Liverpool hasn't been competitive since Mane departed, and now Salah is tempted to leave. What is Liverpool's plan? And Klopp pull isn't that great.
True, since Mane departed, we are not meeting our expectation. But no player can stay all the time with a club always. One must need to leave at some point. These days the Middle east football is attracting some attentions, isn't it?

Only one upset on my mind this weekend. We need to deToon the Army.
1 - 3 win for Liverpool or a Draw you think 😉

Chelski can pay everything they want. Klopp doesn't;t want players who don't want to wear the shirt. I think it all works out in the end.

Shocker for me is Mitrovic leaving after starting a game. Fulham no longer looks like a winner without him (I say this not because he can't be replaced but because of what he meant, how he left, and when he left). Shame as I was looking forward to their big upsets.

Liverpool leaving the bid after being rejected was a dumb idea. They ruined the market for us and for future plans.

Dumb and irresponsible, but somehow it worked to spoil a rival. I fear market will not calm down and just get crazier Sad My club is to blame also.

Why did they take so long to pay off Lavia fees if they had so much money to spend? The problem, I believe, is whoever is in charge of negotiations, not the Liverpool owners. What are your opinions on Salah leaving for Saudi Arabia? ( No official contract yet)

If Salah decides to leave, it's likely that Liverpool has plans to restructure and develop the team. The question remains, who will be the club's savior for this season? The transfer window is still open, and Liverpool must make a quick decision before it's too late. Jürgen impact and leadership have been historically significant for the team, but the outcome of these situations is subject to various variables.

Tomorrow we have: Chelsea vs Luton

Luton's recent win over Chelsea was in 1991, and I don't expect them to be strong enough to withstand the Blues' attacks tomorrow.

Pochettino will be a difference maker though, if Boehly gives him time. I'm afraid time is not something Chelsea likes to give.

If Chelsea does not give time to Pochettino they know very well what will happen next,to all the guys, the coaches that they did not give time,as soon as they started to change coaches they started losing games and going from bad to worse so most likely Chelsea management has learned from their mistakes as if they keep repeating them then Chelsea will keep going down and more down.

For me Pochettino is the right guy to lead Chelsea to come out from these bad results and with West Ham was only bad, very bad luck.

They changed over 10 in the last 15 seasons? So they know, yet they don't care. Winning titles is not enough for them, they want immediate changes. So that's why I am unsure if Pochettino gets the time he needs. Chelsea is not a normal club, proven by this shopping spree that never ends.

Anyone up for a side bet? 1mbtc or 2mbtc max.

Harry Kane will score more goals in this Bundesliga season than Haaland in the Premier League. Could be goals + assistis or 2 points by goal and 1 point or anything.
So far Kane has 1 goal in 1 game and Haaland has 2 goals in 2 games, therefore they are pretty much even.

The winner(s) of the Round 3 Yellow Cap will also win a Southampton shirt  Cool
~snip

will have to put my picks carefully for this round, but it will probably end-up as disaster, as in any round with Southampton shirt on offer so far
nevertheless, thanks to Sportsbet and you for more opportunities to win that one

regarding the round, as it seems that there is a lot of one-sided duels, exact scores on those easy winnings would come as decision makers

I dont like Pochetino at all, but its clearly its not his fault, Chelsea team and club seems to be the cursed one, yes i can said i dont like so much the players he is selecting to play and also the last incorporations to the team, but this its more a subjetive thing.

Chelsea and Liverpool both lost on this transfer if you ask me. Liverpool needed the player but lost him and in process managed to remove a hefty amount from Chelsea pocket. I know you don't want to hear it but Chelsea transfer policy is criminal, you guys spent so much on frankly mostly mediocre players. I said the same in that transfer window when Boehly decided to buy everything and I will say it again now. Only difference is you have better coach now so maybe he will manage to salvage something.

Liverpool had the best transfer only a few seasons ago but I believe this time they were surprised of losing almost all midfield, and then no choice but pay high fees.

Caicedo seems to be a trick from Liverpool, they knew Chelsea wanted him so they left the bid lol I doubt they ever pay that much for 2nd rate urgent need.

Pochettino will be a difference maker though, if Boehly gives him time. I'm afraid time is not something Chelsea likes to give.

I hope Todd Boehly's model works out for the better because we don't have any reason not to compete given what we've spent so far.
It is not looking like it will at all and the owner seems to be more of a businessman than a football fan who is passionate about the results on the pitch.

I'd say he's passionate about building for the long term; the results may not be evident right now, but the money he's spent on young players may turn out to be exactly what we needed in 3-4 years. We had been used to buying players for short-term gain, which is what has led to where we are today (total revamp). The future is great.

The big winners here are the smaller clubs who groom or buy the young talents for cheap and then sell them off to much bigger clubs and it only seems fitting cause there is an an obvious imbalance in available resources between clubs and this is the only way to bridge that gap and allow clubs to compete more evenly.

No, you are right; we have spent over a billion pounds and yet our midfield and attack still seem average; the Chelsea I know only throw money at experienced and proven players rather than investing £100m, £70m on random U24 players.

Half of these billions were spent on random Brazilian kids and loaned out right away. I hope Todd Boehly's model works out for the better because we don't have any reason not to compete given what we've spent so far.

Brighton losing their top midfielders and being top of the league after the first two games (still too early), with a total of 8 goals scored (which is the highest so far by any club) is a great feat. The club is one of the best managed in the league with the little resources available to them.
And now resources are coming as well, that transfer fee for Caicedo was a real robbery and I don't understand why would Chelsea ever agree to deal like that.

Chelsea only agreed to pay an £80m package for Caidedo; everyone knows he's not a £100m player; but, Liverpool's owners believe he's worth more than Brighton's £100m asking price and gave them £110m. We only paid that much because Liverpool refused to withdraw their bid after the player rejected them. Why isn't Liverpool accepting full responsibility for inflating the entire transfer package?

The next Brighton robbery train is Mitoma and Estu- I'm sure these players do not have a release clause in their contracts.

Arsenal make sure they are keeping up, but relying on penalty for win, and losing their player for red card now looks like they are facing difficult times.
For the last 10 minutes Arsenal did not have any known forward player. If they would concede a goal then there were no way for them to comeback, they needed to settle with a draw. They were a headache for me though. It was stressful because one of my 6 fold was depending on their win.

Thanks sportsbet.io for the free bet. Later I discovered another free bet in my account and this time I took higher risk LOL

I will share the slip later.

Tables lie of course at such early start of season. City had 1 tough opponent, Chelsea and Liverpool had 1 tough one, Spurs look like the winner for Top 5. New UCL format is Top 5 right?

Moisés Caicedo is actually a very fantastic player but he's definitely worth nothing near half the price Chelsea had to pay for him, and Brighton aren't looking like a team who misses him anyway, while having an heavy fortune in bank for him.
And he now has to play to that price tag cause the media is going to constantly put him under pressure to justify the money Chelsea spent on him, even if he is playing "decent" it will not be good enough.
The coach has a big job to manage the players and maintain their confidence while keeping them on their toes to perform to par.

as it looks now, Everton can be saved only by Sheffield, Wolves and Luton being worse than them, they don't want to be better
They have started some previous seasons good but ended up terribly. Maybe a bad start could turn good for a change.

Yeah casper, tough luck for Everton really. Great escapes are only nice if they're the springboard for success a la Leicester City but you've got to question why they'd fight so hard to keep  barely staying up.

Chelsea, Caicedo, yeah. Schadenfreude at its finest. I'll enjoy every loss they make. Not much skin for me in tonight's game but it's something to watch on Monday!
