I would be careful if I was a betting guy on Liverpool. The last time they won big they followed it with a defeat to the bottom team lol

Saw some clips but as usual hard to find full highlight clips because of IP block. Even VPN must be from England I guess!

But this is the football we miss from Liverpool, too bad they might even miss being in CL next season. Jotax2 is the best news for everyone there I guess.

That was because they were playing away and I think this time the next game they play at home and again against one of the bottom standings team.I can hardly believe that Liverpool will not be able to beat Nottingham Forest in their Saturday game, personally I think they will crush them with another tennis result as I think their attackers finally have found the perfect form and I sorta agree with you for Jota but for me personally the best is Darwin Nunez as a player.
Salah is also recovering his form and he needs to score with a penalty now after losing two in a row in order to gain again confidence and what better place than the game against Nottingham to do this.

Ahaha yes I see it now, in fact beating Leeds away was a different result than they normally have, just didn't realize until checking that they have been suffering a lot when playing away.

But still I think they have to worry, getting a good result or even a great result against a solid team can make them lazy the next game against relegation team.

And the problem now is all teams don't fear Liverpool. So again, I think stay away from betting and just enjoy watching Smiley

Nice one. If the winner is Arsenal or Southampton fan than he will have double joy 😉
Good luck to everyone. If by any chance I get it (Which is very unlikely, I think none of us was able to get it in two consecutive rounds) then I will have a games and rounds draw to gift it to someone who really likes it.

This is a really beautiful surprise for me. I was sad because of not winning the yellow cap last week. I'm more happy as I have taken the opportunity. The two teams which are sponsored by Sportsbet.io are going to have a very critical match in the Premier League this week. While Arsenal are in a challenge to become the champions Southampton are trying to stay in the league. I assume Arsenal will have a lopsided victory on Friday evening.

It's done! Officially and finally I was able to get the yellow cap (although superbru is yet to update the table). There was a time when getting exact scores were very difficult for me but from the last two rounds it seems my luck is better. Happy with the performance. Hopefully in the next few rounds I will be able to continue scoring decent.

Winning by 1 - 6 goals is huge.

I need to find my sportsbet.io account details LOL

Congratulations and I wish you to properly dispose of the free bet!
Liverpool won big and upset me a little - at one point the score was exactly what I chose 1-3, but in the end I got only one point like everyone who chose Liverpool to win.

~
My only consolation is that yesterday, closer to the game, I made the right choice:

~

Congratulations, but I must say that it was really bet wrong. It seems to me that you should choose much higher odds in order to maximize the profitability of your freebets.
By betting on a coefficient of 1.68, on average, you will win (1/1.68-0.045) * 0.68 = 0.374 mbtc
If you bet on at least 2.5 odds, then your average win will be (1/2.5 - 0.045) * 1.5 = 0.532 mbtc
The most profitable is to bet with odds in the range of 5-6 - so your average win will be in the region of 0.6 (almost twice as much as your choice gave on average).

Seems like yesterday Liverpool destroy all his cursed players, Jota scoring twice, after being cursed and not scoring for like 1 year (incredible for a forward) Nuñez scoring, Gakpo scoring, Salah being Salah, are they happy because they know Mane its gonna comeback? Or are they know if Mane comeback they have to compete against a really good one for that spot in the initial 11 ?.

^  Chelsea tho...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

What is going on up there?  The supporters are prolly making songs chanting Boehly Out at every home match. Lol.  What manager would be wanting to take the job at their current state?  I could see Lampard being given the role during the summer as they could have a hard time looking for a decent manager...  Unless they could tempt somebody like Zidane and offer him good money, which prolly they wouldn't do, and a huge transfer budget which prolly they shouldn't do.

I think staying with Lampard could be a wise choice for the sole purpose of rebuilding the squad.  They shouldn't be looking for their Pep..  They should be looking for their Arteta imho.
You know they were bad when Kepa is their best player and they conceded two goals. Brighton is good team and playing super exciting football this season but team like Chelsea shouldn't allow any opponent to have 26 goal attempts, almost like they were playing handball  Grin

@igebotz maybe time for new manager? You can't buy players outside of transfer window but you can managers. I am thinking Boehly has no idea what to do with his new toy and he is doing something just for the sake of doing.

Lots of strange results today, what is worse I predicted surprises in couple of those games but went with more safe draws instead of outright wins for underdogs.

Kepa had a season when he was pretty good tho...  The year when they won the UCL.  The sample size is small but at the time his stats were as good as the top keepers, prolly even better.  Not sure what's going on with him now as I've been following the EPL less and less.  I'd assume it was Tuchel who had done a good job making him improve.  I guess check and compare his stats on goals conceded under Tuchel and under Potter.

What the new owners should do...  Do an Abramovich and issue a blank check.  Grin

Unbelievable! Why did I make that pick???

My favourite team, Liverpool, wins by such a wide margin, and I'm getting zero points with that. C'mon, man, you should have more faith in what you are a fan of!

My only consolation is that yesterday, closer to the game, I made the right choice:

You shouldn't be Nostradamus for that, it was highly predictable

A great Liverpool performance yesterday - but it's too late to be of any real significance.
Even if we win all our games until the end of the season, it won't be enough to secure Champions League next season.

Still, we need to secure EL at least and yesterday was a step in the right direction.
It was nice to see Thiago and Diaz returning - they were our best players before injuries. Hopefully they can push us towards Europe.

For sure Arsenal would pay to take 2nd... but not in a fashion of sitting in #1 for 80% of the season and giving it up on the final lap.

Still want them to win, for sure. I also have free biweekly beers for an entire season from an Arsenal fan waiting for me...

it is a good enough reason to want them to win
with last two draws, it becomes clear that they do not have Champions mentality, but somehow I think that their luck will change on Etihad, and that they are going to win there (plan to play on that, odds will be good presumably)

all in all, relegation fight is more interesting to me, we failed against Fulham, and situation is getting really complicated, fighting Leeds as last season and Nottingham instead of Burnley

I was waiting for Liverpool to win in a comfortable way today. However this result was a surprise for even me. This season Liverpool showed a very bad performance in general. However they had very big games in some matches. I assume that nobody would believe you if you said Liverpool would defeat Manchester United by 7-0 while having the worst season of their recent years. Cheesy

When it comes to this evening I think Liverpool will win against Leeds away comfortably. (I made a 3-0 Liverpool win prediction in the pool.)
3 - 0 for Liverpool is not going to happen. Leeds just scored. And now Jota. 3 - 1. I would not mind if the score stay there. A solid 3 points for me keeps me at the top of the round 😉

But it still 35+ minutes to go. May be a 1.5 points will do the good.

Things have changed, Salah scored his second goal in this match, so you're good because most of the participants will only get a close result, including me. Maybe this will make me lose my position in the ranking!!!Wow, Jota managed to add the fifth goal.😁😁😁

I was expecting a Liverpool scoring a lot of goals but I was in doubt for the win because of their bad away record yet they crushed Leeds completely and most likely Leeds now will be in a fight for relegation zone despite their recently I would say good results overall.I am happy for Liverpool as since last week when they played against Arsenal they showed a super awesome football in the second half of that game and the real result should have been 4-2 for Liverpool and not just a draw.I think that 99% of the participants will get a point as I don't see people predicting a Liverpool misfortune in this game.

Unfortunately, if they don't win, they will feel so unmotivated that Arteta's biggest challenge is to keep them refreshed and excited next season. I think this is the hardest part to do. Come second and try again.
I think the opposite will happen. They have nothing to lose now. The achievements so far is great, they have chance to win the title too. Title win or not, the performance will motivate the entire management and they will not hesitate to invest more for the team. As a result the entire team will be hungrier to do better in the next season.

Even though Arsenal have the chance to win the Premier League title this season, they have opponents who are tough enough to win, namely Man City who have played quite well this season and Arsenal must be careful with Man City.
What's more, in the last 2 matches Arsenal played quite badly where they couldn't end the match with a win but only drew a score, even though the 2 teams in Arsenal's last match were teams that weren't too strong even in a standings position far below Arsenal.
I don't believe Arsenal can win the title if Man City keeps getting better and better like they are now.
They have 7 match to play and City have 8. I don't expect them to win against City but if they can continue winning the rest of the match and by an accident if City lose one of their match only than Arsenal has a clear chance. But it's premier league and I am sure we will have drama until the last match is played in the league.

4 - 1 for Liverpool. Salah with his 2nd. But I just looked at the superbru round points. I think the Yellow Cap is waiting for me 😉
What do I get if I win the round?

If you offered any Arsenal supporter at the beginning of the season to finish the league at the 2nd position they would have accepted it without thinking absolutely. However Arsenal supporters would be very disappointed if their team finish the league at the 2nd position at the end of the season.Even though there are many names who have had championships in the team before, it has been a little surprising for me that they can't handle the pressure.

When it comes to this evening I think Liverpool will win against Leeds away comfortably. (I made a 3-0 Liverpool win prediction in the pool.)

Salah makes it two! Hard to truly enjoy this game with our dire situation in the league table, but a win is a win and I need this 3-0 like you also predicted Wink

I think there's a lot to be said about finishing a gruelling season second, and maintain enough energy and motivation to go at it again another season. Liverpool did really well in early Klopp era to do just that. Failing at the final hurdle or on final day (either in the league to City, Real Madrid in Champions League, even Sevilla in Europa right at the beginning)... I was worried each time, but we found it in our tanks each time.

And then last season... literally losing it on final day and final match of season. I can't imagine that kind of disappointment, especially when most of the older players squeezing every bit of energy to do one final push, and fail.

For sure Arsenal would pay to take 2nd... but not in a fashion of sitting in #1 for 80% of the season and giving it up on the final lap.

Still want them to win, for sure. I also have free biweekly beers for an entire season from an Arsenal fan waiting for me...
