Hello everyone.
I want to buy some coin and hold it for at least 1 year. What should I invest on, ripple or litecoin ?
My advice to you, wait for the market to be in the side and then you can buy, I think both coins can give good money when the next bullish trend begins

Of course I would choose XRP. It can be said that XRP is the best altcoin of 2018 when its price is always maintained and now it is ranked second in the coinmarket. LTC can not compare to XRP right now

If you read the white paper of these two projects, it becomes clear that the most interesting project for a long-term investment is Ripple because of its practical application and the already built model of development in the market.

These are both good coins. Diversify your risks, buy both. There are five coins in my portfolio and I don’t think to stop buying.

I think these two coins are good to invest, but if I only pick one of them to invest maybe I pick ripple it's a potential altcoin.

If I had to choose, I would just like you - a ripple, this project seems to me a lot more advanced technological, and has far more partners than litecoin.

If you have the money go for both, ripple is a badass coin and with very brighter future, can't go wrong my friend and litecoin on the other hand is a sleeping dragon ,its a must for every holder and investors, but for the one year part I think its way to nearer ,I'm think 2-3 years from now ,if you want a year investment for go btc

1 year is a long time, if you really want to invest in crypto and preservation, then Bitcoin is your only choice. Because the price of the altcoin is very unstable, it is easy to collapse.

Those are a good choice but according to current market Ripple doing great than Litecoin. So, maybe you could choose Ripple for big investment and a small investment for Litecoin. Don't invest your money into only one coin.

I like litecoin for investment, very good technology and a great team of developers and do not forget that it is digital silver.

Are you sure for a period of 1 year? I think the term is quite long, but if it's a unanimous decision for you, it doesn't matter. means you want to get a delayed profit, I think these two coins are as good and have the same opportunities in the future. even ripples are currently ranked second, but if you have a lot of capital, you better invest both.
I agree that choosing a term of 1 year is not correct. you have to constantly monitor the market. Ripple grows quickly and falls the same. you need to be very fast to sell in time. The same thing about Litecoin

Of course, I love to help the poor and the crippled, but why in such freaks to invest? You do not have enough offers in the market? Now the whole industry is at its bottom. Buy anything you want except these projects.

I have more trust in Ripple as compare to Litecoin. Ripple has strong supporting community base and Ripple dev is also quite active. Ripple is now no 1 altcoin in terms of market capitalisation. Ripple would be a good choice to hold for 1 year.

Before I invest in any coin, I usually do some kind of research based on what I want or what my target is per time.
Also my financial position at the time if investment determines to a large extent what coin to consider investing into.
In this case of litecoin and ripple, both coins are a good long term hold investment.
That narrows it down to your capital.
If you have but a little capital......go for ripple.

I see these shortcomings again. Good that you are here Ethereum did not finish. These two projects it is difficult even to attribute to the assets for investment. The first is not a cryptocurrency, and the second is a simple parasite that appeared on the body of Bitcoin.

If we consider these two projects, the money for investment I divided as follows 30/70. 70% I would invest in Ripple, because of its innovation and competitiveness, and 30% in Litecoin, purely because of your desire.

One year can be attributed to the short-term/medium-term investment in view of which it is not possible to fundamentally consider the project here, you need to look at their road map and assess the level of innovations that they want to introduce this year.

In modern conditions, we cannot be sure in Bitcoin-based coins, because BTC itself is not stable enough. In the same time, ERC20 seem even more hopeless for me.

It is indeed risky to jump into a muddy water, but it seems taking the risk will most likely be profitable once the bullrun starts again. What I mean to say is we already have experienced some bullrun in the past so we should be expecting another of it in the future.
