Matchday 19 kicks off next friday with Valencia - Espanyol. FC Barcelona will visit Mallorca on sunday without 4 players because of covid and possibly Dembele too due to an injury (still not confirmed by the club). So far, next matchday will carry on as planned despite real sociedad, espanyol and celta having a lot of new covid cases in their squads.
Dembele injured? What? No way man!
Anyway, I'm not too worried with the injuries and absences because other clubs will be quite affected as well. At this point I'm not going to be disappointed if we even have to play a full academy in our defence lol
For now it's not big deal because it's break now. But following what happens in other leagues and sports, it's worrying thing. I can't remember such big outbreaks last season when there were no vaccines, it was few players at same time usually. Now there is many cases when half of team get positive test results.
In other news, Barca officially signed Ferran Torres. It's great stuff, but I'm not sure how current Barca were able to find €55 millions.
Yeah like I said I guess after the break all the positives will recover, but it's about the next wave of infections, and how they might view stadiums and even games as spreading vectors.
City the winner, and Barca the loser again (financially). Who was talking about Xavi and only 10 million yesterday? hehe
