Well if you sell them straight away you'll get a little money for every token. If you hold most of your tokens will be worthless but you have the chance that one of them will do really well. Maybe do a bit of both. Sell the tokens you have zero confidence in and keep the ones that perhaps some day might be worth something.

If you do not have an urgent need for money, do not. Well, at least it's all so certain. I only sell 40% of the goods if necessary. The rest I hold until their course rises at least 100% of the initial value.

In my opinion, it is a really hard thing to make a decision between holding and selling the airdrop coins. I think it is really important to follow the news about the coin. Also I think the team's announcements are so important to make a good choice.

I think airdropped coins are unnaturally getting higher values nowadays, I think it's better to sell them if they have high value and are already listed for more than a week.

Hello,
Yesterday I saw some increase in my total estimated token value, and today it dropped significantly.
It appears that a lot of people are selling their airdropped tokens as soon as they get them.
I have not sold a single token from airdrops, and with the exception of some them, they seem to be mostly losing value in time.
Should I do the same or hodl hoping that some of them may increase in value, closing the gap I lose in the process?

You have nothing to lose selling them when they hit the market, but if the project is a good one and they are very serious in their roadmap, why not hold them I saw some airdrops that does had a value like eltcoin and ebitcoin and some other coins.

It depends on you and the altcoins you have heard from airdrop.
If the altcoins platform you've got is good. It is better to hold it first and if you do not see any change you will be there to sell.

I try to hold onto my coins. After all it’s free money. Most of the coins that you receive during an airdrop are not worth a lot after they hit exchanges and you never know if it may not increase heavily during the months to come. So I rather risk that it’s a shitcoin than miss out on a good opportunity for the future. This is even more the case if I really believe in a project.

I think it's better to immediately sell them to those coins that you believe in. 95% of all tokens fall to zero in a year. This is statistics.

I would advise you not to rush to airdrop. Because tokens most likely will not cost anything, and in a year or so, you will have a very, very good opportunity to sell them for a very good price. So just forget about them for a while

before we sell it we just need to research the coin its self
if we trust that coin will bigger after few month so why not we hold that?

and if we not trust that coin will success i think the best action is sell it as fast as u can
before the coin is less price Smiley

Sell or Hold for good price depends how good the project good. I think if you getting good price after getting the airdrop coins you should sell. And if you want to hold the coin for good profit , you have to look and research about the project completely like how the developer team, their roadmap , white paper. And check that the coin will solve the problems or not for that purpose it created. So its depends on you what you want from that coin, either exit at little gain or wait for good gain.

you dont know the future of your airdrop coins...so i suggest you sell it quickly...many of airdrop coins only have higher price in beginning...its very little chance to wait them in high price in future or worse things are it will worthless or being delisted

I mostly hold my airdrop coins / tokens , most of the time it's not even worth the time selling directly after the airdrop distribution is over.
It also depends if the announcement looks professional or not that decides if i directly sell the airdrop.

I have some tokens that are worth some ETH now, like EXRN. However, I am not sure if I sell them since they are saying there will be an airdrop for people who kept their tokens and did not move them.

if you can afford not to sell tokens from airdrops, then dont sell them. I have a specific eth address just for the airdrops and bounties. A lot of times happens that after 3 months those coins are worth the same as the day of airdrop, but several times those coins after 3 months were worthy a lot.

If you believe in the token/coin you got airdropped: HODL
If you think it's crap and may lose it's value: Sell

I guess thats what to do Cheesy

Sounds simple enough. Grin

Really hard to say otherwise - not knowing the context.

hold, if the price of the coin or the airdrop token is very low at the beginning, but usually, the airdrop coins is mostly Shit token or coin.

Yeah I totally hold with the above guy's Em00n01's quote "My suggestion is to sell 80% of your airdrop coin when the price goes up. If you have enough time, you can follow their telegram group for latest development news. This will help you to choose either you should sell all of your coins or wait for a big pump."

Exactly. Although I might alter that to 60-70% as I'm always a sucker for a long term hodl, and depending on the potential chance I think the project has to get big in the future. Occasionally pretty credible projects do include an airdrop at some point in the launch cycle, and so if you're lucky enough to be part of that then I think it would be wise to keep a small chunk to hedge against a big explosion in the future. I think Polymath were offering an airdrop, and they seem pretty credible in many respects, so that would be an example of one I might hang on to a chunk of.

Then again I got a big wedge of Bitcoin Candy the other day which was a hard fork from Bitcoin Cash and I liquidated the lot immediately for $30 worth of ETH, and chucked that straight into DRGN instead. I'd recommend putting it into a good coin which is in a dip, rather than selling out into Fiat of course.

Yeah, it is a good idea to sell some of it, but keep at least 20 percent in case it gets very valuable.

This question is difficult. If you do not like it, you can sell it. We can not force others to do what we want
