Definitely not all ICO are scam but most of them is yes. That's why it's kinda hard to find a legit one. Making investing in ICO is one of the most risky investment in crypto world. Many have loss in this kind of investment resulting into people lossing trust in ICO. Like when they hear or read ICO, they will only think of one word and that is scam.

I agree with you, even though there are some ICO that have achieved hardcap but there is no guarantee to success, for example like Monvid after ICO ends with their hardcap running away. it seems at this time we need institutions that can protect investors from scam ICO or maybe set term and conditions that are very difficult to run a crowdfunding

You are right. On the one hand, the market is overwhelmed with a lot of trash projects that will never collect any soft cap and will only scam the investors. But on the other hand, there are a lot of great projects left. You just need to search better.

Hello, let me clear this doubt some people said that all ICO is a scam but I don't believe them because I have invested in some ICO and make a good fortune, let me give you some clue to invest.
1. When you want to invest first of all research about the particular ico you want to invest in, try to check their Whitepaper because some ICO copy text from another ICO white papers
2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.
3.Try to know their real location even though some use VPN to hide their location.
4.website professional matters a lot because some don't even know how to build website and they are claiming that they are in to Blockchain
5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk
The very difficult part in investing an ICO is choosing the right project and you have a good idea for choosing an ICO. I salute you for taking a risk investing in an ICO.

I don't see any wrong with His thoughts regarding about the ico, in fact all for what He stated was really true. Any investment form has an involve risk as a capitalist, and for seeking or searching the ico all for what he said was indeed also. And mostly, there are still left legits ICO remain and will arise in this field of business too.

Yes some of ICO's are not a scam, Actually we can find a good ICO if we have time to search of them.
But we need to be careful always because as of now ill think have some ICO are scam.
Yes, there are ICO project that are legit we just need to read there platform they produce .I believe it's more worth if we're able to decide with our own perception in terms of choosing.Don't ignore other projects because we can't determine the flow how it goes.

Not all the ICOs are scam! I invest in ICO since October 2017 and in average 2-3 ICOs per 10 are not scam... Now I try to read different reviews about projects. But not the reviews of corrupted advisors! There are many users in Twitter who write reviews, Shitcoin Offering, also comments and other articles by key "[name of ICO] scam"
Now it's more difficult to find good ICO project than it was previous year!

Sure, especially the point one. Most of the new icos just copy paste the whitepaper from another project. We really need to be carefull before want to invest, we are so lucky if can find the good one in this year.

Scam is really a lot, a good reliable project is difficult to distinguish.
I consider it a good indicator if the project has real partners or large well-known investors.

On the overall, majority of ICO are scam or not really needed in cryptocurrency. Those ICO only launch to collect money from poor investors that didn't make a thorough research and will become a victim once the team leave and stop developing the project.

Indeed, it is not that all of ICOs are scam projects. Some of them are already succeed bring profits to their investors.
When choosing ICO, you must search their flaw by all means. Not only a good things you have to find, but red flag is very important to find too.
Anyway, it is true that investing in ICO is risky than just holding coins.

I think you are also one of them. As I. I took part in very good projects that gave me the opportunity to earn real money. And there are quite a few such projects. You just need to carefully select and devote a lot of time to this choice.

Yes of course not all ICO's are scam because I participated a trusted ICO that will pay the rewards that are allocated to your works and also for the investors that are invested they prioritized them to recieved the profit that foresaw in thier investments that they offer. And I think the best thing to do in participating ICO is keeping yourself careful in joining.

Thousands of people made money thanks to the best ICOs. Some of them even managed to become millionaires. I am sure that each of us can find a very good and promising project. Just do not be in a hurry.

It's actually quite easy to find out if an ICO is a scam or not.
You mentioned linkedin, but that is just hte start.

First off, a simple google of the devs brings up a lot.
If they are reputable, they will have a digital footprint that is legitimate.
If only things related to the ico come up, it is sketchy.

Also, it is quite easy to double check their claims, like where they worked before or what partnerships they have.
If they claim to have worked for a big company, it is easy to reach out to the company and double check.
Even big companies are quick to dissassociate themselves with people they never had business with.
It is a legal thing and you will find response times fairly acceptable.

The first indicator of a good project is that it has a working product. Such little but in other to invest I not ready.

I would put on one place with the product, as good indicators, technical documentation, namely white paper, and a team with real profiles in social networks, the physical address of the project is also very important.

not just some! but there are so many ICO who are legit.
There are some who are the scam.
You or everyone just need to be more careful and be more knowledgeable in choosing ICO.
the danger is everywhere even in FIAT we just need to be wise.
