Look at at the face of George Russell after he saw Kimi Antonelli crashing his car during the first practice Grin
Mechanics had to fix the car and he was racing in second practice, but this could affect his performance in qualification.
Here is a video of young Antonelli crashing after just 10 minutes in Monza: https://youtu.be/7Mv7jKALA5s

Super decent start for my countryman!

Really nice to see him not crashing. Lets see tomorrow what he can do in th qualy.

Aside of that like i forwarded now Williams also announce the partnership with MercadoLibre.

About the top..... i Dont know what my picks are gonna be. McClaren and Ferrari are very solid but Verstappen..... still here.

If the weather is normal and shiny which has been the case for at least these last 7-8 years in Monza during the race and qualifying sessions you cannot really go wrong with a McLaren pole position and a McLaren win as they simply are the car to beat now though the odds will not be good enough in them being a race winner while in qualifying the odds are always good as you have two drivers doing a fast lap. Honestly I have not bet much on F1 but the very few times I have done during this season I have managed to win, I have placed another type of bet and I love head 2 head ones, the odds are relatively good and good duels happen all the time. If you guys remember the last 15 laps of last year race between Sainz and Leclerc it is the best illustration of this type of bet where Sainz won it and the odd was 2 against 1.4 of Leclerc, so yeah in F1 plenty of options to choose for betting.

Thank you! Like you said, not a drop of rain now, hot as can be, so I put in my bet. Limited markets (only 3!) for Practice sessions and the degenerate in me whispered so badly to go big on a McLaren winner too for FP1, but I stayed my hand and went the conservative route of a Norris Top 3 at 15/10.

Actually followed it a little on Twitter and they're already saying it could be the most-watched practice session. Argentina in for Williams, and an Italian dreamboy in for Russell (not sure what they're thinking but hey, gotta please Monza fans, right?).

Wau wau nice statistics @famososMuertos I'm happy to be in this list now after the last race, actually it ended that I lost my freebets but if I woulda won, it would also have paid me all my entrance fees this year!

The prediction contests are crazy opportunities, I really try to remember to enter them but with so many pools sometimes you do forget. Luckily jeremypwr has many reminders all over the ANN and Discussion Threads Smiley

Guess who I gonna support this weekend in Italy. Not Norris, Not Max Wink

Pool people, just asking ahead of Practice. I've been betting on F1 quite a lot this season, probably more than in my entire life -- mainly because I was bored out of my mind in the off-season for football. I'm getting on a nervous winning streak picking odd markets like Race Leaders and Podium finishes -- happy to listen to any recommendations from actual professionals here Wink

Hahaha yeah man, seems like you dont see my post.

Like i said before in my first post, Globant was the main companie behind the move, and now its oficial and with this......... is open the second phase of the deal.....

And your post was not far above mine, right above me actually, I didn't see it heh. Something to cheer for is better than nothing to cheer for. Happy for you!

And congratulations on getting the blue and white back on the tracks! Be dead in my grave or spread all over the world before I see someone from my neck of the woods in F1 (it's less about talent and more about affordability as dar said, it's truly out of reach for anyone back home haha) but must be cool to have representation all the same =)

dar you must be grinning too eh?

And the second phase of the deal is a really dreaming vision which include a few moves.... the only i can say is..... Colapinto to stay for the next season.  Wink

Mmmm i dont know if he can beat Albon even in qualyfication, Albon is a good driver and knows the car also for sure the car is fully develop in his taste but lets see what happen.

Colapinto loves Monza he has his best results there so maybe this is gonna be a good start for him.

Logan is out of the Williams team in the middle of the season and Albon, his team mate was very supportive of him in official declaration. I see many people being happy for a rookie from F2 coming to be a rookie in F1 in the worse possible car or the car who is just better than Sauber car and I don't understand their enthusiasm, there are much better and talented drivers than Colapinto who deserve the place but what do we know, F1 has become the pinnacle of corruption for sports as the most variance from the official rules is not seen in any other sport except this one.

Anyway let's see what Monza race, the "speed temple" as they call it will surely be a much much more interesting race than the boring one we saw at Zandvoort.

Yeah, most of them are Argentinians for sure, we celebrate because like you said we cant ever put a driver in F1 because of the lack of money, we had ton of super skillfull drivers who never had a chance. So its the only bullet we got right now. He is in the Williams structure and making a super F2 season until now with a not so big team. About corruption i agree like i said before, some HUGE companies from Argentina put the money and make the deal possible.
Anyways i agree with you his chances are very little to do something with this piece of crap of a car.

But we celebrate after 23 years we have one driver.

If that is the case and I know that back in the days Argentinian drivers were that good let's see what he will do at Williams, if he truly had an amazing season in F2 (which no one mentioned in official F1 social media pages) then I hope he can beat at least in some qualifying sessions Albon if he is that skillful. Of course I am not expecting him to beat Albon in the race as he simply lacks the experience but since he is in the Williams structure if he does a brilliant 9 races with Williams I am pretty sure it will help him a lot in his driving career, unfortunately for him there is no place at Williams next year as Sainz will be joining Albon.

Monza for sure will be a great race to drive a car with a Mercedes engine no matter that the car is not great otherwise (aerodynamically speaking) so good for him to be starting at Monza.

Climbed up a few places to get back into the top 10, that one is cash back if I remember correctly Grin

Looking forward to Monza, one of my favorite tracks since I was a kid. Let's see who's continuously the fastest on long straight parts Cool

Same here. I was in love with Monza since I was a kid too and I can't wait for this race to happen and hopefully , Ferrari on pole ? at least I can dream about it because in reality Ferrari is nowhere near a pole with their current car. I also don't see Max winning the race because the car simply doesn't have speed on long straight parts and that is where McLaren is shining but so does Aston Martin so I will keep a close eyes on them.

Monza will see one drama hopefully. Need more Wink
Another lose of first place for Verstappen and this season could become much more interesting and questionable.
I dont know if Norris can repeat performance from last race but he is the best candidate to catch up Verstappen.
Red Bull needs to make correction on their car asap.

Yes, this is something I will look forward to a lot. I asked all the time for drama, it came very late in the season tbh, Max still had a good lead, but maybe this is the proper way for us all to get excited.

Norris has to be careful. He made fastest lap when he did not need to, the win was more important to protect.

But maybe this is how he will continue to win.

I just wish the odds weren't so bad on Max to tempt me, but I guess in the end the sportsbooks always know what they are doing.

Those odds look very juicy and I am not sure Verstappen with Red Bull team can make their car fast enough on time to win this season.
Point difference is getting smaller all the time, not Norris has only 70 points less than Verstappen, and McLaren have only 30 points less than Red Bull in team rankings!
looking at terrible results from Sergio Perez and everything else I think that betting against Red Bull in team title sounds very good.

To be honest it looks like Red Bull is desperate for the remainder of the season. They can't keep up with McLaren anymore and Helmut Marko is also aware of the big threat for the championship. 9 races are enough to change many things. When it comes to Perez I don't expect a big recovery by him. He can't climb to the back of Verstappen to keep Red Bull's championship dreams alive.

By the way we are on another race week now. The next place is Monza which is a track that so many people love.  Smiley
