What the f)(k was this two matches?

Fulham Leicester 5-3 but in the reality Fulham was never on troubles in term on result. But 8 goals its a lot.

And........ Brigthon??? What the fuck they do? i dont see the game, but also in the stats they were dominant, Everton only shoot and cross midfield like 5 times and scores 5 goals? sriously? how this can happen? Well yes Football.

Big points for everton and Bye bye to the UCL dream to Brighton.

For the pool..... how nobody have the guts to put a everton 5-1 win?   Rdbase where are you? And sojourner most know as buwaytress?
Even with my high scoring predictions wouldn't in my wildest dreams would of seen that happening with Everton.
I actually had modest scores last week but for this week I have gone back to putting in some high scoring ones.
Arsenal 6 goals happening you watch and witness!
They want to close that 1 point margin between them and Manchester City this weekend.

Ohhh guys, what a memories, playing WE or PES, in that time FIFA was a shit played for nobody (atleast here in Argentina) no matter they have oficial names/license, we love the Londob blue, meresryde red/blue, Man blue, etc.

And how we can forgot the WE or PES team, with the fake Romaldinho (PES UNITED).

About today games, i dont like them because they lack that "funny" part, you need to play good and a lot to be good, its more "profesional", back in the day they were more "arcade" and you can play with all your friends and no matter if they dont know how to play, they learn easily, obviusly if one play all day it gonna be much better, but a guy who play ffrom time to time, can play against him. Now that its imposible, a guy who play all the day at FIFA can win 10-0 easily against one who play sporadically.

FIFA is overrated nonsense; I'd rather play PES than anything where the players run like robots. I still have a WE O9 file in my flash that I might install for some good old days nostalgia...

The old WE game back when I was a child lol. Graphic was great back when I played that but compared to any football game now, its pretty crappy so I'd love to watch some clips from youtube for some nostalgia but probably wont even want to play it again
I found the WE on my flash, it reminds me so much of Henry and Reyes's combo, the Arsenal team was a cheat code, I want to take the kids back to the good old days, but I'll have to wait until my son returns from school for the holidays.

Playing a relegation side while also ensuring that the players are not weary before the CL second leg is a huge assignment, but who knows, Everton could be able to pull it off.

Beating Brighton is a difficult task, and everyone should be concerned about a team that has already crushed them 5

Exactly this, I totally love to put some money on Everton double chance for sure against City. The fact that Everton scored 5 goals and won against Brighton was insane. I would be 100% sure that Everton would lose to City if they had only won against Brighton with 1 goal but 5 goals is a different story, they might be able to pull an upset against City

or atleast I hope so, totally love Arsenal to still have a shot on the trophy  Roll Eyes

Pep would like to finish the game in HT in order to rest his key players in the second half, so if Everton can hold them for HT draw, the pressure will be on Pep. He wouldn't want to keep Halaand and KDB for more than 60 mins, so there is a chance of Everton cooking them, but everything will depend on the HT result.

Arsenal had chances and blew them, so I don't feel pity for them; I don't mind if Man City turns the league into a farmer league as long as they keep the trophy from Manchester United, Losserpool and our noisy London neighbors .

WE was the bomb for so long, for years the superior of crappy FIFA but I noticed when I picked FIFA up on my kid's PS, that it had literally copied WE control for control. Anyway... Everton beating City to help Arsenal would be such sweetness.
I think you are asking a bit to much from Everton. The fact that they did beat Brighton 1-5 sure have add to the overall enthusiasm of such team but Manchester City is not Brighton at all

and I have seen this week Champions League game where they got and dominated the game against Real Madrid at Madrid home,I wonder how bad will they crush Real in the return leg as I don't expect a come back for Real.

Manchester City had possession, but Real Madrid made the most dangerous attacking runs. Being dominant does not win games; Real Madrid has never dominated any of their CL semi-final games, but they always know how to get the job done.

don't let us down against Leicester, secure your CL chances and push them closer to Championship

Hate to see such a faithful stalwart like Vardy take the bitter pill, actually not even sure who else is left of that title-winning team, can't think of anyone else there after Schmeichel left... but that really is the end of that era, and we have to make sure we make certain of that.

Merseyside Blue, oh crap, that got me hehe, Merseyside Red (Liverpool), London Blue (Chelsea), kids won't know, WE was a crazy game.

We have seen enough of Everton's Haram ball over the years, spending so much on players they don't need and changing managers like diapers, they were lucky enough to avoid relegation last season, they are 2 points from relegation and they have to play Man City and in form Wolves for survival, things aren't looking good for them.

@casperBGD I'm so pleased for you, and for Merseyside Blue (as Winning Eleven used to call them). Wouldn't it be so awesome for them to beat City next?

thanks man, hopefully this one will turn our hopes to avoid relegation up

will be great to see Blues up against City, and help Arsenal to get back into title fight, not sure it is possible dough, they are in best form at the moment

Hey, hey, I was the only one who got a point from Everton, even as a lover of upsets, even if I believe Everton can score 5 goals, I can't believe Brighton could concede 2, let alone 5!

What a round of games yesterday, goals everywhere Grin

Brighton team looks really tired, they weren't at their best a few games in a row now. Shame, I really wanted them to do well - they deserved it this season with some top performances. They will probably end up without Europe now.

______________

What about Liverpool, eh? Are we allowed to hope?
I don't really think it's possible, but United did open a tiny door. Let's see where it takes us.

I totally agree here, and this is the main problem with all the teams who play good football with small teams. In a long season you just cannot compete with City (supposedly also Chelsea) I mean look even at United their B team is actually full of stars like wow you can rest Maguire, Martial, Sabitzer, Sancho, Dalot, Fred!

Brighton can't rest anybody, Arsenal even the same, Newcastle too, and it shows now.

It's a great blow to lose Europe spots so close to the end.

Everton wow. Liverpool wow. Personally I prefer Liverpool than United in Champions League, simply because of the way they play.

Brighton was actually not that bad, Everton scored goal in first minute, and had three goals till half-time, with 2 shots on goal
and in second half, JP1 made some terrific saves, especially on Fergusson shot at 0:3, if that came in, it could end-up totally different in the end

but overall, all Everton shots came in, and we celebrated last night (giving back for home loss to Fulham few rounds ago, when we were better side, and they won on all shots in)

with all said, Brighton schedule is really tough, and even with 2 games more, they need to win over Villa to stay in the loop for Europe

and perfect round for Liverpool, all teams that are looking to CL spots lost this round, hopefully Liverpool will win next one against Leicester

What are you saying, man! I feel like you stole my prediction.  Grin My ticket was for Fulham and Everton to win. But I didn't do that in the pool, I stayed in my place knowing that the majority didn't score many points except for @fmbetbru who was the only one to achieve a good result for this round.

Once again, congratulations @fmbetbru on the free bet.

Wow! What were you thinking when you bet on Everton? I see that Brighton is unstable and can beat Chelsea and United, but lose to Nottingham Forest, but it was a home game for them and everyone was waiting for a convincing victory. In any case, congratulations - a very nice win.
I would like to know if anyone has bet on Everton with -1 or even -2 handicap - odds of that outcome were crazy, I think in the 20-50 range.

I don't really think it's possible, but United did open a tiny door. Let's see where it takes us.

I am heavily confident that United will not stop here as they will screw things up really in a big way in the remaining games and that is the price of Ten Haag to pay for all his arrogant statements when he started winning in the beginning of the season, yes I have still not forgotten them and he deserves to be out of the top 4 which most likely he will with the really bad consecutive performances of Manchester United.

Where does this leads us?Yes to Liverpool going into Champions League again next year as I am sure Liverpool will win all their remaining games, they are in top form,in a form that if they had this since the beginning of the season they would be fighting for the title now.

Brigton might be so tired that they were slaughtered by Everton with a score of 5-1, I was not thought of before that Brigton could experience such a defeat.

Manchaster United is indeed quite chaotic, the arrogance of the Ten Hag might affect the game of the Red Devils Squad itself, I do not think of the inconsistency of the Red Devils's performance, they can come out into the top 4 in the standings this season.
I tend to pay attention to Liverpool who began to improve and seemed to have a good history of matches in their last five matches in the English Premier League.
It is enough to have a chance for Liverpool to come out to the top 4 of the standings because the difference with Mancaster United is only one point, even Liverpool can come out to three standings if Newcastle suffered a successive defeat in his last match and Liverpool won the remaining match.

I'm sick of Southampton and Leicester City, and I want both teams to crumble.

me too, and adding Leeds to the list, so Everton stays in the league, Forest as well

it is a tough schedule for all:
Everton - City (H), Wolves (A), Bournemouth (H)
Leeds - Newcastle (H), West Ham (A), Tottenham (H)
Leicester - Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A), West Ham (H)
Nottingham - Chelsea (A), Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace A)

as it looks from schedule, we should have same point situation before last round (all loses), but football is full of surprises

I think Nottingham has the most chances of staying in the league and I am not caring much about other teams, nor I care about Nottingham but as things are I believe they will win against Chelsea as the win of Chelsea against Bournemouth more than deserved was awarded by the referee, nothing against Chelsea and I even had bet on them on that game, just things went that way.

Leicester and Leeds I think are teams that belong to the Championship more than the Premier League so yeah they should go where they belong  Grin. For Southampton though I am a bit sorry that they were the worse team of the league this season so they will be part of the Championship next season.

Brighton defeated United to move closer to a European football position, only to be thrashed by relegation threatened Everton. It has been a bizarre game week in the league

That was one hell of lucky penalty for Brighton, otherwise it would have been draw instead. Anyway the highest number of goal conceded by Brighton prior to this game was 4 goal and that was against Arsenal but this is just a no brainer to lose to Everton by 5 goals in home game also the first goal was literally scored on 1st minute

I did not expect that, Everton absolutely battered Brighton 5-1. Where has that Everton team been all season? They’re waking up at the right time to try and stay in the PL.

Southampton must win tonight against Forest, I don’t think even a draw is good enough.

Brighton defeated United to move closer to a European football position, only to be thrashed by relegation threatened Everton. It has been a bizarre game week in the league, beginning with my dear Chelsea scoring three goals in a game for the first time this year, Leicester holding five goals against Fulham and Nottingham Forest, and Everton moving out of the relegation zone in grand style.

I'm sick of Southampton and Leicester City, and I want both teams to crumble.

Liverpool's chances of finishing in the top four are looking more likely now, they only need to win their next three games and watch either Manchester United or Newcastle United drop. It will happen.
