It's all national intrest. Russia as a country is doing all within power to maintain it's relevance. In the face of imminent threats. It is not really Russia fault that it seeks to expand its territories. The inability of the United States and NATO led coalition to stop. Every great nation of the world has at one time or the other sought to expand its territories or influence. Russia is doing what it's has to do to remain great. United States of America and NATO on their part should do more to rein them in.

If Russia is not stopped in its aggressive intentions now, then it will be much harder and an example of this is Germany in the time of Hitler. The political revenge of Putin is no different from Hitler's revenge.

Any historical document that is now declassified does not bear the truth. Therefore, it is very difficult to reconstruct the events that really happened at that time. But I have no doubt that the Russian government has committed several times the genocide against its people. I do not understand why

First of all, there was no Russian government at that time. The entire USSR, including Russia was ruled by the Communists. There was genocide against the citizens of the USSR (especially against ethnic Russians), but those were committed by the Communists. You can't blame the Russians for the crimes of the USSR.

Why Lithuania not give back to Poland city of Vilno?
What a greedy Lithuania.

Lithuania and Poland were among the countries which benefited the most from USSR winning the WW2. But even then they would like to complain about the Soviets and their behavior during the war.

After the annexation of Lithuania by Russia in 1939, 300,000 Lithuanians were deported from their homeland to Siberia only because they were Lithuanians. The small-numbered Lithuanian people were significantly reduced numerically. In the liberated houses Russian officers and officials

What about those millions of ethnic Russians who were sent to gulag during the 1930s? It was the Russians who suffered the most under the rule of Stalin. On the other hand, he favored the Muslims such as Azeris and Uzbecs.

Any historical document that is now declassified does not bear the truth. Therefore, it is very difficult to reconstruct the events that really happened at that time. But I have no doubt that the Russian government has committed several times the genocide against its people. I do not understand why

History is first and foremost a series of facts that can not be hidden, and most importantly, the fact remains a fact and does not depend on the commentary. The Russian state is an empire with many nations, and as history knows, empires collapse and this process is a historical fact.

Nowadays i believe the most aggressive country is north Korea, testing a nuclear missile in the 4th of July it is an act of war, now that Trump have the presidency of the USA who knows what will happen now :/

If you recall history, North Korea is the product of the Soviet Union. And today Russia is also on the side of the communist regime of North Korea.
If you remember the story that the Soviet Union had a hand not only to the creation of North Korea. There were a lot of socialist countries which was funded and managed by CCCP. This has led to the impoverishment of these countries and the disintegration of the USSR. I hope Russia will be no exception and will repeat the fate of the Soviet Union.

If you recall history, North Korea is the product of the Soviet Union. And today Russia is also on the side of the communist regime of North Korea.

This is also blatantly false. Trying to prevent nuclear war is not the same thing as taking sides, Alik.

In October 2006 Russia supported United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718 condemning North Korea's nuclear test.

After North Korea detonated another nuclear weapon on 25 May 2009 the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a sharp note of condemnation; The statement called the test a "violation" of previous Security Council resolutions and a "serious blow" to the nuclear nonproliferation regime. It also complained that “the latest DPRK moves are provoking an escalation of tension in Northeast Asia.”

North Korea under the third generation leader Kim Jong-Un continues to defy the international community in relation to its nuclear and rocket programme. It has recently advised foreign embassies that the North Korean government could not guarantee their safety in an event of conflict and advised the foreign embassies to reconsider their evacuation plans.

On March 2016, following the January 2016 North Korean nuclear test, Russia supported a U.N. Security Council resolution regarding the introduction of further sanctions against North Korea. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said "the Kremlin is concerned over North Korea’s statements about its readiness to use nuclear forces and urges all states to display restraint", in response to Kim Jong-un's orders to the military to deploy the nuclear warheads so they can be fired at "any moment" and be prepared to launch preemptive attacks against its enemies.

We can take into account the fact that from the actions of the Soviet Union, and from the successor to Russia, suffered the entire post-Soviet space. All the countries that were part of the Soviet Union still feel the web of adversity that breeds back in the time of Stalin's repressions.

Putin returns to Russia an imperial character that carries a potential threat to all former colonies of Russia.
