Unfortunately, this is the only time I will not be watching much of the CL matches, nor do I have a club to support; normally, without Chelsea, I would have supported Real Madrid and Hazard, or PSG and Messi, but neither of my favourite players left on good terms, so I am currently clubless. Newcastle United is a shambles; they have all the money in the world, yet the club's quality is UEFA Conference League level at best.I complained about it at the end of last season, hoping that the new owners would bring in quality players to strengthen the team's chances in the CL, but they didn't do anything. They are literally heading to the CL with Gardon and Almiron as their best playmakers.
It can be discouraging when key additions are needed to improve the team's prospects of winning the Champions League. The demands of top-tier European competition like the Champions League can necessitate a better calibre of talent than what players like Gardon and Almiron may possess. Many supporters have great expectations for the team's new ownership to make significant signings that will improve their level of competition.
Football is full of surprises, and often teams with a lot less than they appear to have may outperform expectations because to collaboration, strategy, and willpower. Despite the disappointment of not having a club you actively support right now, you might still enjoy watching games from a distance or learning about new players and teams.
