I screw up big time so far with only 1 points so far which looks to be the worst week so far for me.A lot of unexpected results so far and I made an error of predicting five draws but none of which has come true so far at least in the games of today.I hope to forget as soon as possible this week and we have two week vacation because of national teams which we can use to reflect and not rush to put 5 draws in 10 games.

Oh man what a tricky day in EPL as making bets today is really a pain in the chin. I do think we might have a lot of draws in the games that are now in the play as Leeds really looks tired once again and Wolves with Newcastle doesn't look like any of these teams could score again.

I'm going to be just flooding myself with footie today, and I've got money on the very first game for the Blues to get the better of Ronaldo and co, but I'll also take Trofo's advice and go against Chelsea today -- but I'm keeping my predictions as is for now.

I'd go Brighton against the Gunners too but can you believe the odds are actually with the home team? This makes sense to bet on Arsenal actually.

Ronaldo is sitting on the bench for the moment, is it just weather that do not suit him, or there is something else, it is to be seen
nevertheless, good for my boys, it will be easier to get something other than zero points today, although there is a bunch of forwards injured and not playing for Everton

not so sure about Chelsea going down today, I think that it would be an routine win 2:0 or 3:0, two loses in a row is enough to bring them back to reality
A draw that United should be happy with after Yari Mina's shot and the canceled goal.
Manchester lost 5 points against Old Trafford in one week and the bleeding series continues and question marks over the performance and choices are increasing week after week.
They had a great first half but second half was not up to standards, Fred should not be starting another match for United as he is clear the weakest link in Manchester United team and he had been there for a while.

As for Chelsea they are currently winning 1-0 and it's almost half time for them they just had a goal for Werner disallowed by VAR so we could see more goals come in the 2nd as they are still hungry for goals.

Hey Ole drops points, but really, Mina made me jump, damn you VAR (right call of course). Worse, I lost Everton bet AND United 2-1 prediction. Draws kill me and my hedge.

I would agree with on Chelsea, I really don't see them losing today and it's likely going to be a relatively easy win, Tuchel would have analysed their last games which was epic fail as the team barely made any threat over the two matches and Southampton for one have also been playing nothing but awfully so far.

They're ahead and already but still hope you're wrong, but the return to mean always rears its head, for sure, so yeah, Chelsea win is the most likely outcome. 15 minutes and already looking good.

What's worrying for their boss now is that their most talented strikers seem to be getting last season's disease (few chances converted, and unable to get themselves in scoring positions). Scary though, Mount, Havertz, Ziyech still on the bench! Lukaku was their solution but he's going to get figured out by mid-season I think.

As long as it hits me Soccer Blackjack, I'm good. How many of you from this pool bet on that faithfully?

Everton almost took the lead against Man Utd with about 5 minutes left of play, but VAR to Man Utd's rescue, they is probably just going to end as a 1-1 draw. Starting the game round with another wrong pick towards the pool 😞

I hope you don't make it that way and the rest of us should have a chance.  Cheesy
if I remember correctly, in previous seasons the winner had over 400pts, there is still a lot to do here. In the previous round for only one point to win the yellow cap, now I take just 2.5 pts. it is very easy to lose points.

I don't think I will make it that way as the Premier League one of its distinction it has,it is that is totally impossible to predict and 9 out of 10 weeks a lot of surprise results happen.I want that yellow cap at least once this season as in the last one I won it together with someone else and I didn't receive the 50 dollars free bet so I want to win at least a yellow cap this year.

By the way do not forget to put your predictions in as tomorrow is another week of action in the Premier League.

Actually, I did so badly. I ended round with these 1.5 points. Now I can't for next round to get rid off wooden spoon.
Seems that in next round most games looks more predictable on paper. And cherry on top will be clash between City and Liverpool on Sunday.

Oh sorry for that but yes I saw it now, but as I said, this is the low scoring week for most people so it wasn't SO bad. I know it means so much less when you have the wooden spoon but I think everybody almost has had it once or twice, if not many times.

is this also just for us from "Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool"?

I have done 71.5 points in six rounds with an average of 11.9 points per week,if I keep this average until the end of the tournament pretty sure I will end up first. The problem is that it is quite impossible to keep this average during the whole tournament,I aim to get 8-10 points every week and this will keep me in the prize table positions, this is my main objective right now and I don't think about winning the tournament at the moment because it is way to early.

You didn't do so badly in the end actually, since most of us in the middle got 3 points to 6 points and only a handful of users got more than 10 points. A round full of draws which I guess makes it tough for people going for favorites. I feel like I did worse slipping down to 9th position and still one more game to play, while the lead at the top look like it finally broke free.

Wow,great equalizer by Brighton which gave me an exact score for today after failing miserably yesterday by getting 0 points in the two games that were played.I thought that Crystal Palace should have won this as they were playing well, and mostly their goalkeeper had a wonderful night tonight by making a few sensational saves otherwise Brighton would have won the game.Happy to be still first in the standings after 6 rounds now.

Wow! You're increasing the pace than Tomahawk did last season, at least it took him a few weeks before topping the leaderboard and the rest history after that, as he never looked back, it's was a great feat and it's rather way too early to say you'll be able to keep the season trend, but it's a job well done so far..

I had Brighton to the game win 2 - 1, but Palace were the better team in the opening half, while it was Brighton after the break.

Nice average you've got there, really.. And since there 38 weeks if you can get an average 10 points per week, that's 380 points in total, you'll pretty much end up as the winner...

However,  I'm very certain that there will be weeks that 10 point would be practically impossible except you'll be backing multiple upset.

It was tge worst weekend ever for me failed to predict the match outcome for the 8/10 of the games.
The only good thing about it is I got the right games with correct score making me 6points from this round.
Surprisingly I didn't drop in the standings in the pool as I stayed in 8th place.
But the top is 20 points further then me.
In the next gameweek we have a clear of games that are going to be tough to predict Liverpool and Man City,
Brighton vs Arsenal, Leeds vs Watford.
I think in these games where we are going to see people make predictions left and right.

I will give you a hint about Brighton vs Arsenal game,in the last couple of years we have seen mostly surprisingly Brighton wins which were 2-1 so this is the result I am going to post in that game if I don't change my mind until Saturday. For Liverpool and Leeds I think they should win their games,of course Liverpool has a tough one but I think they will win and keep the lead they are in.

Yeah nice job man. I thought for sure I would get a good 1.5 points (I predicted Palace 2-1) but in the end Maupay's fine scoring form continues and I got a nice fat egg from that.

5 points lead is a really big gap, and 10 away from me as I slipped down to 11th place like Spurs (lol).

Special credit to Big G for making the week's biggest progress!

Leeds is giving me hard times, they are real bad at the moment, hopefully they will improve
on the other side, Everton is having another good start, which is great Smiley

Leeds are actually playing like most promoted teams, impressing all the premier league teams, and then getting very tired and out of ideas when their teams are getting injured or exhausted,,, Norwich is problematic too because they keep getting promoted and relegated and each time up they are doing worse than before.

I apologize to anyone who predicted Spurs

As an Arsenal fan, no apology needed!  Grin

Sorry to rub it in, but it was it sure is nice to see the Gunners firing live rounds and not duds as they had for the first three matches of the season.  Three wins in a row, Arteta must be a genius.  I can't believe anyone would ever talk bad about him.  Wink

Another big win for me this round; I'm no longer at the bottom of the leaderboard!  Yaaaay!  Sorry to Welsh for trading places.  Well, at least I'll be polite enough to say I'm sorry.  Cool

No problem,,, just keep rubbing it in because we deserve it. And Arsenal deserve to win also, as I said before people forgot how tough their opponents were in the first 3 matches plus Spurs won against City and that gave everybody the wrong expectations.

Had no idea Palace - Brighton is local derby. Just heard commentator saying how Palace will die on the pitch before they let their arch nemesis Brighton claim top of Premier League. On the other hand if Brighton wins this would be their first time ever on pole position in PL. Really a game with much higher stakes then I thought initially. Maybe I was rash with my both to score pick, I usually avoid that market on high intensity games.

That draw pissed me off.  I originally had a 1 to 1 draw in my prediction, then started over thinking things when I learned that Brighton had a chance to sit atop the league for a week.  I figured they would come out like a house on fire and burry Palace to make it happen.  I should have stuck with my gut instincts.   Sad
