If you look in dollars, now Bitcoin can start crushing again and then you can earn x2 by selling. You decide what to do, the market is not predictable, but I don’t think that the market will be able to grow on holidays, so it’s easier to sell and repurchase even lower.
I prefer to hold all the coins that I've and buy more with a few percent of savings that I've but for everyone still be careful when choosing coins, and I pray that everyone will be lucky and get lot of money in the future 
The best thing to do is hold at the moment, things are very bad in term of price at the moment so the best decision is to hold on to your altcoin and wait till price finally goes up again though it may take a whole long time but I believe when the reward comes it will be worth the wait.
I had sold 90% of my portfolio but after few months I bought back because they dropped much and I thought these prices are dip but they were not dip unfortunately and I lost money but I'm happy for selling from very high and buy again them from lower price.
Currently not selling any altcoin of mine because there is not point in selling at this dump. It would only account to your loss and I know some people would say cut the losses at this dump. I think now you can sell half of the tokens if you have a long time in the transaction , and it will be possible to re-buy a little lower, as we will still fall in this market

it all depends on the conditions, but in my opinion at this time it's better to do HOLD than exchange it for USD because I'm sure there will be an increase at the beginning of next year even though it's not too much but at least better than exchanging it now.
Sell all the kind of weak Alts You have and buy the Cheap Top Altcoins after a good study on them. Lots of Alts will die at the end of next year if this red market continues. A very good study of the Project is highly important when Investing on Alts.
