Too make it even worse, Benzema actually missed two penalties yesterday. I guess even he can have a day off. He will score when it is important. These games when result is in Real favor are not the ones he excells in  Grin

I am sure he would have scored if Real was loosing.

Good. Get all the bad juju out of his system so he can't miss against Ederson. If that's the extent of his day off, I'm more than happy to oblige. Like you said, eh, big game player. I'm already considering another big dump on Real (worked a treat against Chelsea) and happy to see the odds for them against City is so far already above 6/1. Love those odds!

Much as I hate to admit it, you can't deny that these big players turn up when needed most. I mean look at Salah, or Mane, you trust them to win the tough games when they're losing. And same with Barca I would say, our stars I hate to say Messi but he was also the same until the shit hit the fan with Barca. They have off days, like everyone else but you know they show up when you need them most.

Oh I also take Real Madrid now after seeing this Smiley Pair Multibet with Barca vs Rayo on Sunday for 7.3x

LOL  Grin Yeah i agree for this one
Benzema is the kind of players who made to steal the show, Last night if Real Madrid was losing the match like 2-0 Benzema gonna score the two penalties and more.

It should be noted that Benzema has enough experience on the field that nothing will affect him next match will score like nothing happened unlike the young players.

This week, 4 out 5 teams near the relegation zone either won or somehow managed to draw their game. Meanwhile, every team in the top 6 except Real madrid dropped points. So yeah, season's ending, teams are exhausted, so expect the unexpected. Props to anyone getting some points in our pool, games are pretty much a coin flip at this point yet there are people who keep earning pts (:
Crazy stuff. I already said in curreent phase of season we can expect to see bottom table teams making upsets, but I really didn't even imagined so many surprises. There is way too much red color on mu Superbru profile :/

If only I could paint all that red back to green, I mentioned in the other pool that I am actually doing much better in pools where I'm not really thinking, rather than in La Liga where I thought all this while it's my most understood one.

Anyway, the only thing everyone expected last night was Real Madrid winning.

And the only thing truly unexpected is Benzema not getting his goal (or rather, not converting penalty).

who would think that Celta will lose at home, after winning at Bilbao
Real confirmed their title with this win, it would be a title without it as well, but now there is nothing they can do to lose it

will be interesting fight on lower end, seems that Granada will visit Segunda next season, which is a really "do not want" scenario for me, but they are playing worst football at the moment

waiting for CDR final over the weekend

Yes, results of most of the matches goes to normal team now. Every team is playing so good and we are not able to predict exactly what will be happened. But at this time, every match is going to very interesting to watch.

Yeah Betis screwed me too. Not sure what I was thinking, had them on an already ambitious ticket with Liverpool on 2 legs, and then they had to go lose. Not worse than Barca losing of course, feel sorry for you fans.

it is a bit off-topic, but it would be worse if Chelsea pass-through to see Chelsea - Liverpool in another 0:0 final, since they already played League cup final, will play FA cup, and third would be too much
with City was just a semi-final close to League match, and of course fight in Premier league

back to topic, Betis lost home match, and lowered their CL ambitions, it is really a shit-show between those teams in La Liga, that are below top3

Sorry for continuing a bit off topic but no, I really really want Real if we go to the final.

- don't want City to ever win UCL
- don't want to meet Chelsea for the third final
- don't want to meet City for the fourth time
- still want revenge for THAT Real final

No use looking to that match though, we need to take care of Villareal first. Happy memories as that was my first ever game at Anfield, we were trailing 0-1 from the first leg in Europa at the time. That Danjuma guy looks so dangerous.

Or maybe because we would all be sick of seeing City Liverpool again?

I like goals and especially both to score on Real game. After latest blunder from Barca they are practically champions and I expect them to give a bit of rest to Benzema and Modrić at least befor CL. Could be anything in that game.

Agreed. I need them to beat City, not that I'm against City but I kinda am. I should be against Real too and I have to remember what Pep did but City's the kind of PSG monster that needs to be stopped. Couldn't stop Chelsea from winning by throwing money but hope to try stop other super rich clubs from doing the same. Or that's the excuse I have o prefer my arch enemy to beat a team I don't even care about.

there is a mid-week round, prepare your picks for tonight

most interesting match is between Barca and Sociedad, which can go on any side, although Sociedad did not succeed to win over Betis, but home advantage could get them to no-lose result
Real is playing in Pamplona, and that is also interesting, they have already won the title, have CL semi-final in mind, Osasuna does not need points as well, they are mid-table, so could be goals there

Have to remeber to do picks after getting home today. And couldn't hurt to grade our free bet challenge as well

Well I hope someone made the Cadiz pick for a huge upset because of course I lost a lot of bets on Barca, not even 1x2 even, big handicaps and all that plus over goals whatever, I've no idea what went wrong, don't even want to see match reports.

Boogeyteam for sure man.

~snip

This suggests to me Atletico will drop points today  Roll Eyes
it was a close call for Atletico, but Bilbao is losing home match with Celta, which comes as surprise for me
maybe Real could lose points tonight, Sevilla is a good team, but honestly I do not believe in them to be capable to win home match, they could not win over Barca when situation was much different, in their advantage

I was almost right wasn't I? The penalty they needed to win was absolutely bonkers too, I would never ever have called VAR as I saw nothing and even replays showed nothing. Oh Atletico Smiley

Man, being a Barca fan last week was rough, i mean, KO from europa league, real madrid qualified to semis in CL and they just beat sevilla... Now they start off the week with a loss AND the whole thing with Pique and the president of the spanish footbll federation. Well, when it rains it pours Cheesy

agree, before Eintracht looked that Barca is on to something, now they are completely down
nevertheless, I would like to see Betis in Champions league next season, but on the expense on their city rival, not Barca or Atletico, Sevilla is really not top team

and Betis in CL would mean Valencia in EL, no matter cup final result Smiley, although I expect that we will win that one

It's likely that Cadiz will relegate from league despite this win, but they have simply amazing H2H with Barca in these two seasons - 2 wins and 2 draws.
Today's game was simply embarrasing and Cadiz win wasn't luck or something similar. It's well deserved result. It's simply amazing how everything can turn into worse side just in one week. When I saw that there is Garca and Lenglet in starting swuad, I already had fears that it may not end good for us.

after everything's that's happened over the last few weeks, i'm 100% sure that Madrid losing 0-4 to Barca was nothing more than a glitch in the matrix, it was that 1 game out of 100... seriously, how tf did we lose to this Barcelona? LOL

Teams should start to use those "bad" minutes much better and put the game beyond salvation.
Man City and Pep are taking notes, they're going to be relentless in both legs of the semis

Yes and not only this... for me the loses in the match was insignificant against the fact they show to all the world they are a very bad fans. They always chant and say things for catalunya and more but when the things go "wrong" they dissapear? They deserve to go down the pipe for this. One only season of bad results and they dont full the stadium? this show they have a ton of "tourist fans" and no real fans.
The other day for UEL the Eintrach Frankfurt embarrassed them not only on the pitch but also in the stands.

I thought that Atalanta will be main mess-up tonight, but as far it is now, all matches will be without home win
Barca is down at home vs Cadiz, Napoli did not won over Roma, and Verona is leading 0:2 in Bergamo

shitty Monday, as always
