were running 3gh.

The discussion was about power supply fan noise.

★ these are stars ★

I will just test the how high I can run the ubs compacs.  the mining will be in Garage.. that is down stairs.  So the sound is a non issue.

They're fanless.....

These are built incredibly well. I only have one and it's sticking out of the front of my tower, some how my wife bent it about 20Deg and it still ran. She told me when I got home from work and I bent it back, still runs like a champ!

Mine is rated 75A so it can do the 49 at 1.5am or greater.

well they are all meanwell.

I owned yours   it will be about  70% efficient  at full load the fan will be very loud.  You will need to turn the volt adjustment pot to 5.5 volts and you will drop down quite a bit to about  4.9 volts.

this is really the best choice  add a fan for a little more watts or run fanless

https://www.trcelectronics.com/ecomm/pdf/hsp300.pdf       87%   vs your 78%

RATED POWER(convection)  is 60Amps 300watts

I have 35 Sunpower 327W panels working on my roof.

convection means no fan

add a fan and it will bump to  75 Amps and 375 watts same as your model.

When you get your model  psu and set it up  let us know how it works for you.

I have a solar panels on my roof, I won't pay for much my mining.  Almost none Smiley

then your choice is fine  the psu fan is a bit loud  but if power costs don't matter it is a good choice.

Watch for voltage sag with all 49 hubs in use.  you may want this

All shipped orders have received word (and tracking numbers) from me. I'm gonna try and be better about getting this information out this time around.

Yeah, I guess anyone wanting to drive to Missouri for pickup should pay the $25 per stick but not the shipping. And let me know in the message that you'll be picking up.

I wish I was close I would pick up my 53.. Smiley

Did you see my post about the power supply it should power them up to at least  1.5a

that psu is okay I would not use it as it has low efficiency

these two are better

your psu is noisy.

I would cancel the order  and consider the fanless one  then add a fan to it.

BTW if you use  49 ports the sticks will need a fan

I did 20 sticks on the 49 port I now do 13 on this psu

this one is fanless and does 250 watts in silence add a fan and it does 350 watts
