It was a really great game for the neutrals - and it perfectly shows 2 things as well. Liverpool is so erratic in their performances and Arsenal is simply not on a high enough level just yet.

I was disappointed to see that they gave all possession to Liverpool so easily. It basically saved us a point so thanks Arsenal - but that's not how a champion team behaves.
I felt it throughout the league and I felt it yesterday again - they are simply not ready for the title. They can still claim it of course - but I do feel it's going to City.

Liverpool on the other hand - why do we need to fuck everything up in a short period of time? We were horrible in the first half of the game and had to really grind to get something out of the game.
We played really well throughout the majority of the 90 minutes - but what good does it give you when you shoot yourself in both legs early on?

Such a frustrating season, can't wait for it to end.

We need 2-3 aggressive, athletic midfielders in the summer transfer window and I think we’ll be fine then, the owners need to give Klopp the money needed to fund that. We were better than Arsenal for an hour yesterday, should have won if we are being honest. I will join you in being happy when this season is finally over.

If we think about the money Manchester United spent for the transfer of Casemiro and Chelsea's for Enzo Fernandez, Liverpool will really need to spend a lot of money to bring an elite player. It is very difficult to reach an agreement with Dortmund for Bellingham. However Bellingham can increase Liverpool's level by 2.

We also need to sort out our attack. We have 2 expensive forwards whose technique often looks like they haven't played football before and it is costing us points on a regular basis.

Once we lose Firmino, we'll be left only with physical forwards - and that isn't the way a dominant team should be set up.
I do hope Gakpo can be the player we need him to be - I really like what I've seen from him. Jota will help in that regard a bit as well, but he probably won't be a starter next season.

When I think of an attack with Diaz, Nunez and Salah, it gives me the shivers. And not the good kind.

Then again, we need to sort out our defence as well. Fuck me, so much work to do..
Anyway - I do think it's not all doom and gloom. A lot of these issues is simply physical - which we'll hopefully sort out before the next season starts.

I agree with you about Arsenal's potential this season. They are showing good performances, but if they continue to lose points, it will open the way for City. We may witness an unexpected scenario where the current leader is overturned.

Tomorrow we have an important match for the quarter-finals of the Champions League for City against Bayern. I think it's worth betting on. I'll go with both teams to score!!!
Arsenal's next matches are against West Ham, Southampton, City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, and Wolves. They may have hard time against City and probably against Newcastle but other teams are not in good shape to challenge them. It's same for City in their next matches. Arsenal just need to ensure that they do not lose unnecessary points against easy opponents.

I am ready for tomorrow. Double checked my picks. City vs Bayern is the match I am going to watch.

Arsenal seems like they are having the famous "luck of champion" , in the last games winning in extra time and like today no losing important matches.
I did not watch the match. In fact, I am not watching many PL matches this season. When your team is not performing, your interest starts to lose and that is what happening with me. I think when are team is brave, in a good shape / form then the "Luck of Champion" always favours them. Liverpool used to get it all the time in the last few seasons.

We have the Man city is very close to the top of the league, Arsenal, with a difference of 6 points. Currently, the city has the opportunity to reduce it to just 3 points. Therefore, the match between the city and Arsenal will be decisive, like a final match to win the title.
It might be. Each team have only 8 matches left to play. Every point is important to close the gap for City. But Arsenal is having a great run in the season .

Yes i agree with you, and for that its another phrase " you need to help the luck" and its 1000% true. You need to push you need to claim that luck, and take every opportunity that luck give to you.

The relegation fight keeps heating up, i was shocked by the 5-1 of Crystal Palace against Leeds, i hate CP i never know what they are gonna do.

F*ck man, i went for surprises this round, and they were really nearby.

I put Liverpool to win, and Liverpool deserve the win, Ramsdale was spectacular and Mo Salah missing a penalty. Brentford was close to a draw against Newcastle. But well this its football and this happen, its not about deserve, the reality its only one.

The fight its really tight, im really surprised how fortebet its having so good results with so short results, he put mayority of 1-0, and its strange in this league with a ton of goals to have that good results.

Last night, I checked the pool leaderboard and found that @Hhampuz was in the lead with 16 points. However, the situation has changed today as I found three yellow caps and Hhampuz was not among them. Therefore, I don't think he was lucky enough. I feel like the pool will be competitive in its final rounds, with fluctuations in positions, and I don't know if i capable of rising to the top and winning some cake. Grin

Arsenal lost 2 important points in the championship race by losing points in a match they got 2-0 ahead. It was the most enjoyable football match I have watched in the recent times. Salah was able to score only 1 goal because of his clumsiness and unluckiness in a match that he could have made a hat-trick comfortably. Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale was very good in the last moments of the match.

Liverpool have absolutely become the team to have changed the course of the championship race after the matches they played against Manchester City first and Arsenal later on.

Those are really important points to lose, and given how tough some of the remaining fixtures are Arsenal, they are still likely to drop a couple of points imo, but then Man City could also slip too, but the race is now more open than ever, and they'll need Man City to also drop some points if they are to emerge victorious with the league title.

There are just 8 games remaining and some of them Arsenal will play in their home which most likely will win these games, the difficult encounters are only against City and Newcastle so if Arsenal manages to beat either of these teams, just one of them, most likely Newcastle they are still strongly favored to win the league title. It is true that they have really screwed up in tonight game against Liverpool as in the second half they were almost nonexistent in the field and they were just defending and waiting for the game to finish, they are lucky to come out with 1 point from this game as if Liverpool had been a bit more pragmatic in front of the goal they would have won the game.

And there is game against Chelsea on the horizon too, and that sure can be overlooked, Chelsea thus look like bull crap, but so does Liverpool who cost them 2 points today.

I still wish Arsenal break the jinxed and winning the league, but to do that now, there is still more than just an easy task ahead of them, so they need to be more composed and clinical in their opponent's final third.

A really strange game this one,Arsenal completely dominated the first half and in the second half they were scared to death and they barely managed to pass their own field, this is not a team that is to win any title and I wonder how such team have come so far with these results, they were just under pressure and could not do anything, teams that fight for the title always find the power to fight back.

Liverpool did a super game in the second half and the result should have been 4-2 for them if Nunez and Salah had not lose those gold chances to score but that is football. Now Arsenal has 6 points advantage but has to visit City and Newcastle during these last 8 games and it won't be that easy for them.

But I think now in Chelsea everyone is praying for this to happen - because it will save not only this season but also the next (the winner of the Champions League gets a ticket to the next one even if it could not qualify there through the national championship).
But this season is completely a circus and no matter how Chelsea plays further, nothing can be fixed here.
Chelsea at the moment are playing like a team that is about to be relegated and whatever they do they know their fate , if only the league had voluntary relegation I think Chelsea would be the first to take it.. so that they steam off & find the root cause of their problems this season... I wonder how it feels like to be a Chelsea fan right about now Roll Eyes

Arsenal lead 2-1 after the first half and Liverpool have been consistently failing in the second half lately. I wonder if the pattern repeats again.
If there is a match I know that Liverpool could not lose it has to be this one..

has anybody looked at their head to head with Arsenal... The Reds are untouchable in their record when it comes to this fixture and I think the Gunners got lucky by scoring first otherwise points have been shared today.

Final score: Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal

Chelsea are just clowns. But as a Real Madrid fan, I fear that the biggest joke from Chelsea this season is that they will knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League (I would really hate that). Maybe I'm just making it up, but if Chelsea are ingloriously knocked out of the Champions League, what kind of season will it be for them? Can it really be that bad  Grin
Even if the champions league is the biggest and most difficult title to win, if we were to somehow defeat Real Madrid and go on to win it, it wouldn't be considered a successful season in my eyes. Winning through skill and teamwork is different from winning through luck.

But I think now in Chelsea everyone is praying for this to happen - because it will save not only this season but also the next (the winner of the Champions League gets a ticket to the next one even if it could not qualify there through the national championship).

When we look at Chelsea's 6-match fixture ahead we can understand that Lampard has a quite difficult job to do. By the way, is it true that Chelsea reached an agreement with Luis Enrique and gave up on that later before Lampard's arrival? I see many Chelsea fans tweeting angrily by tagging Todd Boehly.
First welcome match for Lampard is a defeat and this sends a psychological defeat to these guys and this shows the problem isnt really the manager but something among the players...At this point any player showing signs of being bigger than the club should go, something we saw with Cr7 the ex United player.
And looking at the upcoming fixtures i fear not less than 3 defeats will be registered here.
