No risk worse then other sites Smiley
User friendliness... Well, it's not that bad actually. I like the clean layout. Several functions could be easier or added, but as long as the place is in beta, fine. It'll be coming, without a doubt. Besides, compared to bit-mining.co for example, scrypt.cc is two or three classes better.

In the mean time, even the winning streak on scrypt.cc is now affected by dropping coin values (thanks to Chinese banks warning coin companies to stop using their bank accounts...). In the previous two weeks or so, profit was way better then anywhere else, but it dropped now also. Better times will be coming again. For the (re)investers, people are selling cheap now, great opportunities Smiley

Looks like it, I just went back on to scrypt.cc today... the profit rates lowered quite a bit... like 40-60% ish decrease

 Cry Cry Cry

Actually we are only down about 1/3, puts us back to the more typical returns.   The returns the last two weeks were on the high side.

Just signed up here. I heard about scrypt.cc yesterday. It seems too good to be true really, but some people on this forum said it's legit. I put in 2.3 BTC at 5:00am EST this morning, and so far have been consistently getting around "0.00010571945610659331 BTC" in the balance every 10 minutes.

*Edit* So it has been giving me exactly as I calculated so far...

Pic: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22002474/profit%20so%20far.png

The site really sucks in terms of user friendliness, and overall GUI. It took me a while to realize that the money I make goes back in the balance. You'd think they would use AJAX, and have some bouncy coin or something fly up to show you got coin, or Mario bouncing on the screen... hmmm nm.

It seems to be that when you put money in you're banking on a few things:
1) People will still value crypto during your investment (most likely they will, crypto seems like the future - especially with video game / facebook generation - as they have so much trust in digital world)
2) The myriad of coins scrypt.cc is mining are still viable  (seems likely not to)
3) The price of bitcoin doesn't plummet (i have no idea)
4) Your friend doesn't sneak on and steal your stuff
5) Scrypt.cc is secure so hackers don't destroy scrypt.cc (hopefuly not)
6) Government doesn't shut it down (hopefuly not)
7 ) Natural disaster or you die (hopefuly not)
8 ) It's not a some kind of scheme (crossing fingers)

I am almost positive I logged into the site without https, and that was rather unsettling, but it seems fine now.

You should always see https:// on the login page and from then on.

As for the risks, I really don't understand why BTC plummet would be a risk, in fact we seem to make more BTC on days with big drops.

The biggest risk has been ASICs for scrypt and in fact a few weeks ago it looked like profits were sagging.   Scrypt.cc has been converting some of the GPU farm to also mine scrypt-N and scrypt-Jane and for the last couple of weeks profits have been strong.

I think there are plenty of risks you didn't list, but there is risk with everything in the bitcoin world.  I'm most concerned that the market there is small and if you have a lot there, it could take days to sell it out.   By a lot, I mean well into the MHS.   (> 10 BTC worth)  Sometimes there is many sellers jumping in front of each other, this is a great time to buy but there is always the risk I could be one of those guys someday.

I agree with rafaLon. It appears your ref earnings are not added. Compare it to this thread, probably the same thing : https://scrypt.cc/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=401

No matter what, an admin should take a look at this and do an audit on your account, so please create a ticket via the website and explain this

yeah I did it same time I was posting here.... so I hope I'll have some news soon.

You guys are probable right.
I tough I was receiving them cause I see the referrals in my deposit but it's probably not adding up to my account in fact.

Send a ticket, I think they are not counting your referrals, it happens sometimes, with the new web is going to be fixed, but now Admin must fix it manually.

Ok folks !

I've made my test for my mining daily income !
Here's the results

My conclusion are that the numbers aren't adding up even closely to the estimated daily income....

Ex:
Yesterday morning at 10:00 I was exactly at
0.00010314 in my account
63 kh/s for an estimated daily income of 0.00062183 btc
2974 kh/s as referral for an estimated daily income of 0.00137876 btc

This morning at 10:00 I am at
0.00080290 in my account
still 63 kh/s and 2975 referral kh/s

So I made
0.00080290-0.00010314= 0.00069976 btc
for the last entire day instead of the
0.00062183 + 0.00137876 = 0.00200059 btc
estimated for the daily income !

That's 35% of the estimated income !!

So either .... The whole estimated daily income system is completely screwed or my account is ?!?!

So anyone with the same results ?!?!

Any admin could help here ?

Thx

3 days no answer for ticket. not paying referral earnings, not answering at all. no info on who is owners identity, no ssl, no phone or address/name of company..
im calling this a scam right here, right now. cash out your money if u still can and run.
friendly warning

I'm getting referral earnings every 10 minutes, ssl has been in place since the day I registered over a month ago, and the company is some Brazilian one of which I forgot the name. Every issue with ref earnings in the past has been resolved, same with issues with depositing and withdrawals, no one lost or misses anything. Admin support is not optimal, nope, but I hardly doubt issues will not be resolved in the future. Effectively that leaves just the phonenumber  Tongue

You might want to try markets.cx (whoops, gone/scam), scryptcloud.com (whoops, multi confirmed scam site), bit-mining.co (whoops, several issues amongst which withdrawal and support), or cex.io (whoops, fee insanity and not there yet). Any other scrypt based site out there not mentioned is brandnew and most likely not to be trusted either. Nope, I keep my investment in Scrypt.CC up and running and growing. Will be withdrawing regularly soon instead of reinvesting 100%.

your lies are obvius. there is NO SSL  on the site, or u even dont know what ssl means. and everything else i said is true. its just a matter of time when ull get error 404 on scrypt.cc.
stop trying to lure more noobs into scam site.

There has always been SSL with scrypt.cc.   However there was another report by someone not getting a SSL connection.   I don't remember how they resolved it.   I do remember he was trying to access the site from work, he was behind a corporate firewall.   I wouldn't recommend that.

I love when people come to a forum to complain about an issue, and don't use the chat.  So, lets address this.   If you weren't getting referral earnings, you are having one of the -known- bugs that has been around for many weeks.   It's corrected with the new site that has not gone up yet, but until then, the Admin has been doing weekly manual corrections on accounts.     Maybe if you asked people on chat, where the issue has been discussed repeatedly with admin etc, you would know that.  As for Owner's indenty,  company name, address, data center address, Skype info?   Again, been shared repeatedly in chat and if asked there, people can provide you with all of that.   No SSL?   Sorry brah, I see my green lock when I am there.  It exists.   Ticket issue?  Yeah, there is the occasionally issue with tickets.

The site is what it is, its not perfect, but it will get better Soon(TM)  It has been paying out for 8 weeks, when there are issues, they get added to the new site to do list and work arounds are developed.  However, it has been a solid service, warts and all, but if you want to go "Zomg scam!  RUN" I sincerely hope you did, because people who don't take the time to persue basic information or use the site on a basic level to resolve issues , tend to be useless sources of FUD, anyways. =)

https://scrypt.cc?ref=baaTJ has SSL (also known as HTTPS), just take a look at the address bar. If you are using Google Chrome the omnibox will have a green locked lock on the left hand side. Also at least I have never had any problems with transactions(It's worth noting I'm not a power user of https://scrypt.cc?ref=baaTJ). And can you find a scrypt mining site that is more trustworthy?

Sorry about my grammar, english is not my first language.  Wink

The daily estimate is based on a very short time period. If the previous coins that were mined did exceptionally well, then the estimate will be high. It doesn't take coins into account before that, which may have been far less profitable. Basically, the estimate is too optmistic or too pessimistic, but rarely accurate Sad
I know some people have been making notes of their actual earnings. What it comes down to is a 0.6% every day over the last 5 days or so. And no, I don't keep track of numbers, but I do know payout has been quite consistent over the last days, despite bunches of coins droping in value recently. The good payouts are contributed to scrypt-jane and scrypt-n coins which are being mined next to scrypt coins. One of the huge benefits of gpu mining over asics apparently Smiley

I'm in doubt here...
My estimated daily income is far from what I am actually receiving everyday....

I'm giving it another day to verify

Am I the only one here, that the numbers from your hashrate and from the referrals aren't adding up daily with the daily estimated income ?
