You always run the risk of falling for a scam. Look at the team and pay attention to the bounty manager. On this depends, quality project or not
No, you are wrong.
You forget bounty manager can be other people not from the devs team, example Sylon, he is one of trusted bounty manager but sometimes, he still has some problem in his campaign about the reward.
Bounty manager and devs team are not related Wink.

I don't think that a common people can judge by the whitepaper, i recommend to check the investor and the platform. For example, the projects run in the NEO system seems to have a  good profit if you overview the price of those ICO. Grin Grin

I believe everything in the internet can be copied like white papers, websites, team of developers and staff and advisors etc. There's a lot of good artists in the internet that they could make a Cryptocurrency website  that is to good to be true.
I suggest to check their Telegram channel because an ICO has no telegram channel or any social community are losers and would definitely will  not be able to reach their goals like capitals and attract investors.
These ICOs and coins are in a very clear state that they are scam

Cool! Very good idea. The more people focus on the coin, the higher the coin fly after it list on the exchange! Attention to the bots, look at the meaningful message in the telegram group!    Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
To know if ICO is scam if there are very convincing to participate to them and many promising can happen when you joined to them. And since there so many new ICO show up, its really difficult to know who is real or who is not, so you need to do is read first there white paper.
Can you put all your faith by the promise words in white paper? For me, I don't have enough brave to do that, because I don't trust anyone through some beautiful words, it's the skills of the scammer and you can get scam from these people easy.

So many new ICO, and they all have new idea and tech listed on their webpages,

and even the websites use the same template...

but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...

You don't need to check every ICO whether it's a scam because you just don't have money to invest in all of them. Just take a list of the projects you like and make a deep research of each of them. It will work for sure. But note, it still risky even if the team are not scammers

Recommended before joined in ICO its good to read whitepaper, check it the team, and should have an escrow
if its not clear about the project like no whitepaper, the team and an escrow. please don't joined.

now a lot of projects and fraud, I am confused to see all this, but for ICO you should see all the information and uniqueness of the project. if it's already utung out soon

You always cannot rely on the uniqueness of the project because anyone today could fantasize all kinds of things and projects you can ever think of.
A good ICO is building their own community like Telegram Channel where active members could discuss a lot of things and stuff regarding ICO events and developments.
This kind of spoting good ICOs is very effective than spending time on research.

90 % of startups are failing. Check out the team and the concept. pls be aware of hypes, if the projects sound too great with a lot of promises but without an MVP such project most likely will fail. and always check the  road map and road map applicable or not before investment.

That's why I never trust any ICOs that were only introduced in this forum especially when the announcement and bounty campaigns were managed by the Newbies or Junior Members because most of them were just joining this forum to scam other members.
I believe God ICOs have no funding problems because they should be able to promote their ICO y hiring a good bounty campaign managers who are already have higher rank like Hero or Legendary Members.

Unfortunately, I probably have nothing to say, except that no one will ever be able to tell you exactly whether this or another project will be popular and whether the project will be successful. Unfortunately, we are now confronted with the problem of deceiving people, they are conducting ICO, but then simply disappear, investors should be smarter.

Spotting good ICOs are painful in the ass so you'll need to spend more time for research which those aren't scams and fraud.
In my own opinion one of the most effective way to spot good ICOs is through their Telegram channel community because good ICO or coin have good telegram channel especially when there are more active members you'll be able to see their discussions, announcements and other related or not related topics.
Telegram channel cannot be purge because most of the channel members are real people.

Scam projects will often make bold claims about their product even though said project offers nothing new or disruptive. It’s not likely that a certain blockchain platform or cryptocurrency will end poverty, fix global warming or replace the internet.

Speaking of scam, there's one which is called Benebit. They are primarily focused on customer loyalty thing, and they've been around for a while. However, due that it was discovered that the pictures of the team were actually stolen from a school's website. As a result, the entire team (which they originally based in India per their claim in Telegram) are running away with the money of the poor investors.

Not all ICOs are legit, but not all are scam either. If you want to know if that ICO is scam or not, don't just believe by looking at the team members. Try to check if they had actual videos from themselves promoting their ICO, or they are present in such cryptocurrency events.

For the analysis of ICO projects services such as Icodrops are well suited that expose the rating of projects.
Of course, you need to carefully study Whitepaper, the development team, and become familiar with the activity in social networks.
Particular attention should be given to the objectives of the project and their usefulness for people.

To select an ICO project that is not fraudulent, you need to review all available information about this ICO and its team. However, nothing will give one hundred percent success. There are also good projects that do not achieve their goals. Therefore, there will be a certain degree of risk of investing in the ICO.
