Take a look at litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Waves, Bitcoincash and Dash. These are the most trusted altcoins because they are also high in the ranking system so you would think that its safe.

Also a lot of people are using it, because if that was not it then it was really low at the market.

Interesting prediction about top 30 cryptp coins, but I think some coins are just games of big whales, how your robot to learn that information before they take actions?

If the robot works on it check the information and you don't put the manual intervention to analyze it. You will not find the best coin in the day trading. Most of the people having github trading bots but I don't think that all the application will best to set the trading value do it by own all the time.
I think BCH, BTC, ETH, ETC, NEO, RIPPLE, TENX and XMR are coins best to start invest in trading and do it.

i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?
I think CIVIC and ETHEREUM would be the safest options to invest in. Ethereum, without any doubt is one of the most popular cryptocurrency available in the market and is the master of all smart contracts. It is currently the most popular platform for hosting ICOs and features like ethereum virtual machine makes it really promising in the long run.
CIVIC is based upon the idea of identity verification with help of Blockchain technology and has alot of potential to grow in future. You can expect the price of civic to be above 1$ within 4-5 years for sure.

ACtually there are altcoins worth considering for long term. As you have said you are not chasing huge profits. I think that is a very good start, not just your not pressured to have a huge profit  , though everyone wants it, you are more likely to be relaxed and calmed if market correction happens. My biggest priority for altcoins is ETH, it has a very good platform and technology behind it that can be a worthy investment. It has also respected founder that can support what can be the future of it. Some of my other picks will be NEO, XLM and XRP. They have huge upside potential because of great vision, actual products and great team behind it.

Currently, what insure fixed growth or fixed supply altcoins from price variations is market capitalization, the more they are actors, the less it’s likely a single withdrawal from one them would result in tanking the exchange rate to 0. Something which definitely can’t be guaranteed over the course of decades (crisis typically blow up large amounts of money)

In order to get a price stable altcoin, what is required, is to modify supply according to demand (just a matter to apply https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantity_theory_of_money), that is to create more when demand increase, and create less when demand increase less. When demands drops money needs to be destroyed.

This is typically performed by Central banks in cases of states currencies, or a central authority in the case of USDT (they can go bankrupt if their banks go bankrupt).

A partial decentralized way to perform fixed exchange rate was attempted by DMC, but it only regulated growth according to exchange rate and had no destruction mechanism. On the other hand, the developer premined too much coins so it never reached it’s target supply (it is being sold 10000 times lower than the target price because it has less than $100 market capitalisation)

But I found a decentralized way to destroy money while steel rewarding miners, I mean to destroy more money for each transactions than what is actually created.

This would allow to have a safe but not for profit investment (in period of decades). But such method could be used against any exchange rates, including [small](why not)[/small] the gold standard.

i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?

Comming back about your case, there’s no completely decentralized altcoins over very long period of times which are safe. At lease as long as I wouldn’t get volunteers to help me because I’m too busy to implement anything.

I would suggest invest in altcoins that are at least in the top 20 in term of marketcap. The cryptocurrency market is unstable now, so it makes sense to invest in established coin as they are less likely to fail

It will all depend on your goal! fast profit follows ETH, slow profit follows BTC depends a lot on the design and profit of the coins. energy projects, health projects, day-to-day agility project, PC performace project, tend to stay

Ethereum or ETH is the only coin i would recommend for now.  It's more secure and more stable than other coin. Just read some thread and you can get an idea if it is true.

Here is a less ambitious and realistic altcoin investor. Just the perfect attitude in the crypto world of investments. The safest altcoin to invest in starts with Ethereum of course and then Stratis and Siacoin and Ripple. Moreover, you can also invest in Ethereum Classic, Waves, Wings, NEM, and BAT. These are established coins already. You can add some to the list. If you want safety, consider as your priority the top 20 coins.

I think it's all about timing and hype in the coin. A popular coin today could be terrible investment tomorrow, just look at TenX, OMG and a few others. However coins might get a second chance, like vertcoin. You never know just do your own research and try your luck

If you asked my opinion on the most secure altcoynam, then I would advise you to take: WAVES, ETH, NEO and STRAT. These are the coins I believe in, and it seems to me that in the long run they will give a good profit to their holders.
The safest altcoins to invest in is waves and ethereum, these are always in my lists. I agree, these will truly give a profit in the long run. Buy while its cheap and you can hold for a long term.

Up would go eg WavePay. The distribution is designed so that the price from the beginning sets new levels.
