Actually, Ziyech is a talented player. unfortunately, he didn't have many opportunities to play either in the era of Tuchel, Potter or Lampard. maybe, if given more opportunities to play. Ziyech can show his skills, like when he did at the 2022 world cup in Qatar. They joined the league when they only have a last few seasons in their career. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema are special and outstanding with their discipline in training, diets to keep their career long like now and they are still able to play very well.

There are some young players in Saudi Professional League will learn a lot from these veteran players but I am very doubtful that two or three veteran players from Europe can improve quality of the league when they play there as well as in future. Not all young players can learn from those veteran players and with a few young players who successfully learn something from those veterans, it's not enough to bring Saudi Professional League to a higher level.

Of a truth the European based footballers that's been signed to the Saudi Arabian League are all veteran's who are nearing the end of their playing career.
That been said, that shouldn't make anyone think that the league is largely occupied by players over the ages of 30 years because there are so many young Arabian footballers in the league and other young players from other Asian countries in the league and very soon some young European based young players are gonna be joining the league

The Chinese super league officials or the governing body of sport on the country came up with a policy that discouraged players from going to the league and that's why they flopped from the transfer market. Chinese super league during their years of reign and popularity had more impact than Saudi Arabia league currently. Atleast during the Chinese super league reign they attracted young players as well as old players. I remember Oscar who was playing for Chelsea moving to China at his prime. Other players that had good years left in them move to the league but Saudi Arabia league are only attracting old players that have nothing left to prove.

The Saudis strategy is different because they have alternative motive behind signing this players. Saudi Arabia are not just signing anyhow players but those with influence and that's why they're paying this astonished amount of money. It's no longer a secret that the reason behind this is to get enough support for their world cup bid for 2030. I think they deserve it because it'll help exposed the country to the world so things can be different in those countries. It's too cages in my opinion, I know it's their culture but they should let loose a little so people can have freedom to do things they feel like doing.

In the champions league finals, every thing was perfect and well handled, there was no major news about anything that happened to visitors who came to watch the game live. Saudia Arabia are bringing attention to themselves showing that they can make big soccer players comfortable in their country, before we know it, Saudi Arabia will begin to be the location for some major soccer games and finals.

I don't know how important it is to recruit star players just to host the World Cup, because if Saudi Arabia has previously been appointed to host it means it has nothing to do with star players playing in their league. So those who are eliminated from the Champions League will enter the Saudi Champions League, how is this possible because this is a different zone while UEFA is Europe Saudi is the middle east, I don't think this will happen.

I know Arab countries have dominated European football by buying some of their giant clubs, but for competition matches it will be according to UEFA rules and each zone has its own federation.

It makes sense, Arabic states wanna dominate football and they are just doing the first steps in buying teams from Europe.

I think it would be possible for Saudis to end up with sending teams to champions league as well, that was the first thing they talked about. Not like they should be at the group stages right away, that's not the point, but have a rule that is in place, and whatever their rank is, they should be considered to be able to actually go there.

This way we would at least compare them to the teams at Europe and see them. What can be done? Well you know how premier league sends 4 teams, and then smaller nations send 3 and even smaller 2, and smaller 1, and some even do not send directly, the champions of andorra end up playing elimination games etc. Saudi should be like that, be able to reach group stages by right, but first need to play some games at elimination phase.

This doesn't make sense anymore and it seems that money talks too much here. 

How is it possible that now the Saudi league will fully control these European teams to enliven its tourist attractions? do they have no other way to expose their country? shouldn't the transfer of star players like Ronaldo and Benzema be enough to grab people's attention? there are so many questions in my head that are difficult to express. Well, whatever it is, there will be positive and negative sides for the Saudi league, I have no further comments regarding this process.

I do agree that they can't be one of the best leagues just by paying so much for old players, but at the same time that doesn't mean they won't be watched. That's the whole point isn't it?

It's not that they need to be "better" than the other leagues, they just need to be watched more, right now no other league could afford to pay players this much, which means players could leave and play in those clubs for a lot of money, all the older players knows about this and they may end up doing it, which means a lot of known names being there eventually, even if we just have small amount right now, they are famous, and in the future we may have a lot more famous people going there. All of this is so that SA league would be watched a lot more in the future.
