I hope most of the employers can give the employee option to be paid with bitcoin. So that we can use it more.
I am hoping for that to happen as I am seeing it as an awesome way for our pay. In that sense you will now be tax also and your money will even grow if you don't withdraw it all.

That's what makes me crazy sometimes because of many altcoins now in the market, I use to buy different altcoins but I was not able to really monitor them all and ended us losing my investment. Now, I have learned already that I only have to focus on coins that I can manage.But of course you also dont even know what to do sometimes because the price is always rising.

lol, what the hell is back up coins. altcoins are mostly useless and none of them could ever come close to bitcoin. besides holding altcoins for long term has never been a good idea because they get pump and dumped then their prices continue going down after this period.

I guess if you have a lot altcoin, you're better off selling it into bitcoin, may have been when halving occurs, altcoin price that you have come down, but it was still a possibility. if you believe that, maybe you can keep it

now im only in 1 asset or altcoin im invest 3btc at VERGE ($XVG) the current price is very cheap,

Guys, this thread is almost 2 years old! And some keep answering the OP 
But I think now (May 2016) is indeed a good time to convert some of your alts into Bitcoin. I expect an increase of at least 40% for Bitcoin until the halving event. Most altcoins will not increase at the same rate, although the more solid alts (Eth, Nem, Bitshares, Nxt ...) surely will profit a bit from it. But remember: after the halving event, I would consider to re-invest some BTC in alts. Not in the small scamcoins, but in those that offer solutions for Bitcoin's problems (scalability, energy consumption, etc.).

The bitcoin price is quite low at the moment. So it might be a good idea to buy more bitcoin at present.

Most of the ALt coins comes and goes. Very few of them stay for a long time. So a care should be taken while investing in them.
It is only the Bitcoins which is stable and will stay forever.
