A good comparison, but when it comes to club and national team careers, Messi isn't the only one worth mentioning. Not to mention the fact that Argentina's national team has not won the A'Cup for 26 years ... and God knows how long has passed since the W'Cup was won. I mean, since 2005, Messi won the trophy for the first time playing for the national team, playing 150 matches while Maradona played 90 matches and won twice the W'Cup and twice the A'Cup. Tongue

I will be running La Liga and Serie A like last season, already started talking with some sponsors and I plan to take the pools online in a week or two. Well, firstly, despite the fact that my favorite was the Brazilian national team, I am happy for Argentina, since they really have not won for a long time. Congrats for the winners, I was far behind in this pool since day one.
I didn't make even make my prediction in the last match didn't matter anyway because I would chosen Brazil to win,
But atleast I win in the grand prize in the Final Competitions that was equal to 3rd place finish so I would like to thank Sportbet and Trofo for Organising and making this pool fun with the free bets and giving more them half of the pools pot,

Looking forward to more of these pools, there will be a month until we get leagues starting again so plenty of time to organise new pools.

Finally the missing piece for Lionel Messi after heartbreaks on four other different occasions, I don't know what else he could have done should he have lost this one again... The game wasn't an all entertaining one but the nerves were really high in the last 15 minutes.

@toma there's definitely a lot of poetry in Latin America, and sadly, more tragedy than joy, everything seems to be bittersweet even with victories involved. Just seeing the pics from the win was good for me though, and yeah the game seemed pretty shit itself otherwise.

And I know it's because they didn't start Bobby, Alisson and Fabs -- Tite made a wrong call there;)

I'm so happy for Messi that he finally won trophy with his national team. Though, it wasn't good game for him and whole tournament was nothing special for him. That Di Maria goal - what a pass by Rodrigo de Paul!
And final game wasn't most exciting. Dirty football, lot of fouls and yellow cards. But it was difficult to expect something different.

I missed it myself several times. I simply thought that I will leave my predictions later and when I remembered about it, games was already in play. Really appreciate what Trofo and Steve have done.

This is a match I wouldn't want to miss either, but I'm yet to be able to watch one game live all tournament long, the tournament isn't aired in my country and I've tried to stream online a couple of times but couldn't find one, all I get is this endless ads links after clicking.
