Don't have time for highest yellow cap now, if somebody has, please check it out and write it here. I'll do it in the evening anyway. I am still missing addresses from casparBGD and hahay and hover got that yellow cap.

Actually this is a season that makes me a little pessimistic in this superbru tournament. Maybe you also realized that in a few weeks I became your competitor in the EPL pool, La Liga and Serie A as well. But after that I fell and it was difficult to come back at least for the top five, it's a tough competition and I admit you and they are great predictors.

I definitely realised, and thought you'd probably take a spot. MoSala and casper though, great predictors and late season chargers.
Sadly, or not, now I feel good about my chances next season. As you might know, this season I threw out my old style and went for form + favourites + gut, in that order. Used to always play gut + form + favourites, in that order haha.
And it seems to work, in all 3 leagues. I'm definitely sticking with that strategy again (form is the best indicator I think!) and see if the results can't be repeated.

Great competition guys. Congrats to @CasperBGD amazing performance and well deserved win. I was 1.5 pts behind him before the last 3 games and had to put some unpopular predictions and hope for the best. Thanks @Trofo for putting in the work and organizing this for us.

Damn, it was so difficultto watch Barca today, same like in previous round. It was meaningless game for Barca, but it's disrespect for fans to play like today. While for Villarreal it was important game and they deserved to win and earn place in UEFA Conference League in this way.
While Sevilla managed to beat Athletic and leave them without UEFA cups in this way.
After all, it was bad season for Barca. Xavi bring some bright colors when he come, but that loss against Eintracht was painful. For me this season in pool was bad too, especially considering that I was 3rd last year, now dropped to 9th. Already waiting for next season to go up again

Villareal definitely deserved to win but Barca after making so much progress and clinching 2nd spot should have ended the season for their fans.
Don't worry about pool, we go again for sure next season. This was supposed to be the pool I thought I would do well, but I ended up finishing 11th, which is really bad even worse than Serie A which I picked at random

Valencia's win was... unexpected. Or so I thought because adding a prediction to win was supposed to be a surprise upset/win and I switched to Celta Vigo but there it went, just couldn't even score lol

Harko, yeah you and me in it till the end! I've managed to lose positions in all the pools in the final quarter, which is a bit sad (it's always sadder to slowly regress rather than slowly progress) but I think if anyone gets something at all it's a pretty damned fine achievement. Not to mention the wonderful friendships of the bastards.

Oh man oh man I am for sure in. I don't know why people have a problem with fees when it's as you guys say, so much more worth it to pay this fee and get so many chances for freebets and prizes.
I do know it was quite a lot if converted to money in Asia, and the EPL fee was probably quite big but if you spread it over 38 games, the price becomes what you would bet anyway in one day on one or two games.

For the last place with reward we have another close fight, between Harkorede and Sojourner.
And then there's hahay too in the contest for the 4th Position, I doubt I'd be able overthrow both Sojourner and Hahay though, but it's been the closest I've ever come in the La Liga pool, despite being a Barcelona fan, I just don't follow up with other teams as much as do with the first 4-5 teams, hence my consistent poor performance.

just passing by to say that i had a great time in this season of La liga pool. Dissapointed that i didn't finish in the top spots, but still, i enjoyed all the discussion and banter that we had over the past 9 months, lovely community we have here
Glad you enjoyed it, hope to see you here next year, maybe you liked it enough to join in the Serie A as well. So I expected Real to play without their first team players tonight and picked x2 on Betis considering it as free money. Then they started with all the best players and I thought bet is lost. In the end 0:0 was good enough for me.

Tempted to just not watch any football tonight and finish up pending work instead, though I was kind of interested to see Real Madrid play to see if they would give any clues to THE match in a week.
I actually kind of hope they rest all their key players. I like rested players but I think more than a week and you sacrifice game sharpness, which I hope our boys will have playing their final game on Sunday.

You couldn't have said it any better, this was EXACTLY what I was talking to my friend about when discussing which team is going to play their hearts out and which won't. I don't know the history so well but Gerrard never won the premier league with his team, and he hates Manchester, and he is a pro, but there was the millions they would get you mentioned in another thread which my friend also mentioned which he says will mean City will have an easy game.
But everyone will remember Villa if they take City's title away, just like even though City won by goal difference on 2 last minute goals, I don't remember the year but I remember the team that almost did it is QPR. Weird right?
