Well after a "good" start, a very bad second round for me in this pool.
Atletico yesterday with the tie agains Betis was not expected for me, i think this Atletico its gonna be a real contender (still is), but i really see they winning against Betis. But the reality seems not today.
Getafe losing 3-0 against Girona another unexpected result. Bordalas teams are very defensive, and they come from a 0-0 against Barcelona, no sense.

I will have to stop being pool captain, my results are suffering something awful. I am firmly at the bottom of bot my pools while I am doing OKish in Bundesliga and keeping very good 4th position in Premier League. Hell I am even doing better in F1 pool and I have never in my life watched a race. No other explanation than failure to perform in my own pools 
At least I got Barca correct score right so maybe there are bettre days to come in the future.

Looks like I jinxed Atletico also with the horrible prediction, I even actually thought there would be many goals.
I can't believe you are at bottom but you have to see in all the pools, the yellow caps are doing weird results, Premier League only is showing to me "correct" tables, so you should be happy there.
F1 is same story for both of us it seems. If only we can extract a lesson from this!!

Btw, does anyone know why Superbru app often says "Sorry, the game engine is busy..." when I'm trying to see the leaderboard? Sometimes it works but often it just gives that error.
Just do it outside of critical hours. It is absolutely the worst when PL games finish and everyone wants to check it.They have slow servers, i just got used to it and I do my superbru stuff in the mornings. Did not see that problem for years.

Spanish league proving to be a stubborn league to predict...but from my observation 2-0, 1-1, 1-0 seem to be the most common scoreline around here, and with this insight I will be calibrating my correct score predictions to the said numbers.
Btw, noticed that if you can get 3 correct scores and some result points you are guaranteed of a yellowcap...but unfortunately not as easy as it sounds

Aren't those scores the most common final scores for any football game? There are always big wins and games with much more goals but overall I think that those scores are the most common. Btw, yellow cap is for the best player in the last round, not for the one that gets 3 correct scores. There is also a wooden spoon that's reserved for the player with the worst performance in the last round.
I can't believe how many of us got the exact score in Barcelona - Cadiz game. Especially after the draw that Barcelona had in their first game.

I think I've subscribed to all pools last year, except the cricket one. And it has been too much time consuming for me to be honest, so this year I've decided to participate to less pools and to dedicate less time to that. I also mainly bet on ML when I bet, because the hedge is usually bigger on secondary bet options. Sportbooks can hardly display shitty odds on their main pages if they want to attract and to keep customers, so they usually try to be competitive on this kind of bets.
IPL pool is very short and it's much harder there to pick if you don't know about the leagues, which I don't really, so I only took part once. Even betting on cricket I don't do so much, just here and there for IPL.
It's definitely time commitment if you want to do well, I agree. Anyone can put picks in but as you can see from people like me I do badly in most pools because I don't really follow.
Then again, luck factor like F1 I don't really know what I'm doing but so far so good lol

I was following the score of the Celta - Sociedad game and I was pretty happy to see Sociedad winning. I couldn't believe when they conceded a goal few minutes before the end. They cost me 1.5 points for that.
And Almeria -Real Madrid is one more exact score guess for me. It looks like there are not that many upsets in this round.

Correct scores is definitely mainly luck, like when Onana didn't given penalty, 1-1 was the smart choice but 1-0 was the lucky win. I bet on ML also mainly so correct scores is not important but I do feel pools trick is to know when to go for draws.

Today I read that Sevilla might be interesting in signing Dinamo Zagreb's goalie Livaković. There are speculations that he will leave the club before the end of this transfer deadline, but Dinamo wanted to keep him for as long as they can so he can help them qualify for the UCL. It could be a good replacement for Buono.
No idea about the guy but didn't his team already lose to AEK in our BSFL competition? Let in two goals and Sevilla want him lol. But no I'm just kidding, Bouno was good and he did his best so he can retire in peace with Benzema and everyone else in Arabia

Yeah, they did. But nove of the goals were his fault. Actually he saved few great shots which would leave Dinamo without chances in the second game today. Besides, he is the first goalkeeper in the Croatian national team which won the bronze medal in Qatar and silver medal in Russia. That's why I think he will be a great replacement for Buono in Sevilla.

I actually included them on my ticket yesterday and it passed, that is something almost impossible in my personal relationship with Valencia. Still wouldn't give them opportunity to screw me but there was a severe lack of good pairs yesterday and it worked out fine. Now they are on probation, and maybe I will even remove them from blacklist. Bruh I oopsied again and I forgot to update the superbru prediction before the Villareal game, I usually put any score so I won't use a default pick few days before the game and do the actual analysis in the day or in the day prior, except this time I forgot to actually put it in the pool. I need to at least triple check everything from now on.
Also I noticed the leaderboard shows me with 1.5 points while I made 6 points last round, hopefully it will be corrected soon enough.

but for me, Valencia is more interesting, I expect to see VCF in full swing tonight against Las Palmas, odds have value @1.65, thinking to bold it with handicap, -1, and -2, we were above average against Sevilla, but home opener can propel as to the top, at least tonight, and that chance should not be missed

I went with a draw on Villareal vs. Mallorca. I know it's a tough choice but maybe Mallorca can equalize and give me 1.5 points. As for Valencia, I expected an easy win for them. I just hope that I get more points in this round than in the first round.
