If game will go to extra time and penalties, it's only chance for us to win.

it was in extra-time, but Real won
did not watch it

tonight is Atletico vs Athletic, maybe Bilbao could show some strength tonight and goes to final? odds are pretty much the same as yesterday, and Bilbao is better value than Barca, IMO, but I do not think that it will be goals as last night

Don't forget, we have Spanish super cup game tonight. This is also my tip of the day, Real to win against this Barca @2.1, I am taking that all day long. Barca without form and with lots of injuries against very good Real, should be easy money, right?

Too bad the game is played Saudi Arabia but what can you do, money rules football.
Actually, there is not that many injuries and all players recovered from covid. Pedri and Ansu Fati finally returns after injuries, Ferran Torres will debut today and it will be interesting to see what Dani Alves can do against Real.
Though, don't have big expectations about this game. If game will go to extra time and penalties, it's only chance for us to win.

money rules football.

city derby is always good, so Betis and Sevilla match is great choice

money does not rule football, it basically rules everything
yeah, just one match over the weekend, but La Liga has new partial mid-week round next week, Villareal should put Elche back, since they won points over Espanyol on Monday

Spain Super Cup today with El classico being the game we all waited for , even if the current teams are playing more from history (totally Barca case here ) and Real Madrid who will try everything to beat Barcelona whenever they can this year as rarely you see Barcelona in a form like this. Xavi should be aware of this tonight and maybe try to go full force from start with the idea that they will score first...which I don't think it will happen.

I graded last challenge and put the new one up. This time we have a game from Spanish cup since they are playing just one league game over the weekend. I don't think you'll mind since it is Sevila derby Smiley

Regret changing my draw prediction to a slim win for Bilbao, they did as a lot of people expected (odds were also the lowest on nil-nil outcome), so casper you've gone and extended your lead now with that close 1-1 prediction. Also, serves me right to go for a big Atletico win. Who else is disappointed "only" 2 yellows in that game?

rdbase has been really getting up some sole wins with exact btw. I see you, man Wink

had a similar miss on Betis game, flipped several times between 1:1 and 2:1, and changed to 2:1 for Rayo in last minute, shit (they are still best home team in the league)
You are very serious this season, topping all pools

Elche caught me by surprise last night, two fast goals in the beginning, and Espanyol could not beat that

look on the bright side, Dani alves played really well despite being a 38yo who just came back from the brazilian league  Cheesy  though i'm not sure if he's good enough to start against the likes of Real Madrid, Napoli or Bilbao, their toughest rivals in the next 30 days. Btw, another player injured in the Barca camp: eric garcia, 5 weeks out. As the saying goes: "when it rains it pours"

Please don't help to push me into deeper boundaries of imagination and self denial about my club lol

But of course, you're right. And I think nobody doubted he would play well, definitely he will be one of the key anchors to stabilize this seesaw team. Now you have said this of course I must imagine how awesome it would be if we beat all those three clubs you mentioned. Then we will be flying to 4th spot confirmation lol

no matter Barca results at the moment, they are lucky to play in La Liga, and will probably finish fourth, since there is no rival that could win in series, obviously
nevertheless, it will be interesting to watch, and will not be 20+ points difference between top4 and the rest

less goals today, Osasuna is up two goals and winning, while Alaves and Bilbao are goalless in last minute

Barca didn't win, as you know. That's what happens when you forget how to defend a lead with a full team... like buway said, they need to learn to mature, Xavi said also. Inexperience. Oh well Smiley

Levante being at the bottom of the table actually won. I am second last in the pool but I aint giving up so you shouldn't either.
Barcelona should win this next match against Granada as they are 13th.
Also with the signing of Ferran Torres this should strengthen their line up front.

Yeah thanks man, I know it looks bad for us but it's a smaller pool if we were in a bigger pool like EPL we wouldn't be doing too badly. Yes I know I'm saying that to console myself but also because it's partially true. The points gap here from bottom to top is not as big as in the bigger pools.

Barca draw with Granada, I think such result isn't very surprising, but still most people in the pool, even not Barca fans can't resist from backing them. That Gavi red card can't be justified, such foul wasn't needed there at all. And 10 minutes remaining, Barca with 10 men on pitch - not great perspective. Granada pushed hard, scored and achieved deserved draw.

Really hard not to back Barca really, Granada were my fav dark horse 2 seasons ago but their inconsistency is as predictable as Barca's current form... but yeah I'm just surprised we don't have even Real fans backing Barca to drop points? As I said, PL Guru's pick shows you also sometimes it's really not worth backing a big upset.

This young side needs to learn how to mature a lot, though.

Levante were terrible in this season so far, but they can't lose all games forever. Few weeks back they lost to Valencia, but in that game they show that they're capable to play. But considering everything, I decided that draw would be safer choice in this game.

I actually can't remember if it was in this thread or another, and with whom, but I was suggesting to do a martingale on teams like Levante, putting money on them to eventually break their shitty streak. But the odds on this game was pretty bad too... it's funny but you don't see them get as good value as say, Norwich in the EPL.

2-0 it ended, and surprisingly quite a few of us in the pool backed the home win, I was going for a draw till yesterday and changed my mind, pretty amazing to have to wait this long for a first win, their fans must be happy. But they will have to string a few wins to survive the drop, so not sure I'm picking them often.

Damn Benzema, I was just this close to getting an exact score and he had to ruin our fun. Not only that, his goal put the Soccer Blackjack into BUST at 22, so it's double whammy for me, how annoying!

casper's still ahead with 3 points for the leaderboard but my heart goes out to PL Guru who actually went for a Granada win. Barca's just so fond of getting themselves in trouble, aren't they?

I'd still expect a narrow win from Barcelona here regardless.

draw in the end, I do not bet on Barca matches this season, due to uncertainty, but it is interesting that we had almost 100% consensus on Barca win in the pool, even dough Granada is in nice series, with two home wins
just one bet on Granada in the pool, and no bets on draw
I think it's even much wiser to bet against Barcelona these days, especially away from home  Grin

It's funny that last week I picked a draw and Barça won. This week, I picked a Barça win, and then they drew. My bad luck continues.

Yeah, same old performance, just a different day. Barcelona looked to heading for the win and were convincingly in control of the game, before Gavi who had just returned from suspension was handed his matching orders, that's an aspect of his game that needs to be worked on before becoming the next Granit Xhaka, despite his raw talent.

one more, Real vs Valencia tonight, should be home win with goals, but I hope for a draw

Real Madrid are in the lead at halftime, it's all Real Madrid in the first 45 minutes to be honest, there will have to be a different approach for Valencia to stand a chance of getting back into this game.

It's halftime, and there is not so much to talk about from my own perspective, just yet another mediocre performance so far.

Ferran Torres should be an improvement to squad, and I'd love to see the partnership with Ansu Fati, hopefully the later would be able stay fit.

I'd still expect a narrow win from Barcelona here regardless.

Levante hah! Wow.

But does anybody else here think Celta Vigo is worth betting on against Sociedad? I'm considering it heavily because Sportsbet specials have Iago Aspas to score but Sociedad to win, and they are also the Super Boost selection. I would have gone for Correct Score but market's not available at the moment.

This pool is almost out of reach for me but I haven't given up lol

I took all specials today as all were high, so yeah hoping Sociedad wins but Aspas scoring is almost a given. They're in the lead already so great I guess. I did make a weird hedge though, Celta to win at HT paired with a live game...
ay, i wasn't the only one who thought Celta was going to give Sociedad a run for their money.  1-0 Sociedad, Celta with no shots on target in 90 min... a reality check for everyone who believed this team was ready to go back to the top side of the league table,, dreadful performance and i'm 0/2 in this round of superbru, ffs  Cheesy
