I would just like to add that Namecheap do not support faucets on shared servers only dedicated hosting.

I read some articles about people breaking the ToS using namecheap hosting so as part of my research into hosting I contacted them for clarification.

To save you all some time here is the chat log.

NameCheap Support:Hello! Thank you for contacting our Live Chat Support!
12:20 thefreebitcoinfaucet:hi
12:21 thefreebitcoinfaucet:i have read that in the past 2016 namecheap banned someone for using a faucet on their hosting. It was incorrectly labelled as bitcoin mining.
12:22 thefreebitcoinfaucet:I want to make sure that if i choose to buy hosting with namecheap it will not consider a faucet to be against the ToS
12:23NameCheap Support:Could you tell me what hosting plan you want to choose?
12:24 thefreebitcoinfaucet:just the value plan to start off with
12:26NameCheap Support:Please allow me 5-7 minutes.
12:32NameCheap Support:Unfortunately, it can be hosted on our shared hosting servers. You can choose one of our dedicated servers and host it there.
12:32 thefreebitcoinfaucet:could you explain to me why? Smiley
12:37NameCheap Support:It can consume a lot of server's resources and banwith.
12:38 thefreebitcoinfaucet:okay thanks for the help. I can get hosting for a faucet for $2 a month, so there is no way i am going to buy a dedicated server for $45 a month.

This article have lot of useful information for people who want to start their faucet. But,since the last update, some things have changed and it would be nice to update it.
Also, I think this thread may be sticked on Micro Earnings board.

Referral Rotators* - http://ifaucet.net/
I believe this to be the most ethical method of earning extra bitcoins from your users. Certain rotators (such as ifaucet) allow you to input referral links to earn the referral earnings from the faucets your referrals visit. This allows users of your faucet to earn more from other faucets, while you earn referral commission without linking hundreds of faucets at a time.

What does this mean?

In my opinion Mellow ads, A-ads and Bitmedia.io are the only good ones, bitmedia only if you have high click count, mellow ads being the best of all.

If you know any other bitcoin ad network that pays as well as Mellow ads please, reply with the name of the ad network.

Great guide and work. A section about avoiding bots would likely be helpful too... the different options and all that.

It's a very nice way to get into website programming. You will need to learn a programming language but seeing how this works can make you exciting to learn more.
Like it did with me.

Here is a xapo faucet script to add to the list up top instead of the developers URL  https://github.com/destinybogan/Faucet-Builder

Please message me if you decide to make a xapo faucet so i can list you on the sites in my signature.

And what about profit from faucet? ~after one month?

If the faucet will run on free hosting + free domain

Faucet info:

250 satoshi up to 25.000 satoshi per 5 minute claim.

Tons of adds with high pay rates.
It's close to impossible to say without having more information. To get an estimate you would need to have your faucet running for a little while so you can get average advertisement and payout stats. You could then just get the average amount you pay out daily and subtract the amount you get back from ads per day from that number.
Since you're running on free hosting and domains everything you get back will be profit, so the number you get back will just be the amount of profit given per day. You could then just times that by 7, 30 or 365 to get the profit per week, month and year respectively.

If this is a plan for a faucet, there is no way to know how it will go until you start running it. As I said in the OP, it's completely okay to change your faucet if the payout rates aren't working or it is costing you too much.
It's possible to earn 1 bitcoin in month if the payout rate will be 50 satoshi per 5 minutes / 600 satoshi per hour or not?
I have more questions about faucet, could i contact you via PM?

Man take calculator in your hand and do calculation the calculator will tell you the answer that you can earn 1 bitcoin/month or not .

Let's say you have 10k unique impressions daily and ~2k unique clicks per day
So CPC is around BTC30000000 satoshi ( 0.3 BTC daily from CPC - 15k satoshi per click ) // It could be more if you have AdSense
+ around 0.015 BTC from CPM ( 0.0015 BTC CPM x10 )
if you have popup ads on your faucet it's about 0.06 BTC daily ( 2.5 $ cpm )

And if you have also direct ads for sale = 10 x 125x125 banner = ~60$ each banner per month = 600$ per month only from 10 banners
600$ = ~1.4 BTC

CPC (0.3 BTC x 30 = 9 BTC / month)
CPM (0.015 BTC x 30 = 0.45 BTC / month)
POP UP (0.06 BTC x 30 = 1.8 BTC / month)
DIRECT ( 10x 0.14 BTC = 1.4 BTC / month)
--
ALL ( 9+0.45+1.8+1.4 = 12.65 BTC / month )
--
1000 satoshi per hour ( 15 minutes = 250 satoshi = 4x 250 satoshi ) = 10000 x 1000 = 10000000 satoshi per hour ( 0.1 BTC )
So you pay around 0.1 BTC per hour
If you pay max 0.15 BTC daily it's around 4.5 BTC per month you have still 8.15 BTC in your wallet Smiley

Lol that is good amount ( profit )

earning depends on no of visitors and clicks per day you receive from visitors.
50 satoshi per 5 minutes doesn't sound good but if you increase claim time up to 1 hour and keep reward @ 600 sat then more people visit your faucet and more you earn .
