I don't think the scammers have exactly such purposes. They collect ether and also hold it, waiting for growth. It makes no sense for them to try to bring down the price of ether. They just want to make money on crypto like us, but they choose such a bad way.

I don't think ETH price is bleeding just because of scammer or scammer can have any effect on ETH price 
. If scammers are trying to scam money from investors by using smart contract so investors just need to avoid investing in ICO project based on ETH blockchain or they just need to check every project more carefully before investing .

Hello, You know guys most of reason why ETH falls down because of a lot of scammers used the smart contract and make a bright idea about for the future but its only fake. They always convince the investor using their good marketing strategy and once the investors are convinced so they invest their money. And once the scammers has a lot of ETH accumulated from the investors the will sell immediately so they can affect the whole market cap of ETH. What do you think?

What type of price tracker are you using? just a simple search with coinmarketcap you'll see that the whole market is falling including bitcoin and the rest of the market. ETH dropped quickly from its peak for this year except early January, starting by February it is falling sharply.And right now, it has been overtaken by XRP on its rank and its market cap lost a lot of money due to the bear market. And OP is right, there are many ICO makers that held a lot of ETH dumped accordingly.
i think that's can affect market condition when scammer dumping Ethereum market for get big profit, especially when any some project with Scam Ending, i think the developer can dump the market whn they're sell the fund from crowdsale

So, if a quick sale needs to fall in the price of all the coins. But in any case, it is necessary to fight fraud . I agree with you, scammers blasted this market as they disappointed many people's who worked for their projects. Still there are lot of good projects who pay you via tokens, however planning for longterm is always better.

Yes it's true. Scammers must be destroyed! If this problem is not fast resolved maybe the future of ETH is no longer good. Partly has a valid point and partly not! As we all know the so called crypto-dynamics the law between the supply and demand is the main cause of the price movements. if more sellers than buyers its usually affect the price for sure. So i think those scamming incidents are not the sole culprit about Ethereum price dropped! But its a complex caused!

I don't think it has any kind of relationship with the price of ETH because while they are selling, investors also have to buy it for investing in those fake ICO or whatever. So, it's less reasonable. I think ETH is being lowered just because everybody is dumping and trying to get into BTC.

While this one have the chance of affecting the ETH market, I don't see the capital those scammers have acquired easily affect the whole market because they have quite small portion but it can't be underestimated
