The season is still long though as it has been only 4 races until now.

As for the Japanese GP I'm so regretful for not changing the places of Sainz - Leclerc. First I thought of adding Sainz to 3rd place but later I wanted to take a risk by thinking most people would add Sainz too. However Leclerc's qualifying performance was really bad and even his high effort during the race wasn't enough. Sad

If the investigation for the Russell - Piastri incident during last laps of the race ended up with Russell's being penalized for 5 seconds I would collect extra 1.5 points.

I believe Russell deserved a penalty there: https://youtu.be/Z3-IulIyBtU?si=KOobIQQddiJdlerr&t=424 . Piastri was ahead of Russell at the turn so Russell must have left the space...

I actually mixed up Norris and Russell again like I always do and felt so sick after realising it but fortunately Russell was able to get past Piastri.
And thankfully Russell didn't get a penalty for an earlier incident with Piastri.
That said Mercedes disappoints me very much!

This season I have started to follow the practice rounds before I make any choice.. This round it was between Stroll and Tsunoda, but after I saw the practice rounds I was more sure of Tsunoda to be top 10. luckily it went my way😁

That is the problem,you should not put your predictions before watching all the free practice sessions,the three of them and the third one is just a couple of hours before the official qualifying,this gives you great hints as how mostly the line up will be and which team is most likely to dominate the race or teams.

Personally I never expect so many persons to do that well during such race yet it is exactly in such races that the difference is made,people for example who made 15-16 points here,are 4-5 points difference lost compared to the ones who did better and this demoralize them.I am sure though that there is plenty of room for recovery as we have another 20 races to go and many seasons ago 19-20 races were all season long.

There has been the round with the most points and I was lucky to retain first place again after 4 races,I think judging how things are going I will not be able to retain it for long enough and I should be happy if I manage to finish in a paying position in the end of the season pool.

I am in tears for the simple reason that my record of 20 points was shattered to aces in just the 4th race of the season and not by just one guy but two guys Grin

,big congrats to them and it looks like this season is going to be tough in here.

RedBull is always a favorite to win but I think Ferrari is now closer to compete with than from all other teams.

That is true,however in the first practice session they dominated the session and I believe they to have spare power to use as I am sure no one goes all out in the first Friday practice session.This means that most likely there will be a one-two finish from Redbull team if rain is not here or accidents do not happen otherwise those are the only race altering events excluding another mechanical failure to the Redbull that can make the race interesting.The only good thing is that Sainz I don't know what happened to him but is driving brilliantly and it is right there in the tail of the Redbull and maybe with those race altering events Ferrari can manage another win making it back to back.

Another early race for me and probably most of us here... I guess I wouldn't be able to get up before qualifying so it is better to make the picks today. Grin

EBP is very important in the end.

FP1 was dominated by Red Bull drivers. Seeing some progress at Mercedes side was also nice. Sainz was ahead of Leclerc also by the way. I wonder if he will finish this race ahead of him too. FP2 didn't have anything to show us as we didn't watch anything proper because of rain. Predicting the exact podium is really important for me as I have come down a lot in the standings. Hopefully we have a good race this weekend.

Today when i wake up i hope to see some consistent results from the FP...... and well the FP2 was a joke, so i have to wait until FP3 to have any clue on which team car is the better option.
