I think the ICO market is in great need of legal supervision because I think this year's bear market is caused by ICO fraudsters! They have caused countless investors to lose their property!

ICOs market brings a lot of chaos in the crypto currencies industry. There are too many projects that are simply fraud and that are trying to scam people here. We need some kind of a regulation to protect ourselves from such ICOs.

indeed it is a good idea to reduce the level of the ico project that is scam, but maybe no one will be able to be part of the responsible body, because the responsibility is very large and also when there are still scams of ico projects they have to return investment money from investors who invest in the scam project, according to me it will require a lot of capital.

I agree.  The body that should regulate ICO is undoubtedly needed, only there are fears that such bodies will tighten the nuts so that it will not be beneficial at all!

This will be a good regulation if it can be realized. investors need to comfort and freedom to invest with what makes them interested and of course, they need protection for it. of course everyone knows that a lot of investors getting a little fear in selecting ICO naturally because it is caused by the scam that is quite a lot going on on the field of crypto.

On the same G20 decided to regulate CryptoWorld. This also affected ICO. Many countries have already tightened the conditions for the ICO. And I think that's right.

I strongly agree, investors should be protected, because without the crypto investor not going to live, investor trust in crypto must continue to be maintained, where when the system can be used, it looks like investors will feel happy and relieved, not afraid of being exposed to fraud again

I feel Ico's should be regulated for the safety of it's investors as many Ico's have turned scam, I feel this has severely dented investors confidence in the crypto market. I would like to see a separate body formed for the regulations of Ico's, and one whose rules apply to all countries otherwise it would be difficult to prosecute an Ico's owner. It'll be interesting going ahead to see who's the regulator, and under which regulations can the Ico's owners be prosecuted.

I also think in the future, as the popularity of blockchain technologies increases, security from scammers will increase. And it will be safer to invest in ICO.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
At least the rate of scam will reduce when there is a process to audit ico team/founders, i agree with your recommendations, it will return the trust of investors as well.
There's ICO platform that do such thing aswell providing their platform to regulate another ICO that want to held an ICO through that website, things works the same way but people are still investing directly into the ICO anyway, people are just too wild to be told to take the safest way.

The risk of failure during an ICO for their teams will always be, and no one is responsible for the risk in business. I mean, if the ICO teams do not collect the minimum funds, then just like now, they will simply return the money received from them to investors, and the bounty hunters will again not receive reimbursement for their work. Although there may be cases when ICO teams may require that certain amounts be deposited in the bank before holding an ICO and they can be used to pay for bounty hunters, even if the ICO project is unsuccessful. This will depend on the specific laws in each state. If the ICO teams cheat, then in this case they will have to bear responsibility - both material and criminal.

In Japan, at the moment, the rules for ICO are toughening. Now each project will need to be registered and it will be official and legal.

Of course, I know that many people do not want to hear about regulations, but this free market is more and more dangerous for investors, more and more scams are created to get quick money. Is that right?

Yes, and not just stop there, many ICO projects are now phishing, which is reported to be more than 70% and probably more in the future, which is dangerous. This is something I do not expect to happen, but it may or may not reflect the ICO rules and plans Cry.

I think the usual old proven methods to regulate the crypto industry will not succeed. Here, the best solution would be the implementation of a new token standard specifically designed for providing  tokensales and ICOs. As far as I know, the Ethereum developers are already working on them.

I really hope someday ICO will be regulated just like IPO. If ICO gets regulated, that's mean investors get more confident to invest because they know they get protected by government or finance institution. And it's also to avoid scam project. And from what I read, Singapore wanna to regulated ICO. I hope it's true.

You answered your question yourself, its for the protection from scammers.

The nature of cryptocurrency however being p2p is decentralized which is going to be making it difficult, they can control the company/team that will be doing ICO but the currency itself may not be controlled due to volatility just as how BTC or ETH is.
ico Regulation is needed for developer when they want launch ico project, and they're needed some POD to verifying them in ico
