Well I don't think RIPPLE is a shitcoin. I think ripple will give a good growth! The company has a strong team. A serious company has a serious infrastructure. The coin has one of the highest capitalization among cryptocurrencies. Now the coin has dropped in price and that's not scary at all. Situation will change soon and ripple will grow high.

there is no doubt that ripple is one of the potential coins included in the top coin rankings, it's just because there are so many new coins that the ripple enthusiasts are reduced and I think this will continue which makes the ripple difficult to recover to a good price. so I suggest choosing another altcoin

Ripple is a very good and a long term coin. But There are many other different altcoins on the market. I think ripple is only speculative altcoin and nothing more.

Ripple is somewhat centralized, by the Ripple company, it cans till be implemented into a diversified portfolio. One thing that centralization does for Ripple is it makes it quicker as there's no 'Proof of work' as bitcoin requires for processing. So there is some support for it being efficient. Though, in time bitcoin may utilize technologies and evolve to be faster and more efficient.As much as I strive to be an objective unemotional investor I sometimes feel the need to support decentralization as a 'movement. I will still invest a little in Ripple as a hedge and hopefully it will be profitable, but I will not support it.
