if you are looking to invest for a short term i will suggest you invest in Waves or stratis. for a long term investment you can invest in Ripple, NEO, ETH, LTC and monero. bitcoin is also good for a long term investment but due to the current rise in price i will not advise you to invest in bitcoin now. so you can research more and select from the altcoin and invest a reasonable amount for a good Return on investment.

Top ten is considered safer in the Altcoin. To invest, it is important to know the expansion of six months. I must also bear in mind about risks, then only to invest. Only good profits can be earned by investing.

There is no "safe" crypto-currency. All of them are risky. If you want safe investment options, then you can try assets such as the United States Treasury Bonds and bullion metals such as gold. If you still insist on altcoins, then I have a few preferred ones - such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold and Monero.

Yes there is a safe one. It is the rebelliouscoin. There is no money needed to invest. So no big investers which are gambling with your money. It is cmmunity driven. The only costs are time! #rebellious at twitter or see their own topic at bitcointalk

i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?

Stability in my opinion is on the air ETH, I myself bought it for a long time, I consider it a good investment of its free media

I would recommend ETH then!
Neo seems like a good recommendation too. Has been hovering around 20+ to 30+.

I will agree here. For me stability is the best sign. Coins can rise or fall, but it happens often. Ethereum is constantly demonstrating its stability. This 2nd crypto on the market will grow further. It’s the time to exchange some of less stable alts into ETH. Monero as for me is a cool choice either.

I think you should just take the time to research and investigate for altcoin. otherwise you will never get a profit, because if you with origin buy it it is very stupid. so you have to do something and most importantly knowledge.

There is only one safe option between all those altcoin/bitcoin gamblers. That is the rebellious coin. It is not costing money. No high transfering costs. It is driven by community not by gamblers. Find them on telegram, bitcointalk, discord or twitter

a lot of people were talking trash about ethereum when it was below $300, and now it is rising again, and you all are ethereum lovers, this happens with all the cryptos, not just with ethereum.
I have been following this thread, and a lot of you have been saying that bitcoin was going to be destroyed, and now it is going up again, and you all are bitcoin lovers again.
I dont understand why you all are so desesperated for money, it is like the only thing that you appreciate on this world.

Come on! Are you serious about BTG or BTH? That is not a good advice for a novice investor. If he insists on altcoins, we can recommend him to pay attention to top-10 coinmarketcap - most of this coins will grow in long-term. Probably, there will be a few new players while time passes. But still, it would be better advice (of course, I'm not saying it's not risky. Any of this coins could drop like a hell).

ETH is safe to invest
But it is as profitable as other small altcoins
ETH's price is quite stable (in comparison to USD)

Im currently watching two to three ICO to invest into and that Social, Jibrel and Indahash. First two ICO’s are already down with their ICO pre sale and you can still have chance to buy them over the exchanger.

The main reason behind choosing all these three is their working products and services in the market. This means they are just using our money to upgrade to new versions of their products and services which will lead to greater publicity and marketing in the mean time. Tis will attract millions of investors and users obviously to avail their services and thus they will be able to give heavy price tag for our altcoin.

My major focus is social and then followed by those two coins. Social is to upgrade themselves in the month of January which means the success is not much far. So hopefully we will meet on the same boat soon. :-)

You shouldn't look much further than ethereum, other than that I would also recommend holding some litecoin and maybe some ripple. With those 3 you have very stable and secure coins that still have some room to grow a little more!

Bitcoin cash could be a good choice too buddy. Its will be existing for a long time and will totally overpower ethereum.

That is a joke, I believe. How could that be that a 3,5-month old coin could beat a coin that is highly demanded and (if we take into consideration how much ICOs are based on ethereum) in the near future it will be way more in demand cause all of this projects need eth and gas? I can't imagine that man.

Take a look at litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Waves, Bitcoincash and Dash. These are the most trusted altcoins because they are also high in the ranking system so you would think that its safe.

Also a lot of people are using it, because if that was not it then it was really low at the market.

i think litecoin, ethereum, dogecoin, waves and dash is safest altcoins to invest in and fortunately i have some amount for that coins and i think its be a good time to waiting and see the price is up again. although the market conditions is hard to predicted but for ethereum, i think the price is slowly to increase and yesterday the price is reach 0.05 btc and it will be a good moment to make buy and then waiting the other high price.

The safest altcoins are ones from the top 10 that are well established and proven at this stage.  Wink
