This is the Arsenal we all know they never ever finish a season strong- they are going to mess up till the end of the season.

What a messy game,I was watching the second half while I was having a drink and I saw a complete non existent Arsenal,it seems that they are just playing in vain now.To think that at a certain point they were dominating the season and were a 9 point lead from Manchester City, seems like they are again in old times when they were led by Arsen Venger when we were joking that we don't know any team in which place they will be in the end of the season while we were sure Arsenal would have end 4th and they exactly finished 4th.

On another note I see that in the pool everybody did really bad with such results and no one moved up or down a lot,so most likely we will be leaving anything for the final week next Sunday.

Don't quote me as I haven't really followed new rules but pretty sure things haven't changed in a while.

I had to read up on the rules again, winners of champions still get automatically qualification, but that slot doesn't transfer down the pecking order for the 5th positioned team in the league, except the CL winning team itself finishes outside the top 4 in the league.

And if a team who finishes out of the top wins the Europa league they automatically takes the place of the 4th team and qualify for the CL without playing any qualifiers- this was the case of Totteham and Chelsea in 2013 when Chelsea won the Europa and finished 6th. the Europa league winner auto CL qualification started with Chelsea.

Arsenal is screwing up big time again,of course they can as they play for nothing but also Nottingham plays for nothing so I expect goals in the second half of this game.

This week games were terrible for me,I have not checked the results but I assume to have lost several positions by such results,I just needed a goal from Liverpool and then I would have be doing good overall.Arsenal is screwing up big time again,of course they can as they play for nothing but also Nottingham plays for nothing so I expect goals in the second half of this game.

Really bad Liverpool today, they had chances, missed a lot of them and Aston Villa beside scoring the goal and losing the penalty did not show anything, these are lost points for Liverpool and they should be happy with Europa League now.

I need that points, more than Everton needs Tongue

it is a rather important point for Everton as well
but, win was more needed than this point, obviously hard to expect to in row aside this season

Liverpool also ended 1:1, and blowed their CL chances, United and Newcastle will be in qualifications next season

Tottenham is really boogie this season, 66 scored, 62 conceived, entertainment team, no ambitions

Liverpool's hope are gone now. We have nothing left in this season. Newcastle and Utd don't need to worry anymore. Villa was too good at defense? Or were not up to the mark to defeat their defense.

My bet to win Liverpool lost too. A day I fucked up totally and Liverpool did too.

Have you made a money bet on Liverpool?
Nope, lost a big chunk of the deposits of over 3.2 mBTC. Had 1.5 mBTC on Liverpool to win.

Noooooo man, again and again i have the exact score in my hands on Wolves but a late nonsense goal comes in the last play and took out my prediction.
I had the same with Wolves LOL

Liverpool and Aston Villa gave me 3 points as I guessed the exact score. I decided to take a chance and make a prediction not according to the opinion of the bookmakers, but according to my analysis (which I wrote about in every thread - that Liverpool won't make 9 wins at the finish line) and I'm glad that I was right.

Man Utd are currently are ahead with less than 30 minutes to go, while Liverpool have just had a goal ruled out, I guess it's high time to call it a day with this position and CL qualification race.

I would not mind putting money for Liverpool today against Astor Villa but I don't think we have any chance to in the Top four. Newcastle needs one more win to secure their position. May be our last hope will be Man U LOL

Well they got a goal too. Could have been 2 up if Ollie didn't miss the penalty. United are comfortable from what I can tell so unless we shake ourselves out of this strange game, we may have conceded our already-slim hopes on our own.
I have now 1.7 mBTC on Liverpool to win and around same amount of bet for both team to score. Come on Liverpool! Don't disappoint me.
To be honest if we have even a slight chance of being on top four, losing this match means we have nothing left even in theory.

Stressful to watch.

VAR's already reviewing latest foul, no serious foul play on Mings despite catching Diaz Gakpo on the head (and being the last man). Let's see what we do with injury time - sure to be 8 at least.

A bump to the topic. In half an hour we have round 37 kicking off. 20 users have not made their picks yet. Wake up!!!

@LFC_Bitcoin A chance? Heh. Talking to the guy who thought Mane would stay when all the talk was otherwise. But yeah, putting money on Liverpool winning the rest, and ETH dropping points... I love lose-lose situations (sad laughing emoji)

Wait a minute aren't Man City through the finals already, and if they win the league doesn't that make Premier League eligible for 5 teams representation ? or am I misinterpreting the rule, I don't remember vividly but I know that winners of the Champions League get an automatic appearance to defend their title the upcoming season even if they get relegated or are out of the top 4 position for leagues with 4 team representatives for the season, but I don't remember what happens when a team that wins the champions league have qualified already via league position, their slot goes directly to the next eligible team, doesn't it ? and that in this case would be Liverpool if they're able maintain their 5th position.

Yeah Liverpool Istanbul was what kicked off that ruling. You always defend the cup so you play even if you don't qualify via league placing, but must go through qualifying. But it doesn't grant extra spots... Otherwise Spain would be getting 5 teams every season from league alone haha.

You can still get five actually but only if non top 4 league finishers win Europa.

I cropped out the top 10 to remind everybody who is playing for the serious money.

Good luck to all involved as the season nears its completion.

Possibly mitchr4 and darbit the only two guys who can win the pool unless somebody comes from below with an epic late run.

Yes but its really hard to catch, in the last 5 rounds we are having the same exact results in the mayority of the games, plus he have the tibreak in his favour, lets see how it ended.
But 3 points its really close end, also like you said a guy with a magnificent last run can catch us with a ton of luck.

No truer words, in the end.

I think our last win was a start of something, Klopp's Reds 2.0. Bobby saying farewell, and everyone just looking happy again (when was the last time, right?). Salah will be the last bit of remnants of that dogged frontline, a huge chunk of our midfield leaving, but yeah, it really felt like it was the start of something new.

Ten Hag won't choke, and I feel like we're not playing for CL, just playing for next season. See you there, brother, on the arse end of Europe haha.

If there was any game that one would have expected Newcastle to drop points, It should have been against Brighton, but now it's look like they're not going to give up that position, the most would be to expect a flop from Man United, but how probable is that ?, Let's just hope Leicester City can muster up some energy or momentum to get themselves something possible from the game.

Same here. Even losing to Leicester won't be enough to haul them back, it's that kind of hope I no longer want to entertain too much. Stats give Newcastle 95% and United 82% of UCL finish. We are at 15%.

Still worth throwing money at for sure heh heh.

So you’re telling me there’s a chance?

I think that there is always a chance when Manchester United is playing, they are screwing up really big lately and who guarantee us that the won't screw it up again in these 2 remaining games of this season?I think that if it is a reality that they screw up Liverpool is there to grab the points as Liverpool is playing a great football lately which brought them 7 consecutive victories if I recall correctly and I doubt they will stop now, they are eager to continue winning and in the worse case Europa League is still some sort of achievement for this season who started really bad for Liverpool,so overall nothing to lose for Liverpool in these two last games.

Newcastle won’t slip up now, they will be in the CL next season now. They only need to beat Leicester in their next game to guarantee it.

I have to hope Man Utd drop points in 2 of their 3 remaining games which also seems unlikely.

We gotta win 2 out of 3 remaining games to ensure that last spot for UCL. Well against bournemouth, it shouldnt been an issue but against Chelsea next fixture could be different. Alot is at stake for the last 2-3 rounds, Ten Hag' whole career is at stake and it United ended up not getting top 4 then I can only imagine how its going to be miserable for him

Best case scenario for us would be to get top 4 and win the FA Cup final thus deny Pep's chance of getting another treble

Ferguson’s legacy depends on you beating them in the FA Cup final. No English team other than Man Utd has ever won the Holy Grail treble before. Obviously Man City will always be criticised as the Oil FFP Cheats but you can not let them win that final.

I do however hope for a miracle and Bournemouth get a draw or something tomorrow though.

Wink
