That's a choice you have to make independently after looking into both coins and analyzing each of them, decide whether they go well with your investment plans as bot of them are good coin, id personally settle for BTC though
Choose the obvious and certainly has future great results. bitcoin is the best choice for investment. litecoin indeed be good crypto because its appearance is closing from lack of bitcoin. but in the system and the potential of the bitcoin can never be replaced and will continue to grow to be bigger than ever before.
I see Litecoin only suitable for short-term investment or day trading. I hope you can be patient with your long-term Bitcoin plan.

BTC without a doubt, it's because BTC have brighter future than LTC, i don't think that LTC will beat BTC in the near FUture, BTC will keepand maintain its position at the top for a long time, BTC is the mother of all altcoins, so buy BTC

litecoin is only following bitcoin and no more. Any development of litecoin will be related to the development of BIP and this has already proven in so many times if litecoin is pegged with the bitcoin. as you can see that how the litecoin price will be declining if there will be no any update about that

it is the right decision to buy at both. because both crypto money can be invested to make big profits. especially because of the low price for investment in litecoin. because the price of bitcoin is relatively high.
