Atletico won it, but it was not all roses for them during the match, Sevilla showed that they are here to be fourth again, decreasing Valencia chances for new CL next season

will be interesting to see Villareal tonight, what they could put on the pitch, Granada had their seasons, and this will lead to down part of the table probably

I took Atletico, Barca and Sevilla, but was very idiotic to put City in together in my accumulator so failed. Worse was City was the first game along with Atleti. I should have doubled down on the remaining 3. Indeed 2.1x on Atletico was so good odds LTU... too bad I got too greedy.

You can't imagine how relieved I felt seeing Braithwaite take the responsibility. Now we just need Fati, Stegen, Dembele all back fit and we can have a bit more stability in the front and back department. Indeed, very solid game of Barca, if not these 2 goals conceded in the end. But these goals don't reflect game at all. Who need Messi when we have Braithwaite? Just kidding Cheesy

Just watched whole Barca game and I must say I liked what I saw. They are playing fast football and Sociedad was nowhere to be seen. Griezmann and Braithwhite played big parts when defending as well, Depay looked dangerous every time he had ball in his feet. They only need Griezmann to find attacking form and Ter Stegen to come back from injury to again start dreaming about big things.

What a bad start for me, almost like last season! I'm counting on my team tonight to help me make up for the lost points but honestly as long as we get 3 points I'm happy. Yeah, Real doing business as usual, am surprised they got off to such a quick start though but the Benz indeed has been in a rich vein of form and he'll be insistent on carrying this entire season on his shoulders.

I think both Hazzard and Bale are feeling more ok with Ancelotti as coach even if Zidane is the best in the world right now and I think he patiently waits to take over national squad of France. This year might be one of the craziest in LaLiga in the last years as I see Real favorite followed by ATL.Madrid , Barcelona, Sevilla and Valencia top run after this 4.

Tomorrow looks like a day with goals but I feel a surprise might happen in one of the games...

Did not watch the game but if Hazard and Bale are showing signs of life and they manage to get close to their top form - Real will be very good this season. I expected Alaba to fir right in Real squad, Modric and Benzema are producing the goods almost every game for last couple of seasons so no reason to stop now

Yeah, odds aren't pretty either so I'm still dragging my feet. Have just about broke even in EPL action. Lost almost all the underdogs so far, but have got unexpected luck on matches I wasn't even watching. Two big parlay losses evened out by a Chelsea to win both halves (2/1 I thought it was good value) and even Watford to win (35/10) so I'm pleased to be home and dry, I'll just sit out betting on tonight. Maybe a BB on Barca tomorrow though!

it was a record breaking red card for Valencia, he did not last for one minute to get red card
not sure that it is a fastest red card in history, but in La Liga season for sure, since that was first match in the season

nevertheless, this could be a good season for VCF, since we won a match when nothing came out well for us, last season we will lost so many points when we played good football

Good start for my pool. Didn't make the exact score but I thought it was dangerous to back Valencia, given how often they let us down last season. Terrible way to lose a player for your start, but I guess 3 points against Getafe is worth it for them.

I see that Valencia promote their Fan Token on shirt - seems it's new trend in football. In La Liga, Barca, Atletico and Levante have their fan tokens too.

I watched parts of the game yesterday and Getafe was much better team. They missed couple of great chances and Valencia keeper had some world class saves. Fair result would have been a win for Getafe but I really can't believe how they were unable to score at least one goal.

Of course, as you said, Valencia was a man down for most of the match so this may not be realistic showing of teams value.

Indeed we are underway for the new season, and it's more worth playing all through the 38 weeks even if one should drop out of the prize winning zones before the end of the season.

Perhaps I'll do much better this season since I won't be so expectant of Barcelona and Real Madrid, However what are the chances of Atletico Madrid winning La Liga in 2 consecutive seasons ?
