... ie Yobit takes coins who give them coins to giveaway free.

notsofast is in contact with Yobit. As soon as Yobit is going to add 611 (SixEleven) to the list of tradable coins I'm going to generate Yobicodes to distribute some SIL for free to make it easier for newbies to play with or to use the dns cloud features of 611.

=> Meanwhile no one has to wait to use 611. Any user of this forum can claim some SIL for free. Just write me a PM. Smiley

and can we finally go to some exchange or whats the plan now?!
Can you recommend an exchange supporting altcoins?
The majority of exchanges out there seem to focus on BTC only Huh
Sure. Ie C-CEX

UPDATE: You can vote or donate for SixEleven on C-CEX since yesterday.

Hey crypto currency freaks,

in order to increase the stability and diversification of the public 611 (SixEleven) DNS service, I would suggest adding additional second level domains providing the public 611 (SixEleven) blockchain information via dns.  Cool

Call for discussion
In addition to 611.to do you think we should register additional second level domains to provide the blockchain information using additional content delivery resources?

Should we start fundraising for buying special (ultra short) domain ressources?

LIMITED FREE COINS
Furthermore I'm offering free 10 SIL coins on a limited (first come first serve availability) basis once to any bitcointalk.org user. These coins are fresh merge-mined using http://p2pool.611.to. To claim just write me a PM with your SIL address.

Have fun and take care,
-Patrick

guys why cant we have exchange?
dev this coin is way better than many.

whats stopping us?

The pre-mine. No exchange worth their salt will add a heavily pre-mined coin - especially one over 50%.

Unless they are paid to, of course. But it will cost.

ok so PatrickMacH why dont u offer most of your premine to exchange? ie Yobit takes coins who give them coins to giveaway free. you would have to use that premine for it.

Sure. As discussed I'm going to support this step if it helps to push the intended purpose of this project.
Do you have a contact of Yobit to discuss the details of the deal? Smiley

Hey guys,

I've submitted SIL for potential listing at SafeCex, a new cryptocurrency exchange that aggregates multiple exchanges' orderbooks for their coins.

https://safecex.com/coin/add?q=sil

Please go and vote for it if you're interested in seeing SIL on an exchange!

have you received any feedback from an exchange so far?

I haven't heard back regarding the free listing I requested at Yobit. I don't know if they checked it at all or what. But they don't usually list a highly-premined coin for free, is what I'm hearing, unless many different people request it.

There's still only two votes for SIL to be included for listing at SafeCex. They prioritize PoW coins, though. So maybe a Twitter giveaway campaign would help it get more votes.

Yes - that's a great idea.
How about giveaway 1 SIL for every post on Twitter (and/or Facebook) for the first 10.000 posts.
Everyone setting up a (live connected) name object under 611 can claim additional 10 SIL up to 10.000 SIL which should mean lifetime free updates and/or object renewals.

I'm willing to fund the SIL if you can setup a c00l giveaway campaign. Cool

Thanks for the new release! I was really missing the getmininginfo command.

EDIT: Can confirm RC-1 works as intended.

That's fine! Thanks for your feedback.

Really that sounds intresting. Good going guys
Cool Cool Update: Based on your feedback 611 (SixEleven) release candidate 1 has been released!  Cool Cool

Hint: 611-rc1 adds additional support to merge mining and pool mining applications; in detail: "getmininginfo" and "submitblock". Let me know if you're missing a feature needed for mining support.

We are still missing a c00l w3bs1t3 introducing 611 (SixEleven) to newbies. Let me know if you like to create and design a page for this project!

No feedback since a few days. Are you all happy with the latest 611-rc1 and the 611 domain name service? Grin

Update: In order to get push the difficulty level up to 35084923.872 - like we had the peak a few days ago - you need a constant hashing power of about 500 TH/s!
Overall Bitcoin hashing power is about 775,863 TH/s at the moment which means that someone has added roughly 1/1000 of the overall Bitcoin hashing power to 611 (SixEleven). Shocked

Sure. Ie C-CEX
How many of you guys are using c-cex.com?
On request adding 611 (SixEleven) I got the following reply:
Hello. We have 2 options:
1) You can add the coin on the voting page - https://c-cex.com/?id=vote . We will surely consider adding it if it gets enough votes and the community shows enough interest.
2) We can list a coin or asset for 1.5 BTC immediately.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Thanks!

Maybe we can reduce the payment in BTC if you also request adding 611 using your c-cex.com account to enhance the demand.
