in my opinion the biggest problem in cryptocurrency now is scammers. they always have ways to commit fraud and we cannot avoid this because there are no institutions that can punish these scammers. and this is one of the risks we must face when entering the crypto market. but lately there is good news about IEO hopefully this will be a good solution. IEO provides a sense of security for investors.

Scammers are keep growing over time. People are so greedy and they deceive other for their own satisfaction. In order for us to protect our money, we should equip knowledge adn we should not let our guard down.
We should know what we are doing at the first place. We should double think if we find a project offering high returns in just short time of period. Scammers are so smart that they can sales talk many newbies.
That's why we should guide many newbies to crypto should not be too fast to trusting someone moreover thre're offering very fast return of investment.
Crypto is not regulated so it's hard to catch the scammer and make new scammers born everyday.

The people who got scammed should blame their selves because of their negligence. They have lack of information and that's why they believe to what the scammers said.

It's really difficult to avoid scam projects nowadays because no matter how hard you become vigilant but still some project become scam in the end like the Centra Technology project in which it was endorsed by trusted person Floyd Mayweather and successfully unlocked the token in the exchange but still it became scam in the end therefore it is not right that you will blame investors of becoming victim of scams but blame the government because it's looks like their existing regulations are useless to prevent the scammers of joining the crypto market.

Yes, a scam project kills all future projects. All images are clearly depicted as part of the negativity. What must be realized is that there are still many bounty hunters who promote them on the grounds that 'if they are not tried, they will not know the results'. I think this is still a small reason. But most people have started to be smart to distinguish which projects are scams and which are legit projects. We take the positives, with the existence of scammers, the community becomes more mature in understanding the world of crypto itself. But still, always be careful.

This is a sad reality which we cannot control as scammers are everywhere, they don't have any conscience at all, all they want to do is to scam people, they don't care if they money they are feeding their family/kids are came from bad intention, they don't care about karma or the consequence that they are doing, all they care is they wanted to have a lot of money.
Money had already controlled their mind, they are living to scam other people.
They scam just to survive, they tend to do illegal things just to provide their needs and wants. No more conscience remains in their humanity. They chose to become like that for the sake of money.
They are always keep up of what is trend, not only in ICO as long as they know where they can earn money they will make many scam project.

My guess those scam  project is from hyip ponzi scheme before just switch in ICO.
Since they know they cant earn with ponzi that anymore so they decided to switch to ICO trend .
Yes there are many ways to scam people. Of course they are using the moment of crypto awakening itself. They are too complacent with the pleasures of others.
Therefore the community or members here must be smarter in choosing projects by conducting a series of studies. They can scam you is not only by the chance but also a fool who promotes them.

Scammers and the media are the ones who are giving bitcoin a bad name to the public. Whenever a scammer scammed someone and reports it to police the name bitcoin is the one to blame even though there are scammers behind, they are binding bitcoin to scammer because it is what they are being reported by the people and the media.

Indeed, I think many people have realized that ICO investment has a huge risk, because it is prone to scams. So in my opinion, before you get into this business, you have to be prepared with all the risks that exist like being cheated because the project becomes a scam. because blaming a scammer won't help you to recover losses you suffered? It is better to realize from the beginning, and be more careful in investing in ICO projects.
Fraudulent projects will continue to exist in the middle of the crypto market, they look legitimate at the start and soon they will be destroyed in the market. That makes it very difficult for investors to distinguish between legitimate ICO/ IEO and illegitimate ones. To be an ICO/ IEO investor, then I think it's not enough for someone to only have funds as capital, but the knowledge in analysis must also be there.

Scammers are everywhere not just in crypto space and i think that its very hard to shutdown them because they always find a new trick to deceive people but avoiding them is possible. investors must learn how to spot a scam project by doing their own research, they should get smarter just like the fraudster to avoid losing their money.

Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
It is true that investors have begun to lose confidence because of a project scam that makes them hesitant to start investing and it will also make it difficult for a project to develop so that people who participate in the project will be affected, if we see that the scammer is to blame because slowly The loss of trust makes investors afraid to start investing and then does not go on with projects that affect the people who participate in them.

Indeed. Scammers are the one's to be blame because eveything should be okay in cryptocurrencies if wasn't because of scammers scaring crypto investing and other people who wanted to try to invest in crypto. It is the reason why most ICO projects are not successful and their coins don't have any good value because a lot of investors don't have any interest to join in such projects.

Talking about scammers, I believe their are in every industry and crypto industry wouldn't be an exception. The only thing we can do now is to do our research not to fall victim of such scam, there are some good projects out there with some working product, let's try to find them and not blame anyone.
Strongly agree, we are not required to blame others or anyone, and a good project is clearly out there, but for now it is very difficult to find it, even though we have researched it repeatedly, it is still difficult to find a good project.
it’s hard to find because at the very beginning the project can be very promising, but after several months of work they faced with difficulties and then we already see that the fate of the project is not as incredible as we would like to see
It is really hard to find a good project nowadays, most of them are scams. There are now only few promising projects that we can find, I keep researching and it is the reason why I keep reading many articles in order for me to find a worthy project.

If you are still investing in ICO then you are part to blame, if people will boycott and stop investing in ICO the better, let's them find a private company to invest in their project and let investor just buy it when it hit the market, so we can see if they are honest and really wants to develop their project.

We are all mad and furious about the existence of those scammers, because of them, we end up losing a lot of money and wasting a lot of time. I know they are the one to be blamed, but we also have a part on that regret, we can also be blamed most specially if we carelessly joined or traded with them. Let us keep on hoping that developments would continue to take place so that the scammers would be completely gone and we can invest peaceful without any worries about experiencing fraud.

No matter how many scammers are here in crypto space lets keep focusing on selecting good projects i belief that one way or the other we will get paid of our endurance on day, investors are getting more smart and only newbies are falling victims because they don't want to learn but its only a matter of time before scammers will have nothing left to use for deceiving people, they will surely run out of tricks

Campaigns who are turning into scams will really come out of nowhere no matter what year we're at, regardless if it's an ICO, STO, or IEO generation. It's either they'll end up as an exit scam or a dead coin not meeting any of their promises even though they had successful token offering. We can no longer trust word of mouth from famous personalities too, John mcafee endorsed an ICO scam last 2018 which is now awaiting court decision. That will tell you that you should still do your own research and not rely on news.

Sentiments and news drives a lot of what's happening in crypto and we have to play it smart and minimize our losses as much as we can.

Scammers are like pests. They damage the ecosystem and make it chaotic. Not only in cryptocurrency, but in almost all potential fields. In cryptocurrency, common scams such as fake investments, fake fundraising, fake airdrops, fake trading signals, some even openly ask for funds. Strangely, there are people who are trapped and willing to spend their money just because of a sweet promise. So it is very important to equip yourself with a variety of effective knowledge to prevent fraud.
Well, IEO on big exchanges like Binance is good enough to restore the confidence of investors who have been trapped by failed ICO.

Are you saying you've never get scammed before? not all those who get scammed are to be blame because sometimes your researches and informations won't safe you from falling victim to scam projects, its just that bounty hunters should learn to let go when there is no good bounty project to promote
