Well since we had just few games in EPL that would be an ok score there, and we had a lot of surprises in La Liga and Serie A. I have done somewhat better than you but still very poor, 4 points was my max across the pools this weekend. A bit embarrassing for us but still long way to go and change it to the better. Just need to start getting those correct scores right.

New free bet challenge will be up later today since we have games during the week.

Back in 2020 when all leagues were stopped, I tried to watch these virtual things like football or F1. Personally, I wasn't very excited about it. I prefer to play myself than watch how others playing.
I doubt that real sports will be ever replaced by esports. These things will exist separately, but esports probably will get bigger recognition, like including to Olympics. And eventually it may become bigger thing than real sport.

being above 40 (myself), I think that real sport is better, but my opinion would not matter in 10-15 years

and if you watch it on TV, does it make a difference are these people avatars or real people? VAR is just one step closer to programmable sport, IMO

We're almost at halfway point, I'm still chasing the top, and I just had a look: more than half of La Liga is negative goal difference. That's not as bad as EPL where only 6 teams, all the top 6, have positive GD, and only the top 3 have more than +7 GD.

I wonder what this says about either league huh?

Not sure about the metaverse stuff, but by now I would expect EA sports FIFA tournaments to have caught fire by now, but we are still far from it. Even the lockdown due to COVID-19 where all popular leagues paused did not do much to popularize the EA sport tournaments that were readily available for the bored fans.
My thinking is that people seem to prefer real life sports events.

Barcelona Fans will be happy this weekend with their win, Atletico Madrid has dropped points in this Sevilla game and although Sevilla has been good this season, there's a big concern for me with the Atletico team whose performance is becoming poorer with plenty defensive challenges, something unlike the team we used to know. Suarez who is a prolific striker is in a really bad shape and form currently, i hope he bounces back soon.

I think it wasn't bad game. But getting early 2:0 lead probably made players to relax a bit. You simply can't waste 2:0 lead in 2 minutes. But at least team showed thatthey have balls and managed to win game. I agree that every game for Barca this season is 50/50, even against teams like Elche. But probably you can't ask for too much when you look at age of most of our players and considering how many injured players we have.

Barca leading 3:2, sounds like it was good game. Defiantly time for Coutihno to move on. I mean get a hint and get lost. Barca has following players injured: Braithwhite, Depay, Fati and Pedri on the position he is playing and still he is on the bench. In the first team Gavi, Dembele, Ezzalzouli and Jutgla. Ok first 2 are good but when second two play before you....time to move on. If that was not enough Barca needed to score when it was 2:2 and Coutinho stays on the bench while Nico and Puig get in to change to score the winning goal Grin

I've been really lucky for the first 2 games actually on this Match Day, exact scores for them, and then of course Villareal make me pay for not trusting in them to win away... hahay and rdbase the only one to score 1.5 points on this but I bet hahay is so unhappy for the 96th min goal, literally the last action of the game before whistle!

I'm looking also at Bundesliga now as the only one I might attack, and Serie A, but the way France and UK are going I'm not sure any of these other leagues would be good enough to trust on for longer than a week. Oh for sure all those years ago before going to England he was top and rated, kinda of why City bought him and damn did he deliver for them. I just always felt that once he was playing there and then especially after the system changed in the second half of his stay there, he kept getting overlooked, but this was also partly because strikers in the modern game were almost less and less important. At least where I live and work, people simply don't talk about him even though he was part of the winning team season after season for what 6? 7? 8?

But let's all agree we are on the same page. He was/is a great guy, and football is poorer without him!

Try to contact Steve, as I think it will be much faster than if you or I looked through own betting history to find a similar precedent. But looking ahead, I think the bet will be returned because in the end it is not bonus money (or it will be recalculated taking into account the winning match). Take a look at my ticket ... the initial odds were about 10, but after the canceled match with Watford, the odds dropped to 3, despite the fact that it was a free bet (so I think you won't have any problems recalculating your bet). Wink
