What do you guys think of Arsenal to win and BTTS combo at 2.85?  I think that's pretty good odds if we play with the numbers the books are giving us.  Leeds over .5 goals is around 1.50 or close to it, Arsenal to win is at 1.55 but Arsenal and BTTS is at 2.85?  I think that's pretty good number imho.

Another line I like is Man City straight up at 1.89 for obvious reasons.  Not sure why it's decently high with how good they're running.

Feels like a trap, this has 2-0 arsenal written all over it. What are the odds on Arsenal to win and BTTS "No"?

Lol.  I love a good smart ass reply to a rhetorical question.  Cheesy

I don't know, but I think tokeweed might be on to something.  I like Leeds for a goal most of the time, but funny thing is my prediction in the pool is exactly what Hhampuz suggested.  I'm actually torn between that prediction or 1-3 Arsenal.  I've been predicting 3 goals for the Gunners the last two weeks, and they've rewarded me with exact predictions both times.  Should I break the pattern?

SB has City money line at 1.87 at the moment, but man that's a tough one.  You really wanna bet against LFC at home with their backs against the wall?  I haven't locked in my prediction on the pool, but currently I've got that match as a tie.  I want to see the lineups before I change my mind.

Didn't watch so can't explain another Leicester City scoreless outing. Precious point or opportunity missed? First item of news I read was fans calling for Brendan to go and I can't see a way out for him now even if they win next game as they would likely still be bottom then.

Did not see Bournemouth scoring 2 either. Need to stop putting money down on these games!

Guys don't forget that we start this week early with a Brentford vs Brighton game tonight.I think in this game it is only natural to back Brighton which has only lost two games against strong teams while Brentford has suffered really big by winning only 1 of 7 last games that they played. The odds of the game suggest for a draw but I think backing a Brighton win tonight should be generally a good idea or to be sure why not go for that golden bet in Premier League that happens at least 90% of the time which is both teams to score yes.

Whew, thanks for reminding us.  I was feeling lazy and was planning on making my predictions tomorrow morning.

Brighton could win but I wouldn't underestimate Brentford at home.  They've had just one loss at home so far and it was vs Arsenal which I think we could give Brentford a pass for it.  Most notable win at home is vs Man United, 4 - 0.  They also won vs Leeds 5 - 2.  They're losses away are vs Newcastle, ok sure and vs Fullham which should be kinda sketchy but it was an away game.

It looks like you are right,Brentford is winning at home in the first half and judging by the way that both teams are playing I think I have lost my prediction and most probably Brighton cannot turn things around but I am pretty confident that they will at least score one goal to make that golden bet in the Premier League happen at both teams to score yes.

I was deceived by the fact that Brentford had only won 1 of their last 7 games and that is why I chose a Brighton win because normally my gut feeling was 1-1 as a prediction for this game.

Yeah except that I gave Brighton too much credit in this spot.  Had it at 2 - 2 in the pool.

Got the result, but really needed Brighton to score to get 3 points, always feels "hollow" when getting a mild upset right but not reaping the full rewards from it. Welbeck had a few good sniffs but Brighton seemed to want to keep playing neat tricky football when they should have been far more direct with Brentford. Raya put out quite a show though...

I can see us benefiting Trent with his current form, and the team form. Like I said before, having Trent push up as much as he does, requires the rest of our defense to be in good form, which they aren't. Therefore, Trent's positioning is highlighted even more. I do think he needs to start running back, and showing a little more urgency though.

I think Diaz is the greatest loss. 6-8 weeks I think I remember reading. That's not awful, but not ideal. Matip is a big loss, but Konate has just come back, and apart from a few games I've found him pretty decent. Quite excited for his future considering his age.

Trent and Salah do need some serious rest I think (well, almost everyone on the team does but they especially, for form and sharpness. The pre-season we did was a backbreaker I think Klopp realised that too, let's hope we really find a way to get this team the rest they need.

But yes I'm a TAA defender but agree he does need to remind himself and Southgate he hasn't forgotten he's a defender. More running back, and less lackadaisical attitudes.

Read the pre-matches from Klopp and Pep and as usual, both so eager to praise the other teams while insisting they've not got a chance tomorrow haha.

I also had a 1-1 draw, and I can't say I wasn't surprised by the result because I didn't expected Brentford to win, not even as flawlessly as they did, and given their recent form of concede the least I expected is a goal or two from Brighton, however Raya literally saved the day with tons of magical saves, he was just impenetrable, the Brighton deserved was at least a goal, Raya was equal to every of their 21 attempts and 7 that were on targets, insane performance! Player of the match imo!

This shows to us unfortunately that even betting on sport relies not always but sometimes completely on luck like yesterday as I would call a lucky day for Raya with his awesome performance that made most of the pool participants get their prediction wrong.

This game gives Brentford the much lost confidence in their recent lost games and winning at home with such no flaws makes them feel really great and are ready for the next game which will not be that far away but in the middle of next week.

And agree on Gomez, he's always been good for me, I feel like we'll miss Matip more than Diaz/Trent, but if it's Konate|VVD and then Gomez and Robbo, I'm very happy.

I'm sticking with Klopp too. Results aside, we're the team I always imagine us to be.

Don't care. Putting whatever money left I can spare on Liverpool v City. 4/1. This was better odds than Community Shield.
Spoken like a true red. I'll never bet against Liverpool that's for sure. I did predict a draw the other day with the Arsenal game, that nearly came in. I'll be betting on a win for Liverpool, and nothing less on the weekend. My predictions themselves in the pool might be a little different. However, since I'm sliding down the leaderboard every week, I might as well chance it since most in the pool will be predicting a high scoring win for City.

At the end of the day, I love Klopp, and even if we had three seasons of this I wouldn't want him to leave. He did the impossible, and turned that side into a winning team. Alison scored a bloody header for Christ sake. So, I won't stop supporting the boys, Diaz is a massive loss, but I think the Trent injury might benefit us in the short term. Obviously, Trent is world class, but at the moment he's having a rough time. Gomez could potentially build some confidence in that position, and steady our defense a little.

Suffer us hopeless supporters, yeah? I've backed a Liverpool win betting, in pool, and in the 4-3-free Sportsbet freebet promo. What I have done different this time around is predict 2 goals for City, I usually pop in a clean sheet or single concession at worst. The pragmatist in me is awake...

The big game to watch this weekend is obviously Liverpool V City, but is anyone backing an upset in the Man U v Newcastle game? Newcastle bagged 4 and 5 goals in the last two games and maybe Manchester will underestimate them. I'll wait for the line-ups before I lock my picks in but there could be a lot of goals in both these games.

Yes, would even put money on it but 35/10 doesn't do the risk justice, at Old Trafford and on a United side who's just pulled through Europa. I really ought to put a fiver on both Manchesters losing though...

From a Liverpool fan, it's hard not to get excited for us showing a glimpse of brilliance in the midweek, but ultimately I believe we'll get beat. City have been brilliant, while we've been at our absolutely worst under Klopp. We're missing a few key players, and it remains to be seen whether we'll actually benefit from Trent having to sit out a few weeks.

City likely beat us. I just hope it isn't by a landslide. Who knows though, Salah got on the score sheet in exciting fashion in midweek, and he could be finding his feet. We also looked as a team in very good shape in the second half against Rangers. Some could say that's because it's only Rangers, but the shape, passes, and fluidity was there despite who we may have been playing.

I'm slightly optimistic to get a result, but I'm not overly confident if that makes any sense. As for the United game, I'm fancying Newcastle. I think United haven't fixed their problems, but merely glossed over them for the time being. Newcastle have that tenaciously that United have lacked the last few years. Although, without trying to sit on the fence too much, could very well see United blow past them if they're in top form.

I'd say with a realistic logical mind frame based on recent form: City win, United draw.

Got my selections added already,i picked for today Brighton they lost couple of points in last few rounds and i think its finally time for them to win again. Last week was terrible for me so hopefully Brighton pulls a win tonight and gives me the boost. Both teams to score is a must today i think, both teams will attack and try and get all 3 points so probobly we will see lots of goals today between these two teams.

I can't pick the winner here so went for the draw. If it was the other way around I would have backed Brighton but I think they'll cancel each other out ultimately.

I've picked the next few weeks in advance, some that were picked before the season began. I didn't change them since I've been awful this season anyhow, and honestly I really haven't picked up on the forms of teams yet. It just seems like a very mixed season, unless I'm just getting that impression because of Liverpool struggling, I don't know.

I can't remember what I picked for the Brighton game, but I'd fancy a draw there. I feel like Brighton could dominate the game, but they struggle to score at times. Whereas Brentford are usually pretty decent at counter attacking sides that have a large amount of the ball. Could be an exciting game, and it could mean both teams end up cancelling each other out.

If I were to slightly lean towards one team over the other it would probably be Brighton.

Events in the Premier League are developing so excitingly that even being distracted by the UCL, I can't stop thinking about the next round.
From the point of view of the current state of affairs, the defeat of Liverpool looks like an obvious option, but on the other hand, City have not lost 13 games in a row. Every series has an end. City's last defeat was against Liverpool. Maybe it's time for events to "return to the starting point"? I find it hard to believe that Liverpool after 9 games will only have 2 wins.
I don’t know what prediction I will make in the pool, but I see that from the point of view of betting, the odds of Liverpool to win look very profitable.

I honestly dont see myself betting any bets on Liverpool against City,Liverpool took so many points from me this season that im just mad,i will probobly go with City in this match because they cannot be stopped as far as i see. I barely survived the last round from getting the spoon so now i must be in top 3 in the next round.

After the Rangers scored first, I also began to doubt my reasoning  Cheesy But already 1-1, it gives hope.

I think yesterday night game of City against Copenhagen despite playing in 10 men for most of the time, losing a penalty and a goal not given by VAR still shows that they are not that great of a team that we all think they are.If they were they would have won comfortably and would have scored without problems in Copenhagen which is a much lower quality team.

This makes me rethink that it won't be so easy to win against Liverpool despite that Liverpool is not in the perfect condition as of yet.

Quite right. People tend to overestimate favorites and expect them to win every game, but that doesn't happen. There are failures and unexpected points loss for any team, given the status of Liverpool (whatever state it is in) the loss of points in this game for City will not be something never seen before.

By the way, does anyone have any ideas about the Liverpool vs City game on Sunday? I don’t want to bet on City because it will be a complete disaster for Liverpool, but I don’t really believe in a positive outcome either.

Sunday is far away, today is Monday and we have the last game of the actual round tonight.I would not worry much for Sunday games from now but since you are asking if you saw Liverpool in yesterday game you probably should not have difficulties to guess that in 99.99% of the cases Liverpool is going to lose that game and only a miracle can make them draw because I don't believe in a miracle of winning so far.Liverpool is completely out of the title fight and the maximum they can do is to limit the damage by winning with small teams and try to get a place in the Champions League for next year and I am saying this in all honesty as a Liverpool fan.

Events in the Premier League are developing so excitingly that even being distracted by the UCL, I can't stop thinking about the next round.

All I'll say is.. Keeping henderson on and taking Salah out in the game against Arsenal really shows where liverpool is at right now. What a horrible decision to make in such a match, IMO.

We lack legs in midfield since the start of the season. We are used to having 3 players there and we're really struggling when we try to play with 2 - which we often do when we need to accommodate Nunez into the team.

I warned everyone about Salah - he was great for us when he was our focal point. Having him as a ball carrier/creator is not how you get the best out of him, and in such formations/roles, he's just a good player, not great and not a game changer.

Taking him off might have been a bad choice - but even if he stayed on the pitch I feel it would not have made a difference.
