I feel there is nothing wrong with this because with the emergence of business trends on social media, it has helped the economy of many people. I have a neighbor who managed to buy a house because of doing business through social media, this shows that the positive impact is really extraordinary.

Business is also a part of social life, I don't see how it's wrong to have it in social media. Most social media allow you to curate what to see, I personally don't have commercial content in my news feeds.

It's only natural for this to happen. People would always find way to use technology to earn money, whether it be the telegram, telephone or the internet. Social media is actually perfect for this because it allows you to advertise or do business within any given social circle.
I would prefer it though for businesses and their staff to use a separate business account. The last thing I want is to be bombarded by ad posts by friends.

The answer here is very simple, because can you do a business where there is no crowd? The answer is No.. and social media has now been the place with the most crowd and best place to showcase ones business in this present day life. So for me, social media still remains the place for socialization, but one can not survive only by just socializing, and that's where business comes into play, to advertise your product or services to your online friends, because you never can tell who could be in need of your services tomorrow.
I'm not sure this was a part of the plan upon creating this platform but I see this was another great opportunity to make your business grow aside from knowing more people online.

That is what they are trying that is for certain, social selling and using it as a multi-channel that you just cannot do without. For example, can many afford not to be in the internet ... have no presence? The answer is not really, even those very reluctant. Zuky's dream is to have that same relevance to the people in terms of bein the place to get clients, care for them an sell.
I guess in the last decade or so, social media has been used for business. When I work as a SEO/SMM like years ago, majority of our clients wanted their presence in the internet that's why they hired us. So nothing has change, it's just the matter how they are going to be promoted because they are a lot of social media to build their brands through interaction. So there is still the socializing part, as you can talk to your customers get feedback etc, etc.

I guess it all started when this pandemic hits everyone and its no safer anymore to keep on going out to continue with your business. So social media is now the best spot of most of the business transactions, and for me its more healthy as it is as its becoming more visible and accessible for everyone. But there could be an issue on trust as everyone can be disguised as a scammer and looks like a potential buyer or seller. That is why we should still take high caution as scamming has become more rampant too most especially in social media.business and its true that we should really be still cautious considering that frauds and scams are still rampant into these places which you should really be careful on dealing or transacting with other
people.
You can do both at the same time on where you could socialize at the same time you are promoting your business or products which i dont see anything wrong
with it and doesnt really violate platform rules and regulation.
