A typical Leeds against the bigs game, and this its:

- Being a shit in defence
- Some good goalkeeper saves
- Rain of goals
- Multiple attacks for each side
- Missing some goals
- Lose

From their comeback to Premier until now this its the regular basis of Leeds. Anyways i like to watch that kind of games.
and every time they play against same or lower level teams, they disappointing us. They don't change a lot after Bielsa's departure tbh.

They were my favorite but until now in their 3rd season in PL, the only memorable match I can remember on Leeds is just when they was able to get draw result 1-1 against City in their first season Undecided

I predicted a 0-3 win for City based on Leeds not so good form during this season but I must say that I enjoyed the game yesterday night.I thought that City would be playing very well in order to show to other teams that they are still running for the title and would not concede but they did.

Yeah but City's goals made makes up for the total goal difference to matter against Arsenal.  And for City to remain in the running, they shouldn't lose one single match from here on out...  Which I think is pretty much doable for Guradiola and his boys.

City would make a good parlay piece every match day to the end of the season if the books weren't so stingy about the odds.  Cheesy  Using City at just 1.11 in a parlay has become more of a risk.  And I don't feel safe with the -2 at 1.52 either.  Lol.

What do you guys think of City to win both halves at 1.87?

I've got 3-0 as well and can easily see more. Could be a bloodbath depending on which Leeds team turn up and given that Newcastle have been stuffing teams by 3 or 4 goals.

Well, as per usual I forgot. I'm away, so that's my excuse. I'm not sure if I put in the predictions in advance, probably not. I'm away from the superbru app at the moment so I've either already put the predictions in or I've picked up a few wooden spoons Tongue. I don't think I had any chance of competing for this competition this year anyhow. It's been a rather difficult season to predict, and I haven't watched nearly as much football as I usually do this year.

You don't need the app; they have a browser site as well. Just put them in well in advance or just get in a routine of doing them every Monday or Friday or whatever day your prefer. It seems a lot of people have been forgetting with the World Cup and probably busy with the holidays. I almost forgot to do mine last round and this one. Just done them now.

Yes sir, that's me 😉
I thought it was between you, me and Aviruns but someone else found himself in between us after the final match LOL.

In the City match that last goal from Leeds took away my 3 points. I was expecting another goal in the match after already having the 3rd goal in the 64th minutes but did not expect it from Leeds though. But anyway, 1.5 points and with 3 exact score, the round was very good for me.

Two matchs tomorrow including Liverpool meeting Leicester in Anfield. Don't miss it.
Ikr, but at least Avirunes won it lol. He really deserved it with his almost-perfect picks. Good luck for the upcoming round!

Yes its surprising they still playing the same way, but its one of the best to see for neutral people,
Yeah agree on that though, because they rarely play defensively or park the bus, no matter how strong their opponents. As a result, they able to score 29 goals but in the other hand, they conceded 29 goals. They really need a good defensive midfielder badly after Kalvin Phillips left.

i live not so far from Bielsa i have to go and hit his doorbell and talk with him.
For real? I'm wondering how long he can hold a squat Wink Joking aside, he is one of the best argentinian coaches ever!

We all agree that Everton will park the bus, isn't it better to take the bet where you are not dependent on first half result for win? I mean I watched City against Leeds and after 2 initial chances they did nothing whole first half. It was shear luck they scored in the last minutes of first half. I think we can all agree the game is over when City scores first goal so I would be happier taking -1.5 handicap on City than your proposed bets.

My tip for today is Liverpool both to score. After watching them against Villa I am almost certain this should pass. If Maddison is available I would play it for very high stake and if he isn't than just for medium stake.

agree on Everton, we will park the bus and with good keeper, as ours, it could last for some time, first half and longer for example (would be great to make them nervous in process, and use that, but I am hopeless on that)

regarding Liverpool, not sure, Leicester had good strike being clean sheet, and blanked in first match, but I do not see this one as high scoring match (could be changed on fast goal, but before the match, I would go with under2.5, and draw does not seem realistic (for BTTS to pass))
I am basing my prediction on Liverpool, they created a lot of chances against Villa. Just Nunez had 4 big chances and scored none. At the same time Villa also created several excellent chances against them and missed all in first half. Their first half should have ended with result like 3:3.

Liverpool is a team not capable to defend but more than capable of outscoring most oponnents. I am expecting at least 4 goals tonight. We shall see soon who was right  Grin

What do you guys think of City to win both halves at 1.87?

City should win easily against Everton but we should expect that Everton parks the bus against Man City. They need to play really good defence if they want something. Both halves to win is a good bet but for me a better bet would be HT/FT on Man City but the odd is lower,or over 1.5 goals in the first half.

I started the 17th round disastrously and dropped down to the 9th position from the 6th. Thankfully I was able to predict the score of the matches of Manchester clubs. This helped me go up to the 6th position again.I was indecisive between 3-1 and 3-0 for the Leeds match. I decided upon 3-1 at the end. I usually choose the wrong one but this time it was correct.

Man, all we are in the same boat, one bad round and you go down a lot, and one good round and you go up easily ten positions. Its really hard to make a gap between us.

I have a lot of work to do to get anywhere near top 10. I’ve submitted my predictions for the next 2 rounds. Fingers crossed my predictions are better but I’m not expecting them to be Grin

I had a horrible start to the season, there was one week when I was in second to last place IIRC.  I've had some decent luck in the most recent few rounds, and I've been slowly climbing the table.  I would be happy to get into the top 20, let alone the top 10 when it's all done.  Not holding my breath, though as it seems like it would take a miracle at this point.

It could have turned out worse, but It didn't so I'm glad to have gotten maximum point from my prediction, but the only trigger was the heavy and perhaps unnecessary rotation from Guardiola, I really don't know why he to keep those players on the bench, and I don't want presume it's already because of a very hectic January schedule for the team, isn't taking a considerable lead and resting your best players early suppose to be the normal routine, but it often gets completely otherwise with Guardiola in-charge.

At least he started Grealish against Leeds, lol.  I still find it odd that City would keep him with his lack of productivity.  I don't remember if it was against Iran or Senegal, but he came in as a sub and proceeded to take 5 or 6 shots at goal, but launched every one over the crossbar.  The worst was the look of astonishment on his face every time he did it, but he did it every time.  He did the same thing at least once during the Leeds match.  According to Wikipedia he had 11 appearances during the World Cup, but only scored one goal.  All while wearing the number 7.  Roll Eyes

Haha!  How about them apples?

I love last minute changes that turn into 3 points!  Of course I cost myself a point yesterday when I decided to give Nottingham the benefit of the doubt and risk predicting a tie.  Originally I had ManU 1-0, and should have stuck with that.

That's the beauty of Boxing Day, isn't it? Wink This is could be a friendly reminder too to not miss any single match during Boxing Day with one day only for rest between gameweek 18th, 19th and 20th. Good luck guys!

we should be resting, and FPL and EPL requires hard work during holidays to keep up with all that is happening

nevertheless, around New Year almost all matches between favorites and lower level teams, probably most interesting between Brighton and Arsenal, that could send Arsenal fate in NY into good direction with another win, ahead of Newcastle, Spurs and City matches

Sigh same problem different team different day Smiley I predicted 3-0 in an exact score bet. And then somehow Leeds made me lose that one. I changed from 3-0 to 2-1 thinking maybe a fully rested Leeds can at least make it super hard for City but they only lasted 45 minutes!!

Tomorrow should be highly interesting with West Ham and Brentford... 1 team beaten by Arsenal after leading, and 1 team drawing to Spurs after leading 2-0.

I did enjoy the game too, but not that much especially when Grealish wasted so many chances in the first half and so did Leeds as well in the second one.

Luckily there will be a ton of games from tomorrow to at least 4-5 January so it is this very time in which people can make a difference in the pool, you that are on top can make a "departure" to further deepening your advantage.

I guess I put too much stock in what Tim Howard said (on the pre-match show this side of the pond) about starting De Gea since he hadn't played since November.  He seemed surprised that Ten Hag wasn't starting Heaton due to having played so well for England.  So much for listening to Tim Howard.

I can't believe I didn't know you were from the other side of the pond.

Yep, that's why you'll frequently find me writing stupid shit like "that was a great match this morning," lol.

Leeds has been my go-to club when I feel like taking a risk on an underdog, but yeah, they've let me down a few time this season.
