@jayce : you won again huh, grats mate !

That 2 goals on injury time really change the odds in your favour. You are on a roll since last week

I thought I had it there, I made a bet on half time that there wont be a 3rd goal and the odds was over 4. I was abit worried when 8 minutes was shown as the added time but when its was around 95th, I said to myself that it would be totally stupid if either of these two would lose right then boom that 3rd goal was scored oh well it was lame

Brilliant play from Arsenal, they dominated the game for majority of the game, except for some flashes of brilliance from Manchester United, one of such cases where Garnacho went through and scored only to be ruled out by VAR for offside, that decision was so tight and could have swung the three points the other way.

Liverpool were also very impressive against a tricky opponent to play against, and Crystal Palace continue to improve and impress this season.

Damn Gabriel Jesus, I was close to getting the exact score from that fixture

Just back from Anfield, thought we were really impressive. The midfield has so much more energy than last season. It’s early days but we could be a real force this season.

Here was my view -

Nice view, despite being early they say the sun can be spotted early in the morning and so far except the first game against Chelsea which strangely they looked like a Championship team in the second half there, since then they have gradually improved a lot and I agree they can be a real force in the season.

Arsenal put up a great show tonight and apparently the bookies were right at 1.75 odd for Arsenal,I thought how come such low odds despite Manchester United not being in top form they still are Manchester United and anytime these teams have played together the odds of the home have been 2 or so.

Last season, Chelsea and Spurs and United were the gifts that kept on giving. I took 2 separate freebets involving Chelsea's loss but actually felt confident enough to follow up with this one:

My regret was not doing it earlier when you could easily get 9/1 with a price boost. Chelsea, United, for the time being, if you see 7/1 against them, take it. Depending on Liverpool, go against them too -- but judging from odds, bookies don't rate them too well.

Chelsea looks like it will be a cash cow again for those who bet on underdogs  Cheesy The question is how long it will last - if they continue to play like they did last season, then the odds will quickly drop to unfavorable (although against the basement of the table Chelsea must be favorites anyway? Paradox hehe).

It seems that Rice is putting an end to the Arsenal-United game, and Ten Hag needs to look again for someone who is "to blame for everything"  Grin

upd: Wow Jesus! 3-1!  Grin

I don't understand why Chelsea is blundering. Didn't they have a great pre-season? If I can remember correctly, they haven't lost a single match in the pre-season. They have invested heavily and changed the manager but nothing is working. This has been happening especially after the changes in ownership, since Todd Boehly took over.
Well, they have spent a huge sum but they didn't get a proper scorer where they are lacking, imo.

The entire preseason was a waste of time because we are using the exact opposite configuration that we used in our preseason games. The three best preseason players have been loaned out. The joke is on POCH. I'm starting to believe that the entire back four was built around Nkunku, and when he got injured Poch was at a loss for what to do because there was no plan B. Chilwell replaced Mudrik on the left wing. Jackson has no help up front and must fall back every time to pick up the ball. He's doing far too much for a striker. Our scouting crew should be ashamed.

Can we stop talking about Chelsea now, it is giving me frustration LOL

Could have been even better for LFC today if Nunez were just a bit more clinical, but he scored last week when it was important. Who cares about today Smiley
I am glad that Nunez missed to score from an easy chance [or I messed it up with someone else, I was switching between Palace vs Wolves and Liverpool vs Villa] or I would not able to get my first exact score in EPL pool LOL. Feel a bit better to be able to climb few spots in the leader-board. Hope Arsenal vs Utd match ends well. I think I have 2 - 1 for Arsenal today.

Liverpool doing the job much easier than expected today but I sort of think this is more about Aston Villa. Still very small sample size but it seems to me that Villa will be excellent against smaller clubs and then loose big against stronger ones. They were nowhere against Newcastle in second half, they are really poor today and in between they destroyed weaker opposition.

Yeah Aston Villa is doing well relatively as they were qualified to group stages easily in the Europa Conference League and being maybe a contender there since last year the competition was won by West Ham which is in the same level as a team with Aston Villa.

I agree though, they were devastated by Newcastle in the first game of the season and right now by Liverpool who had a very easy game and made a lot of bettors easy as usually we don't see an 1.60 odd of Liverpool when playing at home against Aston Villa in different context, meaning when Liverpool is the favorite they have the odd of 1.35 to 1.45 most of the time.

Just to be confirmed, I haven't seen any UCL pool here. If I can remember correctly, last year hilariousandco hosted the UCL pool here but I can't see anything now. Although I have joined so many pools, UCL would be great fun and I would gladly join.
I almost forgot LOL we still have few more weeks before the kick off, I think by then hilariousandco is going to sort it out. Although I am too disappointed to even show any interest in the matches however to keep things moving with the community, I will join the pool as usual.

Can we stop talking about Chelsea now, it is giving me frustration LOL

Liverpool is 3 - 0 up.

F*** man! Good for you. See what they cost me LOL.

No doubt Liverpool is going to score few more goals in in the next remaining minutes, I don't see any reason for Barcelona not to win means I lost a good odd of 9.76 only for Fucking Chelsea.

I don't understand my internet today. Down right at Liverpool match. Data works but I'll kill it if I stream so I'm stuck with beers and live commentary and BTT haha

I don't understand football at all with Newcastle. But I made wrong pick in almost all the games, hope Liverpool don't disappoint because Matty Cash and Olie Watkins are really on top form.

Salah is Muslim, and there is no better place to raise children than Saudi Arabia; he has already won everything in Europe, and his work in Europe is over. With what the Saudis are providing, it's time for him to have a stronger retirement plan. Salah wants to leave Liverpool, but he's being held at gunpoint at Anfield.

I don't know much about these things but Saudi brand of Islam doesn't always agree with every other Muslim. Some believe it's too extreme while I believe countries like Egypt and Turkey have a different take, so it's not the best thing necessarily.

I think Salah loves his family tho so you got a point, if he moves it's for family security. He and family will never be loved more outside Liverpool tho I believe.

Well not for Newcastle that lost to Brighton but I cant believe that Chelsea would lose to Nottingham in a home game. Poch is really going to risk his entire reputation now if he keep on not getting those 3 points for the upcoming games. I gotta say that Im happy Chelsea didnt win but I didnt even picture them losing to Nottingham at this point.

Its even more surprising that @mitchr4 and @Avirunes were actually predicting Chelsea to lose

Whats with Liverpool rejecting £100m + add ons for 30yrs old Salah? that's a crazy amount to reject for someone who will walkout for less next season. Big mistake.

Wow I just saw the news too, the original offer was 30m so I guess they think they can get 150m now, I think if January window comes they might be tempted if they are not in top 4 by then. Big mistake, but do you really think Salah will walk out for less when he still believes he can challenge t prime level for a few more years?

City vs Fulham, Chelsea vs Forest. I have bets for both home team in an 8 fold. While there are no doubt about City but I hope Chelsea do not choke.

I feel sorry for you - they did choke as usual.

Chelsea after 4 rounds has 4 points and their usual 11th place  Grin
What's wrong with this team? It's good that Bayern won minimally today (and thus my multibet would still not work due to the fact that I bet on Bayern to win with a handicap), otherwise I would have been very upset.

Son Heung Min pleased me today - it was not for nothing that I took him to my fantasy team  Smiley

Chelsea was a surprise but not the Newcastle loss. Brighton have been brilliant all season and only failed to win against WestHam were they absolutely dominated the game with almost 80% of the possession and the Hammers relying on the counter attack play to score against the run of play. They were also playing at home which gave them even more chances of winning.

It was a game that could have gone either way but Brighton winning was not unexpected, maybe the scoreline was however.

A week of surprise results I would call this so far with Chelsea losing and also Newcastle losing, these are normal in Premier League as the Premier League is full of surprises when it comes to results but this season have started with a lot of them since the early weeks of the Premier League while we have witnessed the highest level of surprises in the latest weeks of the season at least in the last couple of seasons.

Tomorrow good games and Arsenal will have a true test of their strength against Manchester United which for me based on what I have seen from both teams,Arsenal should win the game of tomorrow,in the pool now that I am checking I see 4 positions up but the amount of points is not satisfying in these first weeks.

Brighton have been absolutely great in the first half. Newcastle could not get close to them all through the first 45', they controlled the pace of the game and made things very difficult for Newcastle when they got the ball and it was one of such pressure high up the field that led to the goal.
Roberto De Zerbi has done great with the players at his disposal, playing brilliant football even after losing two of their key midfielders.

I hope Newcastle can rescue the match cause I predicted a victory for them 1 - 2. They need to be a totally different side in the 2nd half to stand a chance.

I hope Chelsea do not choke.
They did.
