Sevilla derby to start in 20 minutes. So what do you guys think? I have a bet on Betis to not lose since Sevilla is missing a lot of players, especially in defense. I hoped that Carlos will be absent as well since he picked up a knock against Dinamo but he is in first 11 so I am not so sure anymore. Placed another bet on both to score so 1:1 would suit me perfectly.

Valencia on their way with their win, and I was surprised to see less than half of us thought about this. I know we all said can't trust the team but Mallorca is clearly less capable on paper.
Match shows one-sided match, of course, so I guess I got lucky here. Valencia defending the lucky goal like a team from Liga Segunder! 1 corner, all the cards and a sending off. Seriously, who can take them seriously even after this win?

I guess not many people are going to be excited about the first game of the new round, but Levante are the home favorites and but it is strange as this is bottom team versus 13th place team, so Elche should be expected to win again right?

Yes, Aubameyang played as the starter first time in this match. He made 3 goals for Barcelona to ensure Barcelona management that he deserves to be a starter in each match. I am sure Xavi will consider him to be Barcelona main central forward after this good achievement. We must admit that Aubameyang is an extraordinary striker in the past, but he made the wrong decision to join Arsenal previously. Now, he started very well in Barcelona, hope he will be successful here.Pedri deserved to have that goal, actually. But I guess being the awesome dude he is, he probably also preferred to let Auba celebrate his hattrick. Free transfer already paid off I guess.
I wouldn't say he made a wrong decision about Arsenal though. He was good for the club and the club also reaped rewards. All the issues kinda was his fault. Still not 100% sure about this guy especially with all the stuff that happened at Arsenal but hopefully we find that Xavi is a better person to manage that guy's personality than Arteta.

nevertheless, happy with this round, Sevilla was a booger, did not see them drawing with Espanyol, and everything else is much-less expected

2-0? big mistake, i've said it a few Indeed. There are lessons to be learnt all around from the big boys, and I'm ignoring them time again (of course, when I do try to be a good boy Serie A seems to punish me on BTTS).
Don't believe in Levante today, but already on first minutes they had crazy open miss.
The first 10 minutes was ok but maybe it's just me the rest of the half was poor, I don't think there was anything other than one good shot saved early on, the rest of the game has been snore and not even brutal to deserve many cards. Feel so cheated after a great weekend. Going to just switch off and hope Celta salvages my Monday, no points anywhere to be found.

It was difficult to expect such result, especially after 60 minutes, maybe result don't fully reflect game. IMO, Inaki Williams is one of the most underrated players in league.they were a bit better whole match, but scored almost all opportunities after first goal, nevertheless missing penalty in first half

Pedri deserves commendation though for that nice shot on target. For Auba, it is a clear show that a happy player puts in more efforts, he was definitely no longer happy at Arsenal, Barcelona will be good for him, he has already started well.
Let's just hope it stays that way both for Barca and Auba, they need each other. Sometimes it happens that new players starts very good and then looses the touch soon. Just look at Lukaku example in Chelsea, he came scored some incredibly important goals in though matches and then disappeared. Must admit that I doubted Auba signing the most. I was expecting most from Torres and he started by blasting every opportunity over the goal.

First some brilliant goals and assists from Traore, today a brace from Auba. Must be good times to be a Barca fan eh slam, and I know it's Valencia but they're capable of tripping up teams.

Happy about Barca performance today, not that often Barca score 4 goals away, especially against historically difficult opponents like Valencia. Auba was awesome today. Last week with Napoli we also didn't played bad, just wasted so many moments. It may have big coast in 2nd leg game.
Don't think so, this will be a proper derby with little opportunities and lot of defensive work. Bear in mind these are 2 among the best defenses in La Liga at the moment. I am expecting a low scoring draw tonight and we will be lucky if that ends up being 1:1 and not 0:0. Skipping this one and rather watching some tennis finals.

this derby always delivers top entertainment, great way to end the weekend... i went with a 1-2 Sociedad in the pool, they're looking pretty good lately, except for that loss in Copa del rey (if you remove that game they are unbeaten in the last 9 games), they're also unbeaten in away games since december, plus unbeaten in this derby since 2020 *EDIT jinxed February 20, 2022, 02:11:20 PM

La Liga was good for me today, had a classic both to score on Barca and started to get a little nervous when Valencia had 2 goals disallowed in first half. Best possible outcome for me in the end, money on the ticket, great game and Barca win. If only I got correct score in the pool but that is pushing it a bit

3 exact scores thanks to Benzema penalty. There was never any doubt in the end, and Real extends their lead at the expense of others who failed to win. Barca game is thankfully "early" enough for me to watch, so I'll probably catch at least the first half. Odds are very very balanced there so most are expecting a draw

Now I just have to go down the list and take care of the rest of the guys in front of me, so pretty much all of you for this pool Real Madrid is playing quite poor in the first half, I expected them to come out all guns blazing after loosing to PSG during the week. They need a bit of moral booster before second leg of that match. Still plenty time to turn it around though.

Villareal got the 3 goals I needed, but happy they scored 4-1 to still give me a close score but remove half a point from all those 2-1 wins from others haha. Problem is Granada also found a way to score. 3 penalties apparently, and a hattrick, who would have figured huh! Liverpool having a weird game... so far. Conceding 2 corners to Norwich in first minutes, but hammering and getting nothing.
I see Atletico's also holding onto a slim lead. Back to basics?
Yes, MoSala has been tearing it up every pool I can see, finally, the pos-mid-season buckling has arrived and I feel like it could all quickly unravel, but still, for someone to get yellow caps like that, to get exact scores on Juve, I say well bloody deserved.
All I have now to do is just do what I've been doing and hope for the best.
