The people who got scammed should blame their selves because of their negligence. They have lack of information and that's why they believe to what the scammers said.

Talking about scammers, I believe their are in every industry and crypto industry wouldn't be an exception. The only thing we can do now is to do our research not to fall victim of such scam, there are some good projects out there with some working product, let's try to find them and not blame anyone.
Strongly agree, we are not required to blame others or anyone, and a good project is clearly out there, but for now it is very difficult to find it, even though we have researched it repeatedly, it is still difficult to find a good project.
it’s hard to find because at the very beginning the project can be very promising, but after several months of work they faced with difficulties and then we already see that the fate of the project is not as incredible as we would like to see

Detection of scammers nowadays is also sometimes difficult, they always change the way they are able to fool investors into trusting to invest in their products. even though this is very detrimental to those investors who have been deceived by the scammers' actions with products or IEO that are currently trending

Becoming a victim of scammed project start with lack of knowledge, those scammers are always around the corner which is very possible that they can trick investors easily by hiding behind the back of those good funded projects. Investors needs to learn that it will be hard for them to get anyone inside if people do their homework of researching and studying every projects that being offered.

Knowledge is the best prevention to things that you can't handle. Do your research and achieved goals that you wanted to have from this industry.

It's not just the project scammers but individuals lurking to scam everyone else. It's also about demographics and the problem with post-colonial issues. Many in Developing countries that were colonized by Americans and Europeans now have this manifesto going that their entitlement to scam others is because of what was taken from them by their colonial masters. A part of me gets the frustration that many are feeling because of what they inherited economically from these nasty Overlords, but many of these countries have become independent since then and their governments are riddled with corruption and Feudal and Archaic systems run by the Local Rich People, still enslaving a portion of their own populations, which again is causing all the scam rings to occur in Crypto. What we need to do is address the root causes of economic unrest, help people through being self-confident and empowered and also those colonial Overlords should give back what they took, well as much as they can for damages caused to generations of people and then the people wake up and use the blockchain to get rid of local corruption. Then all the scams will most likely be gone as people will be prosperous and healthy in their own countries, enjoying a decent lifestyle, good governance and no one ripping them off for their resources. Look at the miracle of Rwanda for example, how in just one generation Kigali is becoming like the new Singapore of Africa and it is one of the easiest countries now in the world to open a business in. We should all stop thinking of this us and them scenario, and start looking to the blockchain for solutions to the sick Human conditions that plague our planet. We all have to survive on this planet and feed our families, so if we thought of everyone else as our wider family, we would all stop to think and not rip each other off. Whether it's a colonial overlord or a scam ring in crypto.  Smiley

Of course scammers are to blame because there are no scammers that are protected, anyway scammers must be removed but we realize it's impossible. So the thing to do is to narrow the space for scammers to carry out their actions, then maybe by making rules on each new project that can attract more investors with lots of evidence and a truly reliable path.
When so many frauds are happening right now it is the fraudsters who should be responsible for what they do but we have seen that at this time not many fraudsters have been investigated by many people or the police

I think IEO in binance has improved the situation of the chaotic crypto world, since the ICO era the scam attacked many investors who ran away and were afraid of the crypto world, but when binance first issued IEO it was very good news for me, if it is true I hope IEO in binance is a role model for the market exchanges to also release IEO with a project that is clearly not fake.

The blame is a two way game. Blaming scammers sure that is allowed but investors who were scammed should also be blamed. Were you busy looking at the payout alone while you were supposed to also be making research and knowing more about the project you are investing in. Scammers will always be present in our everyday lives and i think it's high time we understand that and always be on the look out

As previously written, scammers are the main problem of crypto. Investor confidence has greatly diminished thanks to them. The only thing we can do is be more attentive and try not to fall for their tricks.

It will be almost impossible to filter out scammers from legit projects but there are ways. One is to confirm the identity of the people behind the project. Not all pictures of the CEO or the dev team you see are legit. I have a friend that encountered a project that is actually a scam and they used stolen pictures from other legit projects.
Stolen pictures of using stock images of models to show as team members is a common tactic. Because some bounty lovers go for such projects and know some turn scam they might go to check the website and the owners but some pictures they think that all is good and start their bounty spamming, because they are greedy to get paid and not check the team properly.

Fact is that even established team end up with exit scams. Look at the AMBIT mining ICO. The owner Beka has shutdown the site and now posting Instagram stories leaving investors who invested millions of dollars at nothing but dust in their hands.

Unfortunately, scammers are everywhere, in every part of our life. And yes, they ruined crypto market. It is so difficult to avoid scam projects, that we fall for the same trick again and again. Can we prevent scam projects? No. Can we totally get rid of them? No. The only thing that we can do is to be as much careful as possible.

Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
People who getting scammed are to be blamed than anyone because they are giving chances for the scammers to make money by their ignorance while choosing a project, don't believe on ICOs as well their project can also turns into scam.
I am not going to deny that those that lose their money to scammers share some responsibility since they are not doing their due diligence when sending their money to people that have no idea about how to make a successful project, but you cannot place all the responsibility on the victims, scammers are to blame not only for those specific losses but they are also to blame for the lack of confidence that investors have on new projects and the slow speed in which the market is recovering.

This is the chance we are holding for now to get back on good community and market. investors went out due to scam ICO. now we are having IEO, i hope this will get us up and bring the shine again.

because there is an opportunity they take advantage of. we cannot fully blame a scammer. maybe when we are in their position, we can act the same as they do. we can even do it more cruelly.
let's just say this is part of the paradigm of the crypto market movement. we must stay abreast of and enjoy this process.

Yeah.
All money went back to cash instead of just rotating here in the crypto space.
They took want BTC and ETH to be used by buying their tokens and then cashing it out to fiat.
Now, it also hurt the market of both main players and it will be like a domino effect.

But we cannot get it back, all we could do is make some move to pull another investor and teach them to not make the same mistake.

No matter how many scammers are here in crypto space lets keep focusing on selecting good projects i belief that one way or the other we will get paid of our endurance on day, investors are getting more smart and only newbies are falling victims because they don't want to learn but its only a matter of time before scammers will have nothing left to use for deceiving people, they will surely run out of tricks
