It doesn't need to be heavily moderated to work, it's just about the OP stating the rules of engagement in the thread in the first post, and local rule of no off topic posts that doesn't include the finalization of a sidebet by the two users. If that's been done any other post would only need to be reported and most likely will get deleted by the admins based on the local rules, it might take while to make the thread a perfect one, but I think it would work out well, just like the collectibles section.

And about the thread getting lost in middle of all threads overtime, it's easier to bookmark or enable following for just one thread. You'll also need to bookmark the spreadsheet or look for the post containing the link as well as time goes on.

The losing side is going to pay the Premier League pool entry fee of the winner next season. Even though the amount changes every year this equals to nearly 75 dollars. As I make so many side bets this is a good amount for me. Although I have made so many side bets this season I'm still not satisfied due to not being able to make a side bet with buwaytress. Tongue

Individual performance based bet means relaying on one individual. It's hard to predict many factors, factors like health comes first, no doubt about the ability though but one simple injury can ruin everything. Lately I am thinking to walk away. I will pass.

It might be random but some football knowledge will go into the picks you made. You rode a expected difficult first match week which many will struggle to predict many wins or losses.
Now we have to come for your yellow cap next matchweek.

A decent start for me though I missed some pretty easy predictions which affected the overall points.

I saw that 21 points too.That is massive points for a single round with ten games and the beauty of it is that it is not over yet.Maybe he has played a lot of draws and if this is his playing style overall he will lose points and positions Grin

.He got a lot of points yesterday so most probably he had played the draws in those games of yesterday which few people predicted seeing how the ranking updated from Saturday to yesterday.It is just the first week though but yeah that guy set a new record for 10 games weeks even if he does not get any point in tonight game.

Couldn't agree more. Jota got a yellow for asking the ref to give a yellow -- also one of the many new rules in place. I like that, as I've always been annoyed by players telling the ref how to do his job.

Fair. Bruno is gonna pack a lot of yellow card this season for always crying and teaching refs their job.
