It is said that Red Bull has brought new upgrades for the car. Is it correct? If it is then we are quite likely to watch a much better performance than Verstappen. I assume he would give some signals from Free Practice sessions as well.

But I can't say the same thing when it comes to Perez unfortunately.  Sad  It is really hard to trust him from now on. Back in the day, I would put him on my podium quite often. But now it doesn't make sense at all as he isn't good anymore.

That is correct. It seems RedBull have a huge upgrade on their car on many departments so that should bring a big of confidence to Perez too ? Because if he won't score important points this weekend , I'm afraid he won't catch the next seat for next year even if he has a signed contract.

Oh eh, forgot my picks if not for the Superbru reminder. Hammie to win, why not? Broke his duck after 2.5 years drought, these things tend to happen in pairs or more no?

Completely clueless about the selections, this one, I'm trying something completely different: picking the first bookmaker Google shows me and following their odds in the precise order.

From what I know, Ferrari also seemed to have finally fixed the errors they had from previous races. I would really hope so since I believe Norris is closer to Leclerc than Verstappen. I believe the championship fight would be for 2nd place, between Mclaren and Ferrari but if Ferrari continues to suck then Mercedes can easily creep up to higher positions.

It’s disappointing really. Perez was one of the greatest drivers when he was still in racing point, earning them a win. Now I am quite sure he is gonna get replaced next year if not in the middle of the season.

He has become pretty weak recently or is it because other teams have caught up to the performance of RB? I think it could be both. Are we just stirring the pot or is it going to be a problem for Perez if he doesn't perform? Would there be an opportunity for Sainz?

Verstappen to Win in Mogyoród is only 1.88; ...//..,,,

Thanks for the notification, football... has left us on 'vacation' after those double matchs of football, for this area with ideal afternoon, and evening hours to watch national team football... the SuperBru App, at less in my case, it stays in "loading Content from the Internet", it is not unusual for this to happen, but usually in a couple of minutes it is solved, I just put it aside and forget about it....they must be on vacation too.

I don't know about Max... but for Pool it is an important race, whether to continue consolidating place the routine drivers, or put on Hard Tires, C1 Tires, or C5 Tires, and try new positions in the Top3.   Smiley

I'm not that confident about Verstappen anymore honestly. But I think this is a good feeling.  Grin  Because he can't dominate every race as of this season. I have realized how much I missed a competitive season after this.

Hungaroring is a track that Verstappen loves. We can understand it from his being the winner of last 2 races here. However considering the competition level lately, I wouldn't be that confident to put him on the pole and as the winner both. I'm going to look for FP3 results especially as it is more realistic than the first 2 sessions. I would really love to see a podium with Norris, Leclerc and Verstappen here.  Smiley

I think that Verstappen is winning races for Redbull and not Redbull winning races for Verstappen like Totto Wolf said,we don't exclude a future with Max,it is him who is winning as if you see Perez it is not doing well at all. This last race has been a good one and a victory to Hamilton gifted by the most incompetent team of the whole grid when it comes to strategies, yes they are even worse than Ferrari and that team is definitely McLaren who has lost 2 races, one because of the Safety Car in Canada and one because they are simply stupid,in Silverstone.

Clearly Redbull is the not the fastest car in all tracks and this makes the season more beautiful to watch but in here,in Hungaroring,Verstappen won from 10th place or 7th place on the grid last time around.

Guys are you slowly getting ready for legendary Hungaroring Grand Prix scheduled for July 21?
Max Verstappen won last two times but Lewis Hamilton loves driving here and maybe he continues winning after Silverstone.
I am up to 15th place in Superbru but I really need to win most points again in Hungary.

This is for sure a RedBull track in all categories and I do expect Max to win pole and also the race without having any difficulties.

I can also see Ferrari finally having a proper race with both drivers and my bet would be that Leclerc will snatch a podium out of nowhere and keep the battle for 2nd place open between him and Norris but if this don't happen , then Norris is already 70% the owner of 2nd place of Drivers Championship because McLaren is looking very solid.

Yes I'm already looking forward to watching the next race in Hungary. We have taken a chill this week after having 3 races in 3 weeks. But I easily miss Formula 1 after even a one-week break. Verstappen has started to have a difficult time recently. He is aware that they aren't far ahead of the other teams anymore. The progress McLaren and Mercedes have made is huge. It would be nice to watch another fierce competition among Verstappen - Hamilton - Norris.  Smiley

Verstappen still has a good cushion at the moment, but it will definitely be more difficult for him in the remaining races, McLaren is always on Verstappen's tail anyway and I'm curious to see if Mercedes will bring their performance back to Hungary. But I think it will still be difficult for Mercedes to get into the top 3, but we'll see in a few days.

It's really going to be an interesting GP. I remember that Hamilton won back in 2009 with the first victory with the hybrid technology. He really did amazing things back then and maybe it can continue with the upcoming GP.

This track although thought by many people as a boring one with little opportunity to overtake but lately in these last races there have been good races going on,in here anyone can win,a few years ago Ocon won here and nobody predicted that so for sure it is going to be a race full of emotions and for us pool participants every race is interesting as we are in the loop here until the season ends.

Hungaroring is one of those tracks that people consider it boring yet in here we have seen one of the most beautiful overtakes of history together with SPA and that was in a cloudy race where Alonso have overtook one of the best drivers of history like Schumacher. We can expect a great race in here if we see some drops of rain,or just a few minutes of rain like we saw in Silverstone, after all the race in Silverstone was won by Hamilton after McLaren screwed themselves their strategy by mounting red tires when they had yellow ones at their disposal.

For points in this track is a bit difficult as it is a sure thing we can see some accidents happen here,Safety Car has been present a lot of times and as such I am not expecting a big points performance here, mostly like the race we just passed at Silverstone.

For the drivers, I think we can see the difference in experience with Max and Lewis. It's really with experience that you could win more.

I agree. Experience makes big difference in this sport. I remember Piastri making simple mistakes sometimes because of still being a rookie in F1. We see it less often with experienced drivers. Hamilton had a great chance there and he didn't waste it. In the first times of the season I was feeling like Hamilton wasn't competitive anymore because of announcing his deal with Ferrari. But it looks like I was wrong.  Grin

By the way Perez looks likely to be sent from Red Bull quite soon. Because things are getting more serious while other teams are on the rise. They shouldn't listen to Verstappen on this topic if they want to keep winning constructor championships.

I think the point is... Sainz! come on... either you change your agent or ask Checo Perez for his agent's phone number...   Wink

noblox Congratulations, yeah 1 It's good to see those at the bottom win in that way.  Roll Eyes

Or the point is, we'll never understand what goes on behind the scenes. You know, ever since Newcastle did all kinds of things I didn't see as logical, but later learnt that it benefited the owners (the business) greatly, I've now come to understand that profit doesn't always necessarily align with sporting interest.

I'm almost certain it's the same, if not elevated, in Formula 1.

Nice barb at notblox1 haha

Damn, Russell was really unlucky. I wanted to put him in 3rd place on my podium. I wish I put Hamilton there for podium bonus.  Roll Eyes  I never expected him to win the race honestly. I thought Mercedes would lose pace during the race but the situation was totally different. Verstappen is aware that they aren't the fastest by far anymore but he still did a good job despite having big difficulties.

I thought Norris would win the race but thanks to McLaren he lost a big chance... After a very slow pit stop he couldn't catch up with Hamilton and even lost 2nd place. Anyway it is still a good week for me in the pool though.
This was the same thought that I had when I was trying to put my guesses in. I mostly based on the qualifying and since Mercedes 1 and 2, I have put Russell as the winner and it's just that he is unlucky. For the drivers, I think we can see the difference in experience with Max and Lewis. It's really with experience that you could win more.
