How long will I continue to hodl my shitcoin that's what keeps running through my mind each time I opened my portfolio. If it turns out that all my tokens are shitcoin finally, am not selling it for peanuts either.
I will keep hodling and acquiring more of altcoin, with hope that someday the bull run will come

I will sell only altcoin not potential for holding in long term and always support with new coin for investing, I not faced panic time when you ask me to sell my altcoin assets because I know which one altcoin have to sell, if I invest with top altcoin on coinmarketcap I never worry although many investor ask me to sell and keep holding until price back to expensive.

You summed it all in this thread, I seldom look in the announcement thread anymore to see what's coins are hot now, and also stop checking to see the bounty campaign if there's a good bounty going on right now, but all are just hype, surprised to see that so many bounties are having 4 to 10 months run, hoping to get funded, investors are more looking on the coins in the market, than a new coin which cannot guaranty a good place in the market.
almost all of the new coins are junk, you can see lots of shitcoins being born from new projects and only a few of them survive because they already have an exchange even though the sale price is not feasible. it's better to invest with coins that are already established or already in the top 10 in the market.

Agree with that, its good to think realistic when investing in crypto as its really true this is a high risk investment. A lo tot of people failed already because this is not for them, let's just make a simple explanation like that.
this is a game for the smart people who are willing to take high risk and high reward possibility, if we can survive here, that means we fully understand the market and we employed the right approach.

selling altcoin now is like selling for a loss, you can redefine what I mean. considering that the market hasn't fully improved, it's better to renew your portfolio with top altcoin. I think now is the right time to add to the top altcoin collection and be patient and wait until the market really improves.
I strongly agree with you that generally selling off all altcoins right now as suggested on this thread isn't the best idea since you will sell at loss most likely. For example, I've been holding XLM and today the price went up considerably due to burn announcement. There is always a time for a good coin, just hold if price is bad. I'm not saying it's good to hold all altcoins, we ought to do research.

but think back to the potential altcoin that you will hold, because it says only hold it Without knowing its potential I think it will be bad. it's better to change investments in other altcoins with more potential

Thats true, if you sell your altcoins at this moment wherein the price is not acceptable to sell its like wasting the time you waited for the price to increase. There's a well-established alts that are good to hold and currently has a cheap price, instead of wondering when will bull run going to happen take advantage this bearish trend.
Only weak investors will be tempted to sell due to lack of patience and trust to the coins they are holding. Well its not surprising especially if they bought their coins without proper knowledge and understanding.

this is bad idea selling our assef just for recover our frustation.when we sell and hold the money with small amount i am sure we feel regret and want to rebuy again.it still have possibility to recover its value when market recovered,we just need to be patient till this moment coming.when we decided to invest our money ofcourse we understand the risk that may occur when market crashing.cut loss could working good if we loss less tha 20%. There are several altcoins that I have, not that I hold back, but I can't find the market and can't be sold. Indeed, altcoin is now trashy and useless. But not all altcoins are like that. ETH is still very popular, I have used ETH for the purposes of paying for the domain I bought, and it is very useful. The only frustrating thing is because the market conditions are not possible and the dominance of BTC is still strong. If we are able to go through this, I think we will get the results.
This is the common problem we have right now, we have the coin but we have no market to sell them. Most of them are from bounty campaigns and airdrops which turns out to be a scam project, and those shitcoins were stock in our wallets.ETH is different from those shitcoins, eth is promising and we can really see that it is a good investment and has a future. The demand for eth is still increasing and still dominant to other altcoins.

not a bad idea to sell junk tokens while they still have prices and turn them into btc granules. but for me personally it doesn't always have to be that way, if you have potential altcoin and the team is still active in developing projects, it's better to keep holding on for a while or at least until they have a good sale price, but if it doesn't have more price development further, then immediately sell.

No one can't tell what will happen in the future of every token we have even btc that we hodl, don't be so panic and frustrate to every news or any thing can cause of panic selling. The better we do is be more observer in the market manage well our assets and don't be so panic. It's up to every person if they need sell all and buy btc as you can see the price fluctuation, think many times before do any step.
While it is true that no one can tell you exactly what it is going to happen to every coin we can make an educated guess, and while coins like bitcoin and ethereum will eventually surpass their all time high we can safely conclude as well that most coins currently in the market will at some point disappear, this is not something you may want to hear but it is the truth and the sooner you accept it then it will become easier to take the right decisions regarding whatever altcoins you may be holding. Each coin has got its capabilities and not all the numerous altcoins on the market will certainly survive the crypto race. This means that not all altcoins can be held for long term hence it becomes very imperative to sell some for other promising altcoins. All these can be ascertained through the performance of extensive research on the coins in question.

It's true some of this final altcoin feels annoying and makes us lose. Every day a new project is emerging that can be perceived as the one without having any innovations and benefits that make the altcoin dominant too much.
Investors also end up not taking altcoins or ICOs to invest because of their risks. So many people are more dominant in Bitcoin for the long term.
But if it is already happening in such a way all the portfolio is dropped and many losses immediately loose and sell all your assets better haha

I just take it a as very long term investment, better than crying over it. At fist I was always having thoughts about these coins, now not anymore.
If you are losing in investing then it is your fault because you bought too many shitcoins. If you are going to be investing for long term holding then you should not buy shitcoins because they are only good for traders who want to buy them low and sell them high for a quick profit and not a long term investment since they don't have any value in the market.
